The Old Farmhouse

Welcome to the countryside. I offer a peaceful location and a friendly farmhouse for you to accommodate and relax during your holiday between exploring the wonders the south has to offer. (20 km from Road 1). Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, and downstairs a living room, a kitchen fully equipped for cooking, a work room, a bathroom and a washing room. Outside is a large terrace. We offer incredible cabin located in the heart of South Iceland, the perfect location for sightseeing all the famous natural attractions of the south coast, such as Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, natural mountain pool, the black sand beach or ferry to Vestmannaeyjar Island. The cabin is decorated in the typical Icelandic style with two bedrooms and a loft, as well as two bathrooms and an open kitchen/living area. There is also a hot tub on the property to relax after a day of travelling.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Close to the golden circle and a lot other famous sites, such as seljalandsfoss, skogafoss and vestmannyjar. We have had some guests how have issues locking the door, to lock the door you need to pull up the handle and turn the key. Vallnatún Cottage is located on the South coast of Iceland, nearby many of the main attractions, like waterfalls, volcanoes, black sand beaches and glaciers. The place is nearby the main road but at the same time a remote place, with a great view of the coastline on one side and the mountains on the other side.
