We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. The location was beautiful—surrounded by nature, peaceful, and very private. It was just what we needed to unwind and take a break. The quiet setting made it easy to relax, and we felt right at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a lovely natural spot.

This was our second time staying at Jamie’s cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is such a beautiful location and the cottage is warm and cozy with the amazing fireplace. It was a perfect spot to watch all the snow fall gently out the big windows, looking out over the river. So peaceful! We ended up having to leave early and it made us all so sad, especially our kids, so we’ve already mentally made plans to go back next winter. Jamie was super communicative and we really just enjoyed our time so much.

We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

We had such a lovely stay at Cassey’s cottage! It was the perfect escape from the city!! Peaceful, charming, and beautifully set up. Just a short 6-minute drive to LCS, which was ideal for our Home of the Grove visit. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Penny’s beautiful home! The house is warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable and relaxed. The kitchen was very well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, which made preparing our own meals simple and convenient. Penny is a truly exceptional host—responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! This was one of the best hosting experiences we’ve had, and we would gladly return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone considering a stay!

We stayed for my wife’s 30th birthday celebration. Alex was extremely flexible with an early check in to facilitate setting up decorations prior to her arrival. He was fast to respond and very helpful with any issues we had. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. I don’t think the pictures did this place justice, the view from the backyard was incredible.

Accommodation was exactly as shown and described with added squirrels and chipmunks dashing around outside! Fab place in a fab location, close to a fab freshwater lake and fab bar at the end of the road.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. Our stay at Bala’s place was a fantastic experience. We were a group of 8 including 4 tween aged children. The cottage is very well located , close to Port Perry and around 45 min to Peterborough. Lots of places to visit within the Trent Severn Waterway area. Bala graciously allow us an early check-in. His place is very cute, neat, super clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals and to entertain both children and adults alike. The game room is a great addition to the cottage. Walking distance to Lake Scugog, we were able to have nice walks after a delicious BBQ dinner. The deck and the fire pit allowed us to share quality family time while enjoying nature at its best. Thank you Bala for such a warm welcome with popcorn and soda !!. We appreciated very much your always friendly and promptly response to our needs. I will definitely recommend anyone to have a great and relaxing experience at your cottage. It is worth it !

Great place for large family

We had an amazing time at this spot. The instructions were clear and there were plenty of amenities to keep us all entertained. Highly recommend!

Had a great time at this beautiful house. Very easy to find and the check in was super simple. The house was spacious with a big kitchen. Lots of cookware for a longer stay or some cooking during the stay. The host also posted instructions throughout the house - very thoughtful! The basement was a bit cold but the host provided two portable heaters. Kayaks and canoes are provided with an easily accessible dock. Will definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed at Ashley’s cottage for three weeks during home renovations and had such a great experience! The place was so clean and beautiful, it genuinely felt like home to us. Ashley went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We couldn’t ask for a better host!

The host was very responsive and answers all our questions well. The self-checkin instruction was very clear. We also had an early check-in at 12 PM, which was very convenient for our trip. The place has a great view and very stylish furnitures. We enjoyed the dock and sitting near the campfire.

What a great place! We had 11 people. 6 adults and 5 children. There were beds for everyone and because the weather was crap (totally not Byron’s fault - LOL) we were inside most of the weekend. There was enough space and internet bandwidth to keep everyone happy and engaged! Everything was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! Hope to rent this next year for family fun weekend!

What a beautiful waterfront cottage! Navid has been very responsive and accommodating of every requests and the cottage was very clean and organized. The view was amazing and had everything you need!

This was our second time staying here with the kids over Victoria Day, and once again, it was perfect. The place has everything we needed and felt like home from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well-organized, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We loved the beautiful view, swimming in the lake, making s’mores, and enjoying quality time together. A beautiful and convenient spot for a great getaway — we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The weather didn't cooperate but the sauna and the comfy couch made it a great time!
