Family-friendly holiday rentals in Portland Parish

Denzil is a great host and this was a great home to stay in during our time in Ocho Rios. Home is spacious, clean and comfortable. And the outdoor patio areas are amazing with beautiful views. Denzil was a thoughtful host and made sure we were okay during our stay. The water shut off briefly, Then but was fixed within an hour or two. Other than that, excellent stay, would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Ocho Rios.

My family and I came for a two day stay. Staying here exceed my ourexpectations. the property was truly amazing. The staff (Denny, Keith, and Karen) were awesome and made you feel at home. They answered all of our questions and provided superb service. Denny's cooking was awesome! I also liked the fact that it was a short walk from Frenchman's cove beach and a short drive from Blue Lagoon and Boston beach. This stay was a 11 out of 10 and we will be back again. I highly recommend!

A nice, clean apartment, great location. Glory responds quickly to any queries and checks in frequently to ensure guests are comfortable.

Our stay at Patrick’s place was amazing! The house is huge and beautiful. A worker there named Clive was exceptionally helpful and kind as well as the other employees at the home. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The house was very very clean. There so much space to relax. The pool is also huge and beautiful. Great for pictures. Beautiful balcony on the third floor. They even had games for us to play as well as a pool table and a large chess game. Even people in the neighborhood were friendly. It’s a very scenic environment. I would recommend anyone to stay at Patrick’s property when visiting this area. Patrick wasn’t on site but his communication was amazing and prompt. He responded everytime we reached out and responded very quickly. He even had someone meet us to find the house. We also had multiple people we could contact Incase of any questions or issues. We had our own personal issue before coming and Patrick was even able to accommodate us. We really appreciated that. I’d give this stay 5 stars. The only thing I suggest is if your renting a car to make sure it has good tires as the road is a little rough but any car driving at a slow speed would be fine. The house is definitely worth the trip.

the place is so clean as you pull the door you can get the nice clean smell hit you. looks just like the picture I got nothing to complain about the host is the best she keep on top of things. and bless up the rasta man as a clean and soft heart no complaining 10 star ⭐ in my book keep it up bless. and thanks to the host again make sure I reach home self blessings.

This was actually my second stay at Sunita’s place but I forgot to leave my first review within the 14 days so this review covers both stays. First off, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Sunita’s place. It’s exactly as described: comfortable, cozy, and most importantly, very clean throughout. The kitchen was quite well equipped, and the complimentary water in the fridge was welcomed. And yes, the views are stunning, and moreso at night. It’s in a beautiful quiet residential location, and shops and local amenities are within easy reach. Sunita is a very responsive host, and her brother Sunil who manages the listing is also very helpful and friendly, as is his family who reside next door, so I felt safe having them so close by. I especially appreciate that they accepted and welcomed my little dog! I would definitely stay at Sunita’s place again and would recommend to other’s without hesitation. Thank you for being great hosts - and for the mangoes!

The place was beautiful! It was like a hut attatched to a big house, but still felt very private. The flat was well equiped with everything you need, with a nice private kitchen and bathroom. The garden and the porch was rally great. Thank you so much Lars and Antoniette for the stay. We enjoyed it a lot.

this was my 2 time, good place to stay with a beautiful garden, in a quite area.. Belinda she great I would recommend anyone to stay at Belinda house. The location is good with 5 minutes away to the Devon house and to everything you need, like plazas and shopping areas

Donna was the best host I’ve ever had! She is so welcoming, friendly, and truly wants to make your stay perfect! She took the time to drive me around town, made sure I had everything I needed, and was so fun to talk too. It’s a peaceful location. You can’t get any closer to the ocean than her house!! Bob Marley beach is a short drive down the road and an awesome experience. Thank you Donna!!

This is our second consecutive 3 month visit to this property. David is an amazing host! The location is unbeatable. A very short walk to Ocho Rios Bay Beach. Everything that you need is within walking distance. This includes grocery stores, restaurants, ATM's, etc. Margaritaville is directly across the street in a complex that has a number of restaurants, gift shops, tour operators, etc. We will definitely be returning to this property for another long term stay! Marlene was wonderful and accommodating! The place is beautiful inside and out and big! The view alone will make you want to stay forever! It is peaceful, private and quiet, like home away from home.. but better, and kid friendly! Price is reasonable for sure! Its alot of good for the price! I will 100% be back!

DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE... Only because I want it to always be available for myself!!! In all seriousness, I'm a filmmaker, which has me in air bnb's more than my own house, and Daryl's spot on Norbrook is the best bnb experience I've ever had! The house is great. It's just as shown in the description and plenty of space to free up and relax. The place is clean and the ac units crank! I loved chilling out on the back veranda surround by Mango trees and good vibes. The family downstairs is my family now. With completely seperate entrances to the seperate apartment they gave the perfect balance between privacy and presence. You're in one of the nicest neighborhoods in kingston and in walking distance to manor park. I'll definitely be here again on my next trip

Great place in an excellent location. Will definitely stay there again. Checkin was a little confusing, the office is in the front but there are no signs pointing it out or instructions stating to go there. But that’s our only complaint. Stay was great and the on-site Otaheiti apple tree was a plus.

Helena's place was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. We took the entire place, but realize we only needed the upstairs suite after all. Located directly across from the Blue Lagoon's new official entrance gate and centrally located in Portland Parish, everything is within reach. amazing views all around, but breakfast on the patio facing the ocean was hard to beat. Miss Joyce's cooking, however, was the real highlight of our stay. She and Trina did an amazing job making us feel welcome and shared their traditional cuisine. The groundskeeper, Jullian, was excellent at coordinating activities during our visit. We had a truly amazing stay at Star San and hoping to be back one day.

My daughter and I arrived in the afternoon and was greeted by Colleeno and Abijah, and their 3 children Akeeba 8, Ashira 11, and Asher 1.5. We became instant family. I had very little expectations of this type of bond. I was just hoping the hosts would be responsive and helpful when needed. I didn’t expect to find a brother during the trip, but that’s what Abijah was. They served our every need. We stayed up and looked at the stars and talked about life. They have many fruit trees on the property that they shared with us. The place is beautiful and surrounded by plants that Abijah cares for like they are his own children. The children were a joy and were so bright and full of energy. Akeeba and my daughter became sisters instantly. My daughter bonded with all of the children and Colleeno cared for them when I needed to run errands. This was such a major help for me as well as a joy for my daughter. After 2 weeks, we were very sad to leave our family. We will be returning next year.

This is an great little country oasis in the hills of portland. Quiet and private.

If it's for you, it's for you...Norse Hill was definitely for us. Beautiful property. The staff was the heart of his operation, Sudan and her team could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommended to the advanced and respectful Jamaican vacationer.

I had heard of Shotover Gardens before and had my eye on a visit for a long time, so I was pleased when my visit turned out to be just as lovely as I expected. Even though it was only a short stay, Derick was an excellent host with great communication and spot-on directions. I was only there for a one day stay, but I still found the time to enjoy the lovely lawns and the swimming pool. The road to get to Shotover is a little rough in some parts but a car can make it if you drive carefully and take your time. An SUV will have no problems at all. If you are in doubt, Derick's transport rate from Port Antonio is extremely reasonable and can be utilised.

Michelle was extremely communicative and helpful. She even helped us facilitate ordering dinner for pick up on our drive to the property from the airport, as it took us longer than expected. Jacqui the property manager gave us great local recommendations and Deenwright and Patrice were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The kids enjoyed the pool and backyard amenities and the space was very private. The location was great as we were able to explore Frenchman’s cove, Blue lagoon, Winnifred beach, and Somerset Falls. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a more local experience than a hotel.

The open air floor plan was great ad the staff was attentive. Good value and the perfect spot for my elderly parents and young children to vacation together.
