Nous avons séjourné dans la villa hercule pendant 5 jours et tout était parfait. La maison est magnifique et extrêmement propre. Tout est bien pensé, les hôtes ont su nous accueillir avec des petites attentions qui ont tout son importance. Le logement est extra ment bien situé proche de Rethymno 15min. Le logement est calme et agréable. L’extérieur est très bien entretenu. Nous recommandons si vous souhaitez des vacances reussi c’est le lieu qu’il vous faut ! Merci pour cette superbe expérience

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Thank you!!

Adamantios is a wonderful host. The villa is beautiful and exactly as described in the photos. We were made to feel welcome straight away woth homemade cake and olive oil as well as other bits. Adamantios was quick to respond to any questions we had and jumped to our rescue when our rental car battery died! The villa is t really walking distance to anywhere so my top recommendation would be to get a rental car with good AC! There are very few places around the area to park in the shade so if you have rubbish AC like we did, the journeys can be stressful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a bit of space from the business of local areas and wanting to switch off at the gorgeous pool!

Het appartement is enorm fijn. Lekkere bedden, mooie locatie en leuk zwembad. De kamer was erg mooi en ruim. Badkamer iets kleiner maar daar hebben we ons totaal niet aan gestoord. Het is heel fijn dat je niet direct aan de weg zit, je hebt echt een kleine oase. Het was wel een beetje moeilijk om de receptie en parkeerplaats te vinden. Na de instructies van Maria was dat wel gelijk duidelijk. Maar we hebben wel een beetje rondjes gereden in het begin. Daarnaast is het water twee keer weggevallen tijdens het verblijf (dit werd wel altijd vrijwel direct opgelost, dus hebben we geen problemen aan gehad). Het balkon zit in de ochtend volledig in de zon dus dit kan wel warm zijn. Alles zit verder op loopafstand dus de locatie is top. binnen 30 min lopen ben je in het oude centrum. Maar op 2 min lopen heb je al een supermarkt en genoeg tavernas. Dus echt een top locatie, fijne kamer en ook heel fijn contact met Maria!

Our stay at this house was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The outdoor area was a real highlight – perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing, or enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere of the house made us feel immediately at home. Stavros was a wonderful host. He welcomed us personally with a short tour of the house during check-in and gave us many helpful local tips. On top of that, he generously provided us with fresh fruit and other essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Amazing place they have literally thought of everything! Fantastic place. Thoroughly recommend!

Nous avons séjourné que 2 nuits chez Karl mais nous serions restés bien plus si nous avions eu l’occasion. Tout est mis à disposition pour se sentir comme à la maison. (Machine à laver, barbecue, parasol…) Karl est très sympathique et séjourner chez lui est très agréable , à 3mn à pied du centre ville à 10mn à pied de la plage. La chambre est propre et idéalement située. Ambiance auberge de jeunesse tout en ayant son propre espace privé/intimité. Je recommande fortement.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad op Kreta! Het weer was helaas minder, maar Theodoulos heeft dit met zijn warme welkom, tips en attenties absoluut goedgemaakt! Hij heeft ons verwend met o.a. lekkere loquats uit eigen tuin, wijn, heerlijke dolmades (gemaakt door zijn moeder met wijnbladeren uit de tuin van het appartement). Daarnaast kwam hij regelmatig aanzetten met snoepgoed voor de kinderen, wat zij natuurlijk prachtig vonden. Het appartement zelf is precies zoals op de foto's. Het is een fijne uitvalsbasis dichtbij het strand en lekkere restaurantjes in de straat en op de boulevard. Een klein minpunt was het gebrek aan een eetruimte binnen, we konden namelijk helaas niet in de tuin zitten vanwege het weer. Verder was het voor ons bij aankomst niet helemaal duidelijk waar we konden parkeren, maar er blijkt een parkeerplek gereserveerd te zijn. Dit kwam Theodoulos ons gelukkig snel vertellen. Al met al een fijne ervaring en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar (maar dan met beter weer)!
