Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Salerno

We loved our stay at Vito's. It was an ideal place to rest after a day full of hiking and activities in the villages on the coast, facing a magnificent view of the sea and from our terrace where we also had access to a jacuzzi. Vito was very responsive, and took the time to explain the activities to do nearby, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The apartment was very well equipped and clean. We also enjoyed the quiet - as the accommodation is not in the city center, it takes 20-30 mins to walk down to the port, and you can enjoy the beautiful view and many shops and restaurants on the way. I also highly recommend the breakfast, you will not be disappointed!

Staying at terrazza sul vesuvio was great. The apartment was really nice and geatano and rosa were very welcoming. Who can complain if you have an amazing view over the vesuvius right?!

Wow what can I say. I travel a lot for work so am used to staying in lots of different places. This place was perfect. Beautiful location ideal for exploring the amalfi coast with boats a few minutes walk from the apartment. The town and marina are both beautiful with ample of restaurants to choose from. The views from the windows are breathtaking.. absolutely stunning. The church bells ringing are far from annoying and remind you of your beautiful location. If you are thinking about booking this place I say book it. You won’t be disappointed and the hosts are amazing at answering any questions. Thank you for a fantastic 5 days.. I will be back x

Beautiful structure, well cared for and with convenient parking. The apartment is perfect for those who plan to visit the archaeological area of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Vesuvius! Strategic point! Comfortable apartment and prepared and kind hosts, they have always placed with promptness and kindness to requests! Tip!

We absolutely loved our stay! Giovanna and her husband were so kind and helpful. She provided so much information to help us navigate our way around Praiano. The balcony is beautiful and was the highlight of our trip.

When we arrived it was out of season, but still loved being next to the beach. Bit of a job finding open restaurants, this is only because if the time of year. Saw enough restaurants getting ready for the season to know there would be lots to choose from. Nina was a great host and extremely helpful. Loved the stay. Thank you!

Best place for a workation! Perfect fast Internet connection and a nice place for two people to work all day and enjoy dinner in one of the lovely surrounding villages either by the sea or in the mountains. The bed was super comfy. Communication with Pamela was easy and quick.

I have fallen in love with this stay! It was like a dream, from how beautifully it has been designed to the views. This made a special birthday very memorable! The host was very helpful, they went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. They provided extra resources due to challenges and were helpful with planning our trip. I will definitely be visiting again, very soon hopefully!

The appartment is in one of the nicest old houses of the centro historico and interior is fully renovated and very functional. Quiet in the night but with restaurants and wine bars at 2 or 3 minutes walk, also the supermarket. Very close also to the access to the Castle and old high town. Private parking and pool are a huge plus (300m, 4 min walk from the house) From Agropoli you need 30 min to reach Paestum, Velia and many other little towns of the magnificent Natural park of the Cilento. We found several hiking routes and had a great time. The circular paths starting in Trentova are a must if you like hiking. Trentova beach, btw, offered us beatiful sunsets every day. Overall we had a 10 over 10 holiday week and will for sure repeat one day at Alfonso's place.

Maria was so friendly and helpful while navigating Salerno. I loved her place with the balconies and amazing location. The kitchen was a plus and the bathroom was super clean. Thanks Maria!

We enjoyed our stay! It was a great place to have as a landing pad while visiting amalfi coast and Pompeii! The place was clean and comfortable. It’s right next to the train station which takes you to Sorrento in 20 minutes. Nice beach walking distance car as well. Ohh, and great bakery and coffee shop right out front door.

I can only agree with the many positive reviews – the apartment is really great! Clean, well-equipped and very pleasant. The location is perfect if you are traveling by car: Naples and the Amalfi Coast are easily accessible. But the town itself also has a lot to offer – a beautiful beach, nice bars and a relaxed atmosphere. Clear recommendation!

I could not recommend this stay enough! While it is many stairs of a climb from Positano (to say the least), it was 100% worth it for the following reasons: 1. Antonio's son, Luca, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He goes above and beyond as an Airbnb host. Even after our check-out, when we had issues getting to our next destination, he stayed available to us and was able to provide us with direction. 2. The place is as pictured with gorgeous views and is super clean and comfortable. I truly value this in a stay as it is not always the case when you book Airbnbs. 3. There are a couple of really great restaurants that are a short walk away, along with a grocery store. 4. I prefer to be away from the main, super busy areas of town where it is more peaceful and serene, as it was here. 5. My husband and I were able to do the walk down AND up the stairs once daily and actually appreciated it for the amazing views and exercise. Would definitely stay again!

The four of us spent a whole week in Roberto's apartment. The baby bed was great for our youngest! We felt comfortable here, everything necessary is available, in the afternoon you can sit on the shady terrace. At night, it's a bit loud. The location is perfect for excursions to Naples (by train), Pompeii, Vesuvius, Ercolano... Absolutely great and Roberto was really worth mentioning as a host! So friendly, so helpful and always answered immediately! We found the private parking (additional costs) very pleasant. Within walking distance are several very good restaurants (pizza in Casa Caponi!!), there are 2 bakeries and a café that open very early. On foot, you can walk through the shopping street to a wooden path/stairs in about 12 minutes to the free beach (black sand!).

A summer apartment in the center, close to the train station and sea. The apartment is without luxury, but down-to-earth, clean, with two large rooms , a hallway, good bathroom, and a small kitchen where simple meals can be prepared. The most important pots, cutlery, fridge and so on are there. The centerpiece is certainly the courtyard, which must be nice and cool in summer. Attention: no Wi-Fi and no air conditioning. I didn't need either Anna as a host was very eager to ensure a best stay and was very friendly.

What can I say about this stay, but simply perfect! We’ve stayed in a lot of properties around Europe and in Italy but this takes top spot. Not only is the villa even more beautiful and practical that described, but our hosts could not have been more attentive, approachable and helpful. My father was unfortunately taken ill on the first day of our break, but this was made much less stressful with the help of Lucia and her father, who called the pharmacy, lead us to the hospital and translated for us. Nothing was too much for them. Not only this, they checked in on his health daily. Pino shared their homemade olive oil and limoncello and even some fresh food from their allotment. Just a perfect experience. Don’t think twice about booking this stay for you and your family! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Great for a quick weekend! Christian was super welcoming and helpful! The check-in process was very easy, and he showed us around and gave us information on the town!

We had a great stay! The apartment was spacious and very well equipped with everything you might need. We also really loved the private garden, kids playground and guide! We will go put of our way to stay here again if we are ever close again!

Giovanni was very responsive, accommodating and helpful in getting to the place. Agreed with other reviews that there are many steps, but it was well worth the beautiful view and we loved how relaxing and open the space was. Lovely accommodations. The stairs are a trek which isn’t a problem if you’re in reasonable shape - just keep in mind if u don’t do stairs well. We didn’t have a problem. Also, since we last came to amalfi driving rules have changed and there are restrictions now. We had to take a vehicle because of our larger party and we didn’t find the driving terrible, but we weren’t quite in the busy season. Giovanni suggested a parking garage, but we easily found paid street parking daily close by that was cheaper. Just do your research on street parking and driving restrictions for the time of your stay before you go vs. getting around by public transportation - restrictions are tightest during the busy season of summer.

No more no less: that’s been our most amazing vacation by far!!! We stayed on Antonella’s incredible Villa for a month (August-September), and it literally had all we needed: many spacious rooms with separate bathrooms for different families; huuuuge garden where we played table tennis, soccer (yeah, picture how big the territory actually is!!!!); a nice size pool (we played water polo); the garden had lemon, grape and cactus trees (the fruits of each we were allowed to taste). Downstairs in the house there was a spacious living area where we used to enjoy splendid family dinners. Location-wise: the house is built so conveniently to an autostrada (if, let’s say, you decide to go to Salerno, or Amalfi coast for a day trip); there is a cheese factory about 300m away (mmm, that buffalo products just melted in your mouth); as well as there are fish, meat and super markets very close by. We shopped a lot and ate only fresh food! What else? – Yes, the beach. It’s 15 minutes drive (Paestum Lido) but is very nice and warm. We loved goin there for a dip. On the Villa, we had a gardener Pepe who would just be there for you for whatever it is you might need. So helpful and friendly (thank you Giuseppe). We had a BLAST!!! I don’t really know how you may not like this fantastically gorgeous Villa. We will surely be back!!!❤️ Love love love……Already missing it

Great stay, beautiful place will great views and amenities. Likely need car/scooters to get into the city, streets are very narrow.

We stayed at Villa Soraya for 2 weeks because my dad was in an accident on the Amalfi coast. The family that owns this rental took us in like family! They were so accommodating and helpful! The location is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. As the property is up on the hill side the views of Cava de Terreni are stunning. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing place that feels like home. Thank you Regina and your family! Until we meet again.

Pina was excellent with the communication before and during our stay. The house had all the amenities including milk water and juices when we arrived. Excellent location.
