Farmstay holiday rentals in Punjab

We were there for more than a month. Found Munish and family to be incredibly friendly, responsive & helpful. It is a beautiful place with wonderful views of the mountains (at least from our unit). Our stay was very comfortable. In addition when we needed anything extra … a pot or other utensils, they were available within minutes of our request. The only negative was the noise pollution from the highway nearby & the music being played till 2am during the Diwali season. Munish was not responsible for any of this and couldn’t do anything about it. The location also provided easy access by bus to Paprola, Palampur & Dharmashala whenever needed for groceries & trips… without the hustle & bustle of tourists ! Overall we had a wonderful time !

Nena is a very proactive and helpful host. She messaged me twice before our stay just to confirm if I needed anything else apart from the amenities provided. Her house is no less than a heaven..its a beautiful space with everything kept neat and clean..Uncle and Aunty were the epitome of warmth and hospitality...there was no place for any complaints...loved the property and moreover the people..

Homely atmosphere with a small garden. Dharam uncle is extremely helpful and friendly. He allowed early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost. Dhauladar ranges and sunrise view from the terrace is amazing.

Kiran and Pavail were just awesome hosts! Pavail drove up from Chandigarh to receive us and stayed late showing us the place, telling us the story, sharing all the little and big details and clearly demonstrating their passion for organic farming. We then had some of the best food we’ve had in our entire road trip in India - organic, authentic, freshly cooked Punjabi food in the winter sun with the other family staying there. Then we watched the animals being milked and got to try a glass of fresh A2 cow milk! We picked up baby goats, watched the feedings and had two more delicious meals. The sunset was stunning and the bonfire to ring in the new year was the perfect memory. The 84 year old creator of the farm is a superb conversationalist and great soul. “Fun, welcoming, animally!” was the description from my 10 year old. We would come back here and stay in a heartbeat.

it's a nice and clean place . caretaker is prompt and helpful. very close to Zoo you can even listen tiger roar . you can also watch snow clad mountains . parking is available with drivers room

First for airbnb - Do you think a bit hesitant before going for anything on airbnb...it is just natural and I too had that thought but I took a leap of faith and it just worked fantastic....what clicked was that the property is also registered with Punjab Tourism which relayed confidence and obviously the feedback...I believe airbnb is transformational....it is generating opportunities in area which was niche to hotels and resorts and travelers are experiencing the unexpected.....good going airbnb! For Farmer's villa -What is mentioned on the site is a bit underplayed by Mr Paramjeet and rightly so because when you are really there you are happily surprised to see he has the pulse of his guests....... Check-in was more of as you are visiting a friend/family....nice big rooms, neat and clean...though parts of property are still developing (swimming pool, spa and Gym - should be ready early 2018), what is currently there will take you to your childhood.....food is home made and awesome with most of it sourced from local organic farming ........ Working staff is local, friendly and always smiling .....good work by Mr Paramjeet in generating employment and promoting organic farming.......truely win-win So when you are not off to Amitrisar - Golden Temple, Wagah Border, Attari Station, local market, try cycling around the vast spread of farming, observe the silence, birds chirping, bath in the tube well, hands with a tractor or just resting on 'khaat' under the neem tree or an evening with drinks and dimly lit exterior........ Strictly for ones who understand it is not a hotel but a home, there are people around and not waiters, try doing things on their own, extend a helping hand if need be, connect with simplicity of a village, and ready for unexplored experience................. Winters would be absolutely fantastic to visit the place......

Rolling Hills.. wonderful hospitality! My stay here was just great. Loved the food, the rustic charm of the place the haunting music and lights around the bonfire evenings..the peacocks calling all around its a really unique homestay and so close to the beautiful city of Chandigarh!

We had such a wonderful stay! They truly captured the essence of Punjab and its vibrant lifestyle. They offered home-cooked dinner which was delicious, with so many options to choose from. We also loved the fun activities around the property—they really kept us entertained! The hospitality was top-notch, and we felt right at home. We would absolutely love to come back here again!

Great host. Great place for a weekend getaway.

It is an amazing property to enjoy nature yet having all the facilities of home. We stayed for one month with two kids. Kids loved the open space and enjoyed watching birds and watching cows in nearby fields. We also enjoyed organic lemons and veges which are grown on property. Host is super helpful and there is a caretaker family on property which provides great service. Rainy days feels heavenly here and thunderstorms at night makes a great light show. There is also a market nearby which is very convenient.

If you are looking for a comfortable solaceful place in the lap of nature, this is it enriched with home made sattvik food, with variety of flaura and fauna around. Went with family and just loved it.

Had a group of 17 people. The host Harnek was very responsive and got us in touch of the local caretaker of the property. Sunny. A character for sure. always looking to help in any way as possible. always making sure that all goes according to plan. Loved the stay and love the services provided by Sunny. About the property - looks like the pictures posted online. The only think we felt missing was the cutlery and crockery. bring your own. OR disposables.

It's a gorgeous property. Words won't do justice to what the eyes will witness there. Feels like you're in Scotland Countryside. The whole area of the property is just gorgeous and very well maintained. The beautiful trees, flowers, fence all around the property is absolutely delightful especially when the mountains feel like they are just a walk away from you. The helpers were very humble and polite. Nishar was a great host. Not to forget his two lovely dogs who were very friendly. My dog had a great time mingling with their dogs, chickens, cow and ducks. He loved this trip. The slate aesthetics are stunning. The food served by Gopal bhaiya was delicious. Tahir and cleaning didi were very nice as well. One of the best places to stay around palampur. fabulous place with greenery and all amenities along with great food

Couldn’t have asked for a better airbnb. If your vacation plan is to just relax in the midst of nature away from the hustle bustle of city then this is the property for you. It takes 20mins to cover the trek of 500m from parking location. I would suggest use it as a proper retreat instead of a ‘stay’

As Mr Ashok said he had a plan to build a restaurant in 1st floor for food arrangement for the visitors. He also had a plan to build a swimming pool. Out of 5 rooms , 3 rooms are big . Now there is no wardrobe/Almirah and dressing table in the rooms. But Mr Ashok said he will keep this in mind. No TV is there except in one room, although there is provision for TV in 3 rooms. The travelers should not expect to see the lake from the palace. Also there is no nearby places to move around by walking. The travelers can visit Dharamshala, Bainath, Palamur, Bir, Chintpurni ,Billing for Paragliding. One can arrive at the palace from Pathankot to Nagrota surian by narrow gauge train which is very nice as the valley and lake can be seen from the train. Mr Ashok can take you to the Palace from the station. One can cook in the kitchen as all the facilities are available for cooking. The kitchen is very large enough to cook for 15 people.

The moment I saw the pictures, I knew I wanted to be here. I booked the place but I was a little skeptical as it didn't show reviews- Turns out it is a very very new property. And I am so glad that I did. What a place, what hosts and what food. My everyday would be about eating farm grown food ( I would literally pluck mints and lemongrass for my evening tea) And the space is just wow) My 100 marks to this place! Just awesome! and home like ♥️♥️♥️

we had a nice one night stay at Mr Sharma's place. The place was nice, peaceful, serene and clean. He and his family are very hospitable.

The location of this property, near the famous Naina Devi Temple, is very beautiful. Ritesh is an exceptional host, treating us as if we were members of his family. His punctuality is truly commendable. The homemade food provided is absolutely amazing, which we greatly appreciated since we are not fond of fast food. Overall, our experience was excellent.

Amazing host, amazing location. Nishikant ji has been very flexible and friendly. Felt home like. The staff served delicious meals and was very polite. Vegetables used were homegrown only. Had a great time and would recommend to everyone. The rooms were very spacious with each room having a hall and kitchen attached. The bathrooms were one of the largest we have ever seen. Extra brownie points for the heater provided in the bathroom. The amenities in the property are also very useful. One of our best stays for sure!
