Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Awesome walking location to all Arrowtown main st . Spa was well received after golf and biking activities . Outdoor lounge is great under cover for summer rains and comfy. Everything you need here . We loved it .

This was a perfect stay, convenient right across the bus stop and Foursquare. I felt so at home and so welcome. Arrowtown is a real hidden gem and it was a manageable walking distance into town to explore further. Great suggestions in the compendium, comfortable and warm bed and the heat pump was a bonus, although I didn’t need it much with the lovely sunny few days. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Nice view, I really wish we could say here for longer. the place is close to the town and petrol station. Convenience.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay, the view was spectacular. The place was clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. David was very responsive and helpful, gave us clear check in instructions.

Amazing house, amazing hosts, cool animals which you can feed! Setting is absolutely stunning, close enough to Queenstown but remote enough to feel the serene landscape, amazing night sky's too. Hosts went above and beyond and did everything with a smile. Great spot!!

Suzanne’s property was the best decision we could have made for our trip. Gorgeous rustic design and a working ranch with deer stock nearby. Halfway between Queenstown and Glenorchy the location was perfect for a quiet retreat after a being out and about in town/nature. There are a few guest houses at the location and everyone was friendly and we had plenty of privacy while not being too isolated. Loved it and would stay again or recommend it to friends. If you want a sweet Homestay outside of Queenstown and with a magnificent view, this is your place. Well equipped and super comfy Bed. Can be a bit chilly in winter.

Don's place was perfect for a few night's stay. It is well furnished with everything we needed, such as a full kitchen and washing machine/dryer. We especially appreciated coming to a home that can be heated well during the cold winter. The place was located in a quiet neighbourhood that's only about 10 mins to town!

This is a very new one bedroom apartment separated off from a house in a residential neighborhood about 15 minutes driving time from Queenstown. The space is very comfortable and the views from the area are really special. Emma and Paul were very proactive and caring, helping me with several issues that arose during my stay. The bed is very nice and the shower was great. Guests should know that as of 2025 Emma has an infant, so from time to time you can hear crying or playing inside the apartment. It's not bad, but you should have earplugs if you think that might bother you.

Thank you Steph for such a beautiful stay. The photos did not do the room justice, it was impeccably clean with everything you could need for your stay. We appreciated the heat hump, heated towel rack and floors for our winter stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Steph’s place again.

Simon's place was amazing!! The photos don't do it justice. When you walk in and see that view from the living room, it's like looking at a post card every day. We had everything we needed at the house and the grocery store was just a few minutes away. Loved having the Queenstown walking trail right out front of the house and the wonderful hot tub behind the house. We were able to relax in the hot tub after a day of hiking and see the beautiful lake, mountains and sunsets. We walked down to the Frankton Arm Tavern a couple of times for dinner and had a wonderful meal each time. Loved being close to Queenstown, restaurants, stores, trails, but also feeling like we were remote, in a quiet neighborhood. It is about 3 miles to Queenstown, and we could walk, but mostly drove. Biking would be a great option too since the trails are so convenient! Highly recommend Simon's place! We can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Everything was exceptional at Jaimee's: it is quiet, clean, modern (with a super-comfy bed!) and Jaimee is an excellent communicator. The unit is very well laid out and provides an ideal launching point for activities in the area. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Queenstown and the view was great. I don't hesitate to recomend Jaimee's place to others visiting Queenstown and the surrounding area.

Gail and Peter were fantastic hosts. Parking and accessing the property was easy and all the information we needed was provided to us. The place was clean, tidy and very welcoming. Would 100% recommend a stay here :)

Our stay at Mei's place was great. Very comfortable and cosy and has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, and felt quite comfortable. The accommodation was exactly as shown and nice and clean. The wifi was good which was really helpful for work purposes. We also really enjoyed the fire pit. Would definitely recommend it.

While we only had two nights in Queenstown, Ben & Chloe’s place was perfect for our stay. The views were spectacular and the studio was super comfortable and had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer made all the difference after being on the road for a few days too. Would definitely return for any future stays in Queenstown.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rental accommodation just a short walk from Queenstown! The location couldn’t have been better—close enough to enjoy a leisurely stroll into town yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and serene. The views were breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the lake that we couldn’t get enough of. The property itself was immaculate. It was clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining a spotless environment, which made our stay all the more comfortable. What truly stood out were the thoughtful daily amenities—fresh bread, delicious cakes, and other treats that added a delightful touch to our mornings. It was these small yet meaningful details that made us feel so welcome. The combination of unbeatable location, outstanding hospitality, and those mesmerizing lake views made this an unforgettable experience. A delightful place in a gorgeous part of the country with lovely hosts . Everything top quality and comfortable with little extras like fruit ,fresh milk delicious homemade Musli , Vogel’s and homemade marmalade. Thanks guys We would definitely stay again.

Great cosy place to stay, property is really comfortable with a really good bed. Location is amazing, really peaceful with mountain landscapes all around. Laika and family were all friendly and always responsive. Overall would recommend.
