Cottage holiday rentals in Port Renfrew

This was one of the best Air BnB’s I have stayed at. The cottage itself was more beautiful than in the photos. It had one of the best stocked kitchens I have had in an air bnb. Becky was lovely and very helpful and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and look forward to coming back myself.

The little cabin remains an absolute treasure. I first came here 17 years ago and it remains as wonderful as ever, impeccably cared for and very private. The view from the deck is breathtaking and the hammocks are a special treat!

Carol’s place was AMAZING! The kitchen had everything needed to make meals for dining in, which we did a lot of because THAT VIEW!! We didn’t want to leave, just wanted to sit and watch for marine life. We saw seals, dolphins, eagles, and a family of 6 sea otters playing. When the evening started to cool we moved our binoculars to the hot tub to continue enjoying the views and serenity. My family agreed the beds were comfy and we all slept well. If you are looking for a go go go vacay Pender Island is not your place. If you want easy hikes in gorgeous surroundings, peace that reaches your very core, and super friendly people I definitely recommend Pender Island! The didc golf course has discs for public use and was really fun! Driftwood shopping center has all you will need. We recommend Sea Star Winery and a stop at Bee Wild distillery for tastings. We HIGHLY recommend Carol’s place!

Had such a great stay celebrating my mom’s birthday. Very peaceful area and the space was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for a nice staycation! Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to find some relaxation.

Leah’s cabin was a perfect place for our mother-daughter getaway. The cabin was beautifully designed, very comfortable, and had some lovely and unique amenities like the wood stove! The surrounding grounds were very scenic and the lake was easily accessible. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone travelling to salt spring and are eager to come back ourselves. This Kinsol cottage is well worth the price, and is entirely private, unlike most Airbnb rentals in Vancouver Island, which are suites in someone’s house. It was clean and well designed. As an avid Airbnb booker I really appreciated that Liz had all the condiments and spices you would need for a trip away from home. The backyard is peaceful and we had no neighbours while we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub and the sound of the birds, we even had an owl land in the yard. The bedroom loft has steep stairs, which is noted in Liz’s description, you should go down them sideways (we were fine, but probably not suitable for elderly). The bed was firm yet very comfortable and the reclining loveseat had us falling asleep every night. One hour to Victoria, one hour to Nanaimo, 1 3/4 hour to Port Renfrew (if you take the Pacific Marine route be prepared for a very very windy road). Kinsol trestle was a 10 minute walk away and an amazing hike. Would I recommend Liz’s cottage, absolutely!!

The little house on Pender was perfect for our stay. Rode our bikes on to the ferry and rode all around the island. Played disc golf and had some amazing food too. Thanks Bettyanne. The hot tub was a nice treat after riding all the hills on pender.

Coastal Cottage was idyllic for my husband's birthday retreat. It was close to hiking, walking trails, the ocean, Ayum Creek Park, the Stickleback Pub & Sooke Oceanside Brewery; we were able to park our vehicle and thoroughly enjoy the area on foot! The cabin was so cute, cozy & well-stocked. The bed was comfortable. The private hot tub was a definite highlight for us. It was a peaceful, relaxing getaway, and exactly what we were hoping it would be! Kimberly was a super friendly, kind and responsive host! Thanks so much for hosting us! 🤗

Really lovely stay! Jen gave us clear instructions when checking in and was responsive to my questions. All the rooms were well equipped with the amenities listed. Jen also provided supplies for smores and some mineral water for us! The only downside for us was that it was warm when we got there in June, but it did cool off quickly in the evening.

This might be the first time I give 5 stars for an airbnb and it is absolutely well deserved. Julie and Johns place was beautiful, clean, quiet, and peaceful. The privacy and natural setting was well worth the price. The hosts were very thoughtful and had the placed stocked with all that you would need for a comfortable stay. The tall trees, sounds of birds, and animal sightings (eagles and deer) made it hard to want to leave! We truly loved our stay!

This place had it all: beautiful scenery, great amenities, clear instructions, and a short drive to dozens of amazing locations in the area. It was the perfect and peaceful place to unwind after a busy week, and we’d love to come back again some day!

We had a wonderful stay at Louise’s Cottage! very clean, comfortable bed, wood burning stove and thoughtful little welcome note. Home surrounded by greenery and only a short driving distance to town.

Richard and Rebecca's place was a peaceful oasis well off the main highway in Sooke. We loved seeing the chickens, deer and the cottontails. The place was impeccably clean and well designed.

We've stayed at Lynda's place a few times now, even trying another spot run by someone else in the same location, and end up coming back to Lynda's because it just can't compare! There is attention to detail, focus on making her place feel at home, and welcoming with the communication and local recommendations. Port Renfrew is such a beautiful place to visit, I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

Cozy stay :) Jason gave us a heads up that the power in the town was out several hours before our arrival and provided us with updates every hour. He gave us the opportunity to change our plans if needed. We are happy we ended up deciding to still come because the power came back very shortly after arriving. The house heated back up quickly and we had a wonderful time going to some of the places Jason recommended.

We had a fantastic week's stay in Susanne's amazing cabin. The cabin is modern and well-appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The setting is idyllic, on a large treed property with incredible views. We enjoyed being able to walk many places including the great access to the beach. Susanne was extremely accommodating and helpful - we highly recommend her cabin for a quiet, comfortable stay on Pender Island.

If you’re seeking a cozy and charming place nestled in the heart of the lake, this is the perfect spot for you. With ample dock space, it’s an ideal location for grilling and relaxing on the lake. The convenience of having paddleboards and kayaks available was a great amenity that we thoroughly enjoyed using. The comfortable beds make it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the lake.

Flavia and jim have an amazing piece of land, and make you feel right at home. We were free to explore the property. Hardest decision was which part we to hang out at next as there are so many options! They were very kind and even invited us to watch the last flight of a WW2 bomber with them and their friends. The nest was a great little spot with beautiful views and was very clean. I would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone.
