Apartment holiday rentals in Rabo de Peixe

The condo is beautiful and we enjoyed the deck and garden areas with the ocean view. The kitchen was well appointed and had what we needed for cooking and coffee. The beds were comfortable and I really liked the automatic shutters that blocked out light well for sleeping. The host was very easy to communicate with. Unfortunately the house next door is under construction and the noise was pretty loud starting at 8:30 am every day except Sunday. We spent most of the day time out of the house exploring but if there had been bad weather, the noise would have prevented us from relaxing/reading.

Santa Bárbara Sea House is peaceful yet close to Ribeira Grande. The apartment is tastefully renovated, bright, very clean, and well equipped. We especially liked the two comfortable bedrooms, the open kitchen-living area, and the shared outdoor space. Silvia an her Team is a fantastic host – friendly, reliable, and easy to reach. A perfect place to relax, enjoy, and explore the island. Highly recommended!

Amazing two-bedroom apartment with huge patio, living room, great kitchen with coffee Nepresso machine. Good local amenities (jams, local pastries, biscuits) Great area just 5 min drive from Ponta Delgada downtown, 2min walk from a great beach with amazing waves for surfing. Fatima was a great host, attentive and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We were welcomed in person, and there were some treats to enjoy, which was very thoughtful. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The location was great, and we were easily able to walk around town. We also had an easy time finding parking on the street behind the apartment. Miguel and Pedro were lovely hosts. They were communicative and always quick to respond. We would recommend this apartment and will stay here again if we visit again.

Loved it!! Beautiful apartment with an amazing view of the mountains and the ocean. Very clean and well equipped — even the pans were like new, which was a nice surprise! Perfect for our stay with two young children. An easy choice we highly recommend.

I stayed here with 3 friends, and we all had an incredible stay! The apartment was so clean with more than enough towels, and kitchen supplies. It’s a quick walk to the beach and near some cool restaurants. The host gave us tons of great recommendations. The beds were comfy and the views from the apartment were amazing! Immaculate and great location in Furnas. Clean, comfortable apartment with well-appointed kitchen. The location was amazing just a block from Parque Terra Nostra. The Caldeiras are on the other side of town, a 10-15 minute walk. Ample street parking a short distance from the apartment. We found the washer/dryer useful. The best part for me was how quiet the penthouse was. It is on a main street, but the place is in the back of the building, and we never heard street noise or neighbors. This was my favorite place of the 3 we stayed at in Portugal, but it was my wife's second favorite, as it was smaller than the others and she found it a bit cramped.

The accommodation was impeccably clean and in a comfortable and cozy decoration. The welcome basket with regional products was a very thoughtful gesture by hosts. The house has excellent soundproofing, which provides a peaceful rest. It is very well equipped, with plenty of utensils available. I highly recommend this site and will undoubtedly return at the next opportunity.

Villa Esmeralda was the perfect place to stay in Sao Miguel. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, gardens, waterfront. The private parking in a garage was a plus! The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. There was a beautiful common area that we didn’t use but is available! The apartment itself has a small outdoor deck. Easy access to the main roads that bring you anywhere else you want to visit on the island. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Claudia was also responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Strongly recommend!

Jackie's place exceeded our expectations. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean with an exceptional view with daily sunsets. We even got to watch a surfing competition from our living room. Jackie is very responsive and non intrusive and gave us some excellent dining and other recommendations.

Our stay in Ponta Delgada was wonderful! Check in was a breeze and the apartment was exactly what we expected and more. The living room and kitchen were spacious and very well equipped. We had more than enough utensils, dish ware, and cookware. Everywhere in the apartment was clean and comfortable, and had surprising amounts of storage. Travelling to and from the apartment by car was very easy, and the garage parking added extra peace of mind. Not sure if we missed some guest instructions, but we had to ask where to take out our garbage and recycling, which would have been nice to know sooner. All in all, a very cozy, well equipped, and conveniently located apartment to stay at when exploring the island!

Great hosts, great place, great communication! They helped me out twice with unexpected issues in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to my family and friends without reservation. If I return to Lagoa, I would stay here again.

All was perfect. We suggest changing the towels they were a bit ripped.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment has so much charm – it’s part of a beautifully renovated old building, combining traditional character with stylish design. It’s located in a little village, which made the experience feel even more special and authentic. The apartment is perfectly equipped with everything you need, and we got some nice local gifts. The large garden is peaceful and great for relaxing. It's also the perfect base for exploring the west of the island, including the breathtaking Sete Cidades. We will definitely come back.

Check in was easy, as followed instructions given. Very noisy from airport (didn’t realise how close we were when booking). The apartment was perfect for my mum and I, one bed and used sofa bed. Would recommend if you have a hire car like us as we drove into town and everywhere else, not the best if you need to use taxi/ bus etc to get around

Beautiful location. Sea view. Big sliding glass doors and wonderful black out blinds. Brilliant shower. Gualter and his wife were perfect hosts, helping with local convenient car hire and taxi too. Always there to help make the trip smooth and special. Great hosts, great apartment, great location. There are sea water swimming pools within 5 minutes walk! We loved this.

The apartment is beautiful, it is attached to their house but you have a section of farm that seems like it is all to yourselves. The fresh vegetables and fruit were delicious, it is located so central you can go to either end of the island easily. The restaurant was incredible!

André was very helpful from beginning to the end of our stay. Always available if any help or advice was needed. Extremely friendly in communication and checking in with us during our stay to make sure all was okay. Amazing experience and great location. The hot tub was exactly what we needed at the end of an adventurous day! I recommend to anybody looking for a great experience and central location while in Sao Miguel!

Really can’t say enough positive things about this spot. Excellent location right in the heart of Ponta Delgada, walkable to everything. Clean, modern, well lit space with all the amenities, even a curated wine selection. Honestly one of the nicest AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed in and perfect for our family of 5’s stay on Sao Miguel.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

My husband and I had a great stay at Bruno’s Airbnb. We picked this apartment because it is located in a very quiet neighborhood, 7 minutes away from the supermarket, and about 15 minutes away from Ponta Delgada. When we arrived the space was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. Everything looks brand new. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in after a long adventurous day. He was very quick to answer any of our questions and he provided some great recommendations on places to visit, and where to eat. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
