Waterfront holiday rentals in Porto da Barra Beach

Great apartment, very well located, clean and with a charming decoration. The hostess took the initiative to pass all the necessary guidelines for a great stay. In addition, the apartment is very close to the beach Porto da Bar (the best for bathing), a great waterfront for walking and having access to other sights. The fact that the apartment is underground does not interfere at all, since in a place like Salvador little time is spent in the apartment. It has two bathrooms, which makes it much easier in a group trip as was my case. The ceiling fan of one of the rooms served us well and the backup fan too. We feel welcome and recommend the location. The apartment is fully equipped, clean and exceeds the expectations of the photos! Wonderful views for the fort, beach and sunset. A great location, close to all trades. Of all my stays in Salvador I considered the best Ap! I will return more often.🖤

The space is simply spectacular, everything very well designed, organized, an incredible finish and organization, certainly one of the best spaces I have ever stayed in! Certainly when I return to Salvador it will be a place we will stay again, everything very close, beach, markets, bakeries, bars! I highly recommend it, I really felt at home!

Luiz is very professional and showed flexibility when I needed something. the apartment itself has everything you need and has a wonderful view. it's modern and has an equipped kitchen and a smart tv (that I didn't even turn on). it was spotless clean when I arrived and is in a neighborhood where you'll find everything you need, restaurants, supermarkets and obviously the beach which is literally down the building. The only thing that could bother some people is that it's right on Barra's beach, which is usually busy so it wont be quiet, especially on weekends. If you are like me and enjoy sleeping in a dark room, there is a black out curtain but unfortunately in the angles theoght can sneak in so there will be some light in the room every morning. I'm mentioning this out of transparency but Luiz is an outstanding host. he has other properties that can also be suitable depending on your preferences.

My stay was great. I traveled with my mother and we loved the space and all the service we received. I highly recommend it and intend to return soon! Great location, incredible view and impeccable property.

It's not my first time, and it certainly won't be the last time I stay with Aluísio. It's my favorite place in Salvador. The apartment is functional, well organized, has everything you might need for a few days or many. I highly recommend it!

I would recommend this condo for a younger or older group. Very close to the top places to visit. Central spot to visit all the highlights of Salvador and close to beach and the lighthouse. The views are also wonderful from both rooms. Only limits were second bedroom was very small but just enough for couple or 1 person but definitely not big enough for 2 adults sleeping in seperate beds. Also, the area around the condo isn't the best but on par with most of Salvador. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was wonderful and easy to access and explore Bahia. Lots of local options for restaurants and shopping! Would absolutely stay again.

I was very well received. Accommodation in a great location, close to everything for those who don't mind comfort and climbing stairs. Very close to the beach and the university. Sylvia is super nice and responds quickly. I really enjoyed the 2 weeks I stayed

We had an excellent stay. The place is as shown in the photos: comfortable, clean and with a beautiful view. Zaza was very kind and was always attentive to what we needed. Definitely a place we'd love to come back to. Thank you for everything!

The village is in a condominium close to the beach. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with everything we need during our stay. The three bedrooms are air-conditioned and very comfortable mattresses. Host Antônio is very kind and helpful, quickly responded to all of our messages. Anyway, highly recommend hosting!

Our stay was excellent. Hosts demonstrated agility when responding to messages. The place was close to the beach so you can have a quiet walk to itapuã beach. The site was clean and was totally in line with the descriptions of the photos. Excellent and patient accommodation.

If you are looking for a safe, community- focused place as a base for your visit to Salvador then this is perfect. Friendly neighbours, lovely setting in a secure community area with a pool and a wonderful host near by. With easy access to the newly developed waterfront, beaches and restaurants it's a great place to experience life in Salvador as an international visitor to this amazing, interesting and vibrant city. The accommodation is basic but functional and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Milena for being such a great host.

The stay with Carlos was excellent! He always proved very communicative and willing to help. The house is the same as the photos, very wide and very close to the beach (about 2 min walking). The place is peaceful great to rest! Carlos gave great recommendations of markets and places for lunch. The beach is very quiet, crystal clear and without waves besides having stalls on the beach. At Camino da Praia we find a very fun and cool karaoke bar! Great stay, I will return again when possible!

This space is a paradise! There’s so much natural light, breeze, and the best part is that you are walking distance to multiple beaches. There are also a number of amazing restaurants near by. Moreover there are stores and pharmacies near by as well in case you need to restock anything. Next time I visit Salvador, I hope to stay here again.

what a wonderful experience!!! the house is perfect, very wide with new and quality furniture and utensils. a lot of privacy. the noise of the fountains makes the night even more pleasant to sleep. very close to itapuã beach, which is a delight, very warm sea and without waves. great restaurants nearby. iris and its employees are of unparalleled education and helpfulness! staying in this house left the trip to Salvador much better

Well, I have no words to describe how at home I felt, José was perfectly receptive, attentive and helped me with any questions I had. If you're thinking of going to Bahia, you NEED to stay in this apartment, I'm writing this review with a heavy heart for not being there anymore, it's simply perfect. Thank you José and thank you to everyone who made my stay in Salvador better, you were amazing.

Nice place, comfortable, spacious, good location. There are night clubs nearby, you can hear the music from the apartment.

Yannick is an amazing and very kind host. The reception of the guests, arrival and location of the apartment was all very easy and quiet. The apartment is undoubtedly what is seen in the photos: fully renovated, complete, with new appliances and furniture, linen and clean towels, 2 minutes from one of the best savior beaches and with everything close by - market, bakery, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and winery!

Great location, the apartment is exactly as described in the images. Outside that Anderson is super receptive and polite. We loved the place.

Grácil is very kind, attentive and helpful, she answered everything promptly and in a welcoming manner. I felt at home during my stay with my father, who made everything lighter both by the space, the surroundings with several options of supermarkets, shopping, restaurants and bars, and the beautiful sunset of the bar. Close to tourist spots and museums, making it easy to get around on foot, which is very safe. I suggest going to the Restaurante Recôncavo Regional to eat a Bahian moqueca. The condominium is great and the clean and fragrant space has all the utensils, cozy and comfortable rooms, well ventilated and spacious with beautiful art by Van Gogh, Tarsila de Amaral, Monet, Edvard Munch and Kandinsky and the work of Grácil and travel memories that make the atmosphere even more poetic. A space by Grácil with Solange's touch is a true refuge that I recommend and intend to return to. Graceful Gratitude!

I spent 4 days with my wife in this little piece of paradise. WHAT A FANTASTIC PLACE!! The apartment is outrageously beautiful and cozy. The view is a spectacle in itself, a panoramic apartment by the sea, in all the rooms it seems that you are practically in the water, without words! The location is fantastic too, close to everything that's good in Salvador! PERFECT! We'll be back soon. Thank you very much!

Bruno's accommodation is wonderful! The view of the sea is priceless. The apartment is very well equipped, has towels, hair dryer, drinking water, air fryer and various kitchen utensils. The place is very safe and very quiet. It is close to good restaurants in the Rio Vermelho neighborhood and only 2 km from the famous Salvador lighthouse. There are Itaú bikes and scooters available near the apartment, as well as a bike path along the entire length of the waterfront. Great value for money and Bruno was an amazing host, very helpful and polite. We recommend it!

It's the 4th time I've been to Salvador, if you're in doubt, you have to stop in Barra. Especially this apartment, it was just in the middle between Porto da Barra (for me, the beach to always go to) and the Farol. We had horrible weather, rain and wind, however, thanks to the apartment we had a great time since we had all the views. The apartment is just like the photos, it has everything you need. I would definitely come back! We arrived at 3 am and it was not a problem paying the day before. We paid 6 usd for 4 days approximately. Don't even think about it, it's beautiful. I just thought the shower was cold for the weather we had, but it's something that happens in all of Salvador. We had bad luck with the weather, but it was compensated by the place!
