Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

Overall the place was great. It's a beautiful walk along the esplanade next to the ocean into the middle of town. Only about 2km. The bathrooms and kitchen are fully updated but the house feels and looks like a 100 year old queenslander, beautiful A couple of minor issues that could bother some people, the airport is nearby and there is some noise, airplanes stop taking off around 22:00 and start again at 6:00. Some of the ceiling fans seem to have bearing problems and make some noise. Overall this house fully deserves a 5 star rating!

Our 2nd time back. A home away from home. You want for anything as it has it all. The local restaurants are awesome. Noa cafe for brekky and coffee. Guerrilla Mexican next level good! Haruka for Japanese style and Teddy's for your takeaway coffees. Don't forget Edge Hill Butchery for the best meat in Cairns. Seriously it's a great house in a good neighborhood with a nice High Street. We will be back

Great place for our family. Lots of spaces for everyone to spread out and not feel over crowded. A very clean and tidy home with lots of character. Beautiful walks through the Botanical gardens nearby and only a short drive into the city. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

The house exterior may look like typical home but inside is filled with well equipped kitchen, play/leisure equipment & cozy comfortable living room. The house can be spilt into private 2 units which give more options for 2 families. Walking distance to lake. The nearest restaurant/grocery is 15-20 min drive away. Overall enjoyed the 3 nights stay with a family of 7.

Beautiful home and in a gorgeous area!! If your about that town life you might be best to look at a location closer to the city as we had troubles getting Ubers as they didn’t wanna drive that far out. Other than that the home is absolutely stunning and just around the corner is the crystal cascades which is definitely something to see !!!

What a wonderful place this is! We were warmly welcomed by Margaret and their friendly dog. We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every day there. The place is very spacious, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the beds were also comfortable. We had a hire car, so that made it very easy to move around, and the location is very handy, close to local shops, to Cairns CBD and the nearby highway takes you wherever and whichever way you want to go. We enjoyed the visits from two bush turkeys as they passed the bungalow every morning. Really lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed Antje’s place- it was easy to access, great location with restaurants and shopping close by and had everything we needed in the apartment. We enjoyed exploring the area’s restaurants and shopping. Also, the rooftop pool/hit tub was great. We loved the view from the balcony also. Great stay in Cairns!

Very central location and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the security of having a car park undercover & locked up. We also enjoyed the large balcony. Any problems were solved very quickly & Shirley was a delight to deal with. On arrival in a new town & with a hire car the instructions for finding the key wasn’t very clear. After driving around the block because we missed it, we stumbled upon it at the car park entrance. All other instructions were spot on & clear. Great place to stay.

Place was clean, cosy and eveything as described. Great location as it was it is close to the airport.

Liz and Zak are super welcoming and their place is comfortable and peaceful. I loved the little outdoor area and the all the tropical plants. Quiet area of Cairns with Botanical gardens and great cafes and shops just down the road! Thank you Liz and Zak, I hope to stay again one day.

Clean and spacious apartment with plenty of provisions for cooking and laundry. I liked the outdoor BBQ grill! Just be mindful that you need to climb 2 flight of stairs to get to the apartment. I wished I knew this before I arrived because I struggled with the heavy luggages.

Rosa’s apartment is perfect for a stay n Cairns. The location, a short walk from the center of Cairns, is also adjacent to the marina with boats heading out to the Great Barrier Reef. Rosa’s apartment is spotlessly clean, uncluttered, & completely equipped in the kitchen.

Anne provided a great unit to stay in, very bright and good views of the mountains and sunset! Very comfortable bed, unit was very clean and comfortable! Would definitely recommend.

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

I had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s apartment at 201 Lake Street, Cairns. The place was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing visit. It had everything I needed for a great stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The building also had a pool and secure parking, which were great bonuses. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Esplanade, restaurants, shops, and the marina. Andrea was very easy to deal with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.

What an amazing place - so suited to the tropical North. Plenty of room inside and well laid out and spotlessly clean. A bit of a walk into town or just a AUD5 taxi ride if the heat makes you feel lazy. Highly recommended!

Great stay right in the heart of Palm Cove. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. The unit was VERY clean. The spa on the balcony makes it perfect for a couples retreat. It's a bit further back from the pool area which makes it more private. All the little things mattered too..like gym towels, coffee pods, tennis rackets etc. We will definitely stay here again. Andrew’s apartment is amazing, and a great find. It is furnished modern and extremely clean, and has lots thoughtful extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Any communications we had with Andrew were responded by him promptly. The location is quiet, yet very close to amenities. We would highly recommend this property, and certainly will look to rebook when we are back in Cairns.
