Our five-day stay in this beautiful, large house on the island was wonderful. It was a great adventure to travel to the island by motorboat. The house is located on a hill with magnificent views in all directions and offers both plenty of space and comfort. The hot tub was surprisingly no longer available, but that didn't bother us much given the manageable length of stay and the very changeable weather anyway. Elisabeth was a wonderful hostess. The information was very precise and helpful. She always responded to questions super quickly and kindly. We highly recommend everyone to experience this island adventure and enjoy this luxurious property.

Lovely private place with beautiful views and a cozy cabin. We’ve enjoyed the quietness and natural atmosphere in Eversvik. Highly recommended for people who are looking for a place to disconnect from busy lifestyles and enjoy a fairly romantic nature right at their doorstep.

Tommy‘s cabin is an extraordinary place and allowed us to enjoy Norway to the fullest: from swimming and catching cod in the fjord with the boat and sauna sessions to incredible hikes. We had an amazing time and hope to be back some day!

Rolf and Lena's cabin is beautiful and nothing is missing. The location is unique! Hosts are very friendly. Lena had left us a coffee, Easter pastries and fresh flowers to welcome us. We had a great week here and even saw aurora lights.

Although we only spent one night at the accommodation, we took a lovely walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Sunniva welcomed us with a warm and cozy home — the fireplace was already crackling when we arrived, filled with freshly added firewood. She even showed us a newborn lamb, which was such a special experience. The place has a very charming and inviting atmosphere.

A great house with many possibilities and close to Bergen. We had snow and were able to see the Northern Lights! Host is very friendly and we felt right at home. For us this was the second time and we will definitely be back!

Mountains on three sides and a fjord on the other. If you're looking for solitude at the end of the world, this is it. A piece of advice, it's a single lane road in with blind corners and hills, so be ready to stop on a dime for on coming traffic. Also, the local market will have essentially anything you'd need, but they have eccentric hours so I'd recommend bringing along a day's worth of food to be safe.

Host is very responsive and receptive. The house is beautiful and one with its surroundings. You stare right onto the water. No complaints. I would definitely come back again.

The stay in Laila's hut was indescribably beautiful and relaxing. We had a rather mixed weather during our stay with a lot of storm and rain. Due to the very tasteful and cozy furnishings, the wood-burning stove with already existing wood and the huge window fronts with a great view of the fjord, we made it really cozy in the cottage. In addition, fishing for mackerel from the shore was already child's play. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

Anita and Tom were some of the best hosts I have ever had! Awesome place, could not have asked for a better experience. Our only regret was we could not stay longer.

Peaceful, tranquil and private location. The boat was great! The instructions and directions were very clear to get to the cabin. A few fishing spots were also shared and we were successful catching our dinner every evening! The two best things we enjoyed every evening was the cozy wood burning fire place inside and sitting outside in the evening. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was comfortable, wifi worked great, shower had great water pressure! Excellent stay!

Cozy cabin. Felt right at home. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Plus 15 min by car from a great hike called Lihesten.

We enjoyed our visit and stay at the cottage. The view and location were excellent. The hosts were responsive, helpful and personal. We would highly recommend for either a couple or a family looking to enjoy access to the water and a peaceful location.

This secluded house was a beautiful stay. The photos didn’t do it justice. The house was so warm, clean and modern. Had everything we needed. The views were amazing and fire well stocked. Highly recommend Bjartes place.

nice ... nice place, nice cottage, beautiful view, beautiful peace and wonderful silence ... you can easily reach very interesting places and amazing views, and then rest in the cottage after the hardships of sightseeing ... a place worth recommending. If you are looking for peace, you will find it here. The house is very secluded, about 15 minutes by car is a small shop(Joker). The house is about 5-10 minutes walking from the parking lot. You have to take the luggage with a Schukarre (is on site) or a (as with us) wagon. We had this information from the comments,a description in the info would be helpful:-) The house is clean and nice and cozy. There is hot running water ( rainwater! No drinking water, this must be taken with you) There is a small boathouse nearby, at Erlend you can rent a boat hobby 5.20 m with a wheelchair and 60 hp engine. We went fishing with it and did nice tours. I had a very nice time here with my children :-)

We had a wonderful trip and stay. The house is an absolute dream and just as beautiful as in the pictures. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Our host Linda is very attentive and friendly, we will be back very soon. That was my best Norway experience so far :)

We had a wonderful stay at Ove’s place! He was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking and stay. The house itself was cozy, spacious, and had everything I needed. The view of the water was beautiful, and the area was peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. I can absolutely recommend staying here and would gladly come back. Thanks again, Ove!
