Fantastic experience!! The house and view are absolutely surreal. The pictures do not do the place justice! Such an amazing escape to the mountainside. We had an amazing time just relaxing in the house and looking at the views. Marta was a great host! She was incredibly responsive and so kind. Would absolutely recommend this location.

Le airbnb était aussi beau que décrit dans l'annonce, tout a été pensé dans les détails. Nous avons apprécié les nombreuses recommandations et la visite guidée de l'écurie offerte par Cheila. Profiter du jacuzzi en écoutant les oiseaux au milieu de la nature était incroyable. Si vous recherchez un lieu paisible où déconnecter ce lieu est fait pour vous ! Ce airbnb mérite amplement 5 étoiles même si j'ai été attaqué par le chien du propriétaire à notre arrivée, en marchant vers ce que je croyais l'endroit pour récupérer les clefs de la location. Heureusement le chien était attaché au bout d'une chaîne et je m'en suis sortie "seulement" avec quelques égratignures, des bleus et un pantalon déchiré, que Cheila m'a remboursé. Ma seule remarque serait donc d'ajouter une petite pancarte pour signaler le chien qui m'a prise par surprise. Malgré cet incident je recommanderais ce airbnb et y reviendrais avec plaisir.

Het bereiken van het huis is geen gemakkelijke opgave, maar dat maakt de plek juist extra uniek. De serene rust is geweldig. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht met oog voor detail en schoonheid. Als was aanwezig. We konden niet langer blijven, anders hadden we zeker voor meer nachten geboekt.

Beautiful, remote area! The house does have neighbors right next door that are always visible, so you are always seen when on patio deck or using jacuzzi (not too private). We didn't mind too much, but some people may care about lack of privacy. We would have liked to enjoy morning coffee on the deck, but neighbor ran a tractor and wood chopping saw next to the deck for hours each day, so it was impossible to use deck and enjoy any silence or nature sounds. Kitchen needs to have pots and pans that are compatible with with the induction stove. We did find one that worked, but the others were incompatible. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the region is gorgeous for nature lovers!

Great place very well located on the heart of Mondariz. Very clean with optional parking in the apartment building. Alberto was very easy to communicate and the building is charming and historic. We will definitely come back!

Passei 4 dias na Varanda de Sistelo, em pleno Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês, e a experiência foi simplesmente fantástica. O alojamento fica num local muito recatado e tranquilo, ideal para quem procura descansar longe da agitação da cidade. A paisagem envolvente é deslumbrante — estar rodeado por natureza com vistas incríveis foi um verdadeiro privilégio. O espaço era acolhedor, muito confortável e equipado com todas as amenidades necessárias para uma estadia relaxante. Foi tudo impecável do início ao fim. Sem dúvida, recomendo a Varanda de Sistelo a quem procura um refúgio tranquilo no coração do Gerês.

We stayed for one week in June with our dog. It was a wonderful experience: - Village: it's a tiny village with a few people. If you want to recover from the city noise it's a perfect place. There is no bars or shops, so be prepared and take all the necessary food with you. People are nice. There are a lot of cows! They are friendly and beautiful. - House territory: it was the most beautiful view from the house that I've ever saw - giant mountain in front of every window. Super calm. Territory has a fence, it was enough for our dog to stay inside but there are holes so be prepared if your dog tends to run away. There is a bbq outside. - House: it was just awesome - everything you need you will find: enough of blankets, pillows, comfortable coach, dishwasher. Cooking pans are not the best, but enough. I liked the interior very much - it's a lot of space in the living room, giant dining table, in one of the bedrooms you have mountain view. Strongly recommend. Thank you!

La casa esta preciosa y es muy acogedora. El jardin, la piscina, la barbacoa...todo un lujo. Zona tranquila para poder relajarte. Los anfitriones encantadores y muy cercanos. Totalmente recomendable
