We a group of 6 friends stayed here for two days and the stay here was amazing, the staff was super friendly and the locality was very peaceful. Mall road, old bus stand and railway station was less than 3km away from the property. The room was pretty big and clean, same with the bathroom where hot water was available 24×7. They also had a cafe on the ground floor with good food and beverages at affordable prices. They also have bike and scooter rental service which one can access easily.

I could not rate Priyanka's place highly enough. The location is stunning, with beautiful mountain village views. It's ideally situated just a short walk from the main bus station. The place is clean, cozy, and instantly feels like home. The home-cooked food is delicious. In every aspect, this stay excels. What truly makes it special, however, is Priyanka herself. She is a kind, helpful, and considerate host who takes joy in sharing her home and insights about life and Indian culture with you.

The place was really nice and the view from the room was absolutely perfect as you can see the entire Mall Road from there. One big plus is that Jakhu Temple is just 1.2 km away, which makes it easy to visit. The terrace is very spacious and offers beautiful views of the main areas like Mall Road and The Ridge, especially at night when everything is lit up. However, do keep in mind that you have to walk quite a bit to reach the homestay. The road is a steep uphill climb, which can be tiring. Also, cabs don’t go directly to Mall Road, and even if you hire one, they’ll charge extra and you’ll still have to walk a bit since the homestay isn’t right by the roadside. Overall, it’s a great place if you don’t mind a bit of a walk then the views and peaceful surroundings are worth it!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Panita's homestay. Every corner of the house reflected thoughtful attention to detail, making it feel both welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. What stood out, however, was the peaceful atmosphere. Tucked away from the noise and bustle, the property offered a perfect spot for rest and relaxation. The staff, Mohan and Lakshmi were exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Panita and Manu are great hosts, very good in their communication and gave us some good local recommendations as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent service.
