Giuseppe was a great host. Very responsive and friendly. The house was super clean and just like the pictures. The outdoor terrace on the Sassi is breathtaking and really add values to the stay. I would highly recommend or stay here again.

Il Melograno Vacation Home

We spent a night in Matera at Anna's and we were delighted! The house is located in the center of the city, with a magnificent view of the Sassi di Matera, is easily accessible, and very comfortable! The house is typical, and we emerged in the atmosphere of Matera! I recommend it:)

The Court of the Knights - of the Trumpeter, Matera

We had a lovely stay at Marcella’s apartment. It was the most amazing accommodation with cave bathroom! It was in a great location for walking around and exploring the old town. We would love to come back again in the future.

Il Vialetto nei Sassi, a house carved into the tuff

DeborahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Well designed and simply but effectively furnished accommodation, with good shower and facilities. There is good lighting and obvious electricity sockets if required. If you want to sit out for a late breakfast at the small table in the narrow entrance alleyway catches the sun for an hour or so (around 1100 when we were there in May). Plenty of local maps and information booklets were available. It is situated a short and reasonably level (only about 8 steps in total) walk from Piazza Vitoria Veneto, so a wheelie suitcase isn’t too much of a problem in the pedestrian only area. Good eateries and cafes nearby, but a gas hob is available if you want to eat in. Good property info folder. We used the secure car park recommended in your initial information - Garage Damasco. Although it cost €25 a day we felt we could leave it without any problems. One of the suggested experiences was Slow Food - Home Restaurant where we cooked an Italian meal in the chef’s home kitchen. Brilliant.

Casa del Mago – Castelmezzano

MarilynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Castelmezzano is a magical village. Everyone is so friendly, kind, helpful and a joy to talk to. We immediately felt at home in Antonello’s lovely place. We didn’t want to leave. It is a peaceful village full of beauty. The market is right across the cobblestone street. We went to the market daily to talk to the townspeople and get the freshest of foods. We had the world’s best pizza our first night. We made our breakfast every morning with fresh espresso. We were able to enjoy the area, as well as tour around other locations. We fell in love with the location.
