Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Rabo de Peixe

This place is amazing! We enjoyed the apartment for two weeks as our home base to explore Sao Miguel. With its location in Lagoa it is the perfect getaway from the business of Ponta Delgada but still close enough to go on early whale watching tours.. or to any direction on the island. The kitchen is very well setup - we could prepare meals on multiple days but also enjoyed the walks to the nearby restaurants.. With breakfast and dinner on the roof top terrace this place is a unique find and we will be happy to stay again! Thank you for making such a place a reality!

Echt een fantastisch verblijf! Je hebt veel ruimte en het is niet gehorig. De locatie is fantastisch! Je hebt wel een auto nodig, maar je zit op een centrale ligging, waardoor alles goed te bereiken is. De host is ook erg behulpzaam en kan je altijd een berichtje sturen wanneer er iets is. Ze probeert het probleem dan gelijk op te lossen. Het huis is ook super netjes en schoon. Alles is aanwezig in de keuken. Al met al een echte aanrader!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Rui was responsive and helpful whenever needed. The private terrace overlooking the ocean was the true standout. Some thoughtful touches like coffee, milk, juice, and jam were also provided for our arrival. The location in São Roque is quiet but conveniently walkable to Ponta Delgada (~30 min along a beautiful coastal path). We usually found parking in the small lot at Ilhéu de S. Roque at the end of the road, though be aware it's a narrow drive where you need to drive half on the sidewalk. If that's a concern, there’s ample parking just a short walk away on Av. do Mar. We didn’t notice much noise from the nearby Cais 20 restaurant. That said, the larger bedroom faces the street and can pick up foot traffic if windows are open. The smaller room was quieter and had better ocean sounds — we actually preferred sleeping there. Beds and pillows are basic but we slept just fine. All in all, a wonderful stay with a spectacular view.

This is the best place to stay in all of the Azores! The owners are the nicest people and have literally equipped the apartment with everything you could possibly need to make your stay on the island enjoyable. It is absolutely perfect for families as they even had toys, a baby bed, high chair, and rocking chair prepared for us. There is parking right in front of the complex, and it was super quiet. The hosts give you total privacy as we only saw them at check in and checkout, even though they lived right next door. They were also super responsive via the AirBNB chat for anything we needed. The apartment itself was also a perfect spot for making day trips because it's right in the middle of the island and only 15-minutes to most things in Punta Delgado. It was also so much bigger than it looked in the pictures. I thought it was just a studio apartment, but the kitchen is actually in a separate room. The bread and eggs were so thoughtful and made this a ten thousand star stay! :)

We have been at the parents house for a week and had an amazing time. The view from the balcony is insane and the whole Apartment has beautiful furniture. The communication was also very easy and lovely. Thus I can highly recommend this apartment for everybody who is doing vacation on the Azores.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely proactive about helping us with any and all needs. We were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they had everything prepared for him including high chair and crib all set up. We are so glad we got to spend a wonderful week at this property. Beautiful house and good location to visit the rest of the Island. Just to note that the beds are extra firm if that's your preference. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We would come back without second thought. Vitor's place was as described and we felt like home right away. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated kitchen (well equipped), living area and bedrooms. The place had all we needed for our 5 days stay. Host was very responsive, helpful and polite. Check in very smooth. We would recommend this place to our friends.

We had a great time here! The view is amazing and the appartment is more then complete. Everything you need is available. The communication with Miguel was easy and he gave us all the information we needed for our stay. When we arrived there was enough food for the next day, what a great service! We can really recommend a stay here, you will never forget it!

The place was clean and convenient. There was a leak in the toilet that was quickly resolved.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and the location was perfect. We walked to the local market, cheese store and butcher and there were a couple small grocery stores within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and sites within walking distance as well. The garage worked well for us and the entry in and out of the building was seamless. The view front the outdoor deck was incredible and an absolute bonus to enjoy. The cooking facilities were excellent and the glasses, plates , knives etc were plentiful and in great condition. The unit was incredibly clean and functional and you could tell there was a lot of thought that went into making it perfect for guests. It was our pleasure to stay there and if we ever make our way back to this lovely city, we will definitely stay again.

Amazing stay! Very much enjoyed a tour around the island with Goncalo’s father, (very friendly with a good sense of humour). We saw beautiful views from all the places he took us, enjoyed an Azorian stew at Furnes and a dip in a thermal pool. The hosts went above and beyond to make us welcome, my husband enjoying playing a game of paddle with the family. The apartment was as described, clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. We did not hire a car but with the 2 day tour and walking around the local area, visiting beaches and Ponta Delgada (all walkable) we did not miss out at all. Good to get a feel for the local area & local people. Great to have the restaurant next door and the swimming area right outside the apartment! We would definitely like to return again. We really enjoyed staying at Isabel’s place. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside and in the cozy living room. The location was ideal for our daily road trips on this beautiful island. Isabel was very quick to respond to any question we had. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!

We had a lovely stay here! The apartment is beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious, modern bathroom. The balcony was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. There’s a popular restaurant right next door, and although the apartment is located a bit outside the Ponta Delgada city center, it’s a peaceful area with enough parking nearby. We had a car, which we’d recommend, but also walked into town along the scenic coastline-it takes about 30 minutes. All in all, a great base for exploring the island!

The space was fantastic for a family of five. Well positioned to walk everywhere. Having covered parking was a lifesaver as there is nowhere to park on the streets. Claudia was so nice and responsive. Will definitely stay here again!!

Loved our stay! There was a bit of an ant problem but we’re pretty sure that was due to the weather/season. Sara is a lovely host, and was very clear in her messages.

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

We stayed at Maria’s place for one week with our 11 month old baby as she provided all (and more) of the baby essentials (high chair, pack and play, baby bath, towel, shampoo, etc.). Many additional amenities and extras were provided which were appreciated, including a dropped off breakfast one morning. Overall, we loved our time at Maria’s place, having access to guaranteed, private parking was a huge plus! The only downfall was that for the first couple of days there was a musty smell, which dissipated throughout the week. Maria was very responsive and allowed us to check in several hours ahead of the listed time, which was great as we had an overnight flight!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Gorgeous home with breathtaking views, modern, clean, well kept, well appointed. Laundry a plus. Had eggs and wine available to us at check in! Parking is a little tricky to get through the gate and orient the car so that it is easier to drive out but we figured it out quickly. Great location near airport and restaurants. Luis was very proactive about towels and linens.

Such a bargain for a delightfully decorated apartment with an incredible view and a hot tub on the terrace!!! The area was peaceful and stunning and the apartment had everything you could need! Definitely recommend :)
