Holiday rentals in Prantik

It was a great place to stay in. The area is just walkable distance from Prantik station. The caretaker was very active and helpful in every way, takes care of the cleanliness every now and then, also very punctual. The surrounding was very calm and peaceful which was a A+ from my end.

It was a splendid stay with lots of great memories to be cherished for years to come Superbly maintained house with all possible amenities in a lush green atmosphere with a huge garden Special mention about the hospitality of the caretaker couple with an ever smiling face and sumptuous culinary expertise Kudos to Saibal Babu for his such a beautiful offering which can always be treated as a second home worth visiting over and over again

Your local recommendations were also spot on and helped us to enjoy the trip even better. Though the location is a bit secluded but the property was clean and homely with all the listed amenities.

It was really an outstanding, comfortable stay. Homely atmosphere in a peaceful location. It is situated just beside the camellia hotel and 5 mins walking distance from Prantik Railway Station (nearly 500 meter). Whatever images are given at airbnb for this Homestay and in original there is massive difference. Originally the interior decorations, lightings, false ceiling, rooms ambiance etc are just awesome. Basically it is a 2bhk flat with 2 rooms, dining cum living room with open kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies. TV, microwave oven, geyser, electric kettle, induction cooktop, 3 mosquito repellents, 8 pillows, enough blankets, extra bedsheets, 2 wardrobes, dining chair table, lots of utensils were kept inside the flat. Each corner to corner of this flat is very neat and clean. Lastly the owner Sanchita Banerjee is a very helpful and quick responsive lady. I have requested how I can boil milk, she has arranged a new induction cooktop for us immediately. I am grateful to her. Thank you

Mr. and Mrs. Sengupta have been the best hosts throughout my Airbnb journey so far. Right from being welcoming to feeding us like we were their own kids, it felt like we were home. Their inclination, fondness, and patronage for the arts, and artists, felt like such a breath of fresh air. They went out of their way to ensure my wife and I are able to see a lot more of Shantiniketan than was promised by the place. The house is breathtakingly beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. I'm already making plans to visit the Senguptas again, and hopefully for longer this time, so that we truly get to immerse ourselves in their magical haven.

Positives 1. The property is very well maintained, serene and peaceful, a perfect weekend getaway 2. I loved the individual choices of a few items in the room, specially the first floor of Villa 1 3. Accessibility is brilliant with ample car parking facility and very spacious 4. My family and my pet enjoyed thoroughly walking on the grass lawn 5. Generator and power back up was quite nice Possible things to improve 1. While I understand the rationale of employing natives it is pertinent they understand Bengali quite clearly. 2. There was no TV in either of the rooms in Villa 1 3. Flexibility ( may be due to seasonality ) was quite low on the food menu 4. An Intercom facility would be great to have considering the charges.

The description was accurate. The access road is a bit narrow and uneven and the gate is 10ft wide. But as we had a small car, which we drive around widely, we had no difficulty in getting into and out of this place. It is serene. At night, you can hear the train passing by. The garden is beautiful. The house is very simple, unlike its more fancy neighbours. That's what makes it more likeable. There is greenery all around. You can wake up to the sound of birds and take a walk in the countryside. Do carry slippers for the house and do carry a torch along with your books. You may request food delivery if you don't want to step out.
