We booked for 8 people to celebrate our 60th birthday together and enjoy 4 days in a peaceful and green place. Beautiful region. Very nice home. Clean. Very well equipped in each room. Necessary in every respect. No neighbors. Very good Bedding. Very comfortable living room. Garden lounge areas, garden table area, BBQ, swimming pool turned on 2 days before the scheduled date to be nice to us… DAVE and DEBBYE are very attentive. I highly recommend this listing! Dries and Ingrid gave us detailed Check-In informations and informed us about villages, we should visit, and they also gave us instructions how to use some things at their gite or where to find things. I chose this Airbnb for a week away to celebrate my birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Marloes and Olav were incredibly welcoming hosts, from the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. The Airbnb itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, with so much attention to detail. The area is stunning, peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet still close to nearby towns with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to explore. The facilities were great, everything was exactly as described, and more. Marloes was always just a message away and super helpful throughout my stay, which made everything even more relaxing. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in a beautiful location. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a very good weekend with friends, the cottage is fully equipped, quiet and well located, the garden is a real haven of peace and communication with the owners is simple and pleasant, nothing to say we would love to come back.

Very nice house , tastefully decorated. I have already rented a lot of houses but have never had the opportunity to have a rental house so clean and so complete with everything one could need. It feels like home. I would highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

We recommend Elisabeth's cottage, it is located in a quiet environment, it is well equipped and decorated with care. The swimming pool, bocce court and games room are a real plus. Élisabeth is very attentive to her hosts. We had a lovely weekend with the family in this refreshing place.

We were a group of 12 friends in the beautiful house of Betrand and Claire. We were delighted by the spaciousness of the rooms. We were able to sit together at the table indoors and outdoors, nothing was missing in the kitchen, we felt very comfortable. We used the pool and were able to create a cinema evening thanks to the screen and projector. Bertrand was very helpful

Very pleasant stay at the little cottage in the garden. The accommodation is very comfortable for two people (not so small) especially as there is a table and chairs available for eating outside with the nice view of the garden and the surrounding meadows. The accommodation is clean, the decoration pleasant and the area very beautiful. We were able to enjoy hiking and swimming in the lakes and rivers in early June with beautiful weather. Many points of interest are 30 minutes' drive away and you can also go for a walk from the cottage. Anyway, don't hesitate!

Very nice stay at Geneviève and Alain's, the cottage is beautiful in a green and peaceful setting in the Morvan, functional, well-equipped and very clean. We thank our hosts for the welcome, the good advice and the delicious cherries offered by Geneviève. We will be happy to come back during our next visit to the Morvan.

Beautiful and peaceful setting by the river. Great garden for the dogs plus kayak and paddle boards to explore the river for longer stays. Cecile accommodated an earlier check in which was very much appreciated. It's a shame we didn't have longer to explore the area.

Beautiful, homey house. Lovely garden with beautiful flowers. Everything was also available for our children (twins of 2). We enjoyed.

We loved this location. Sylvie was friendly and the space matched the description exactly. We only stayed two nights and visited Vezelay. Around June 21, the 9 stepping stones of light can be admired there. Nice to experience that! There was a heat wave and Sylvie's place was nice and cool. Across the street, we could park under cover and there was a garden that we could use. We didn't do that because it was just too hot. Make sure you do some shopping when you come here. The restaurant Sylvie recommended was closed and Vezelay is the nearest place for shopping and food.

Sandrine's cottage is a true haven of peace. Exceptional location, a magical view of the castle, surrounded by nature. Comfort is at the rendezvous, everything is impeccable and you feel immediately good... our dog too, thanks to the beautiful fully fenced garden! Nature and culture offer you plenty of choices for the holiday program. Sandrine is a kind and discreet hostess who delicately ensures the well-being of her guests. We would definitely recommend the place!

We had a pleasant weekend at Marc's. The house perfectly matched the description and photos, in the middle of nature. Communication with Marc was excellent from the time of booking until departure. We fully recommend Marc's cottages, in the heart of the Morvan :)

We stayed in the house for 4 nights. There is nothing to do in the hamlet, but the surroundings are beautiful and Vezelay and Avalon are a short distance away. From the village, there is a walking route of 8 km. The WiFi is under the router, which is under a wooden block. That was a bit of a search. Nice rooms, nice beds. Great stay. Thanks Anne-Sophie 👋

Cycling the Nivernais in 35*C flexibility in arrival times, the cool relaxing atmosphere, we really could not have spent the night in a more welcoming, genuine provincial country home. The grandeur of its history seeps from every stone.

The house was great, if you like these typical old houses, then this house is just right. Robert is a great person, he has great ideas, if something is missing, he gives good tips for excursions in the area and is also otherwise just a super helpful host, just like his wife! The surroundings are very beautiful, but the demands on companies are very different. I personally rode my bike a bit through the woods and we walked to the surrounding old churches. However, it is not soooo exciting in the immediate vicinity. Old churches, old walls, those who like these things naturally have a relatively large selection. With small children, the selection is rather limited, at least in bad weather. Overall, a stay there is worthwhile if it takes place in good weather and you know how to make the most of it. Otherwise, the house also offers beautiful opportunities for romantic time by the fire!

We had a great stay at Philippe and Jennifer's. They are very kind, discreet and attentive hosts. We had a great welcome from Philippe, with gourmet welcome gifts. The house is cozy, tastefully decorated and has everything you need and more. The bedding is of good quality. We took advantage of the huge garden to "laze around" and rest. And discover the region, the cottage being well located. We have access to a wealth of documentation, so we don't miss anything essential. . Thank you Philippe and Jennifer and good luck.

Our family came together for a week at Les Coquelicots from all parts of the world and what a wonderful time we had. The home is charmingly appointed and fits eight adults comfortably, with lots of alternative spaces in which to find quiet or relocate for a change of scenery. The garden is a lovely setting for reading and dining, the living room is spacious for games and movies and the bar is another kitsch space to convene with some delicious bottles easily found in Burgundy. We were always able to contact someone for assistance and we found lots of spices, teas, oils, vinegars and all one might want to find in a delightful countryside kitchen. The home is in a beautiful village about 20 mins by car from Beaune and other villages within the region. Walking in the countryside and enjoying an evening sunset is possible on foot to many different vantage points. It’s a special place to relax, make memories and feel connected with nature.

A clean, tidy space with all the necessary equipment. It is renovated with care and taste. It matches the information. It's nice to stay there. Close to a playground for kids. Pleasant and responsive host. We recommend it without hesitation!

Jos and Sabrina are friendly people with whom you quickly feel at ease. The place offers plenty of privacy, tranquility and a beautiful view from the garden. A single car (counted on one hand) and occasionally a flock of sheep. The accommodation is playful and spatially designed. The basics for cooking and making tea/coffee are present. A nice wood stove (with split wood) for which there is a clear instruction in the folder with information about the house. The bed was fine. It is self-evident and you quickly feel at home. Unfortunately, the baker in the village had stopped making it. In a nearby village (Montreuillon) there is still a (NL speaking) baker. From the house you can go hiking. We have been able to explore the neighborhood with our dog. Very nice and calm environment. Birds, a cow mooing and a church bell ringing embedded in silence. Had a wonderful week!
