Great place to stay and was clean and tidy! Responsive and friendly host who helped with recommendations!

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

A lovely lodge in a small holiday park, the pool was an added bonus (outside and unheated but nice for a quick dip!)

Wow, what a place! Far enough away from it all to be peaceful but close enough to walk and explore many beautiful places. The annex is spotlessly clean, wonderfully equipped and situated perfectly with spectacular views across the fields. The pool was, as expected, amazing to come back to after a day out in the fresh air. We enjoyed dining on the terrace overlooking the countryside. Even on a rainy day it was beautiful. Christine and Roy are perfect hosts and really made our stay enjoyable. We usually don’t mind going home at the end of a week away, but we were really sad to leave Stonelands. Thanks for a perfect week on the Cornish coast!

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

Fantastic location on the doorstep of the centre of Port Isaac, a real home from home. Great range of options for eating out, or grab some freshly caught fish to cook at home. Can’t wait to visit again. Great host!

This is a lovely house. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. There is a ton of room to spread out. There are multiple sitting rooms. The furnishings are very nice. The kitchen well equipped. It is also nice having a yard and stream. Excellent location in the village. Parking is tricky but we managed. Excellent house!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We so enjoyed our stay at Butterchurn cottage. It was just as described and Louise was a great host.

This beautifully situated home in Port Isaac offered stunning views and comfortable accommodation. The early check-in arranged by Sara was a lovely touch, giving us extra time to enjoy the town. However, considering the premium price, we felt the property lacked some special touches. Additionally, the cleaner didn't fully prepare the home, resulting in a non-functional dishwasher, which Sara didn't rectify promptly despite notification. The hot water was also initially unavailable which we had thought as a matter of courtesy might have been good to have hot water on arrival for the guest. Despite these issues, we'd definitely recommend this property and would consider returning. With a bit more attention to detail, it could be an exceptional stay."

The road in and out of Golant takes nerves of steel. Just as well River Retreat is worth the drive. A beautiful, comfortable home with a fantastic view. It is beautifully decorated. Claire has an exceptional eye for detail. Everywhere I looked there was something of interest. Kitchen brilliantly equipped for meal prep. Another lovely week in Cornwall. Thank you Claire.

Lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful, comfortable house. Fantastic views over the estuary, which we enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the balcony. As expected for hilly Fowey, the walk back up from town is fairly steep, but still doable for the oldest member of our party. Although there is no parking outside the house, you can park to unload and load, then park in the car park, a short walk up the hill. It's cheaper to pay for the week's parking, rather than pay each day. In all a very enjoyable stay and we'd be delighted to re-visit if we didn't live so far away (in Scotland)

Thank you for a fabulous stay. Our first visit to Port Isaac, and we absolutely loved it and plan to return. The property was perfectly located. Right by the harbour, which was perfect for the children to explore the rock pools and for the grown ups to relax with a drink from the outside bar at The Mote, which overlooks the beach. Bliss!! Hope to visit again soon.

John and Tracy’s place is an absolute gem. The design and interior are stunning—full of style, warmth, and an eye for detail. Every corner shows John’s craftsmanship and love for quality materials. You can feel how much thought and care went into creating this space. The apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished, and perfectly equipped. Tracy and John were incredibly welcoming—fresh flowers, tea, shortbread, and milk in the fridge made us feel right at home. A truly special stay—we’d come back anytime!

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely rented house in Cornwall. The location was perfect — quiet, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. One of the standout features was the beautifully kept garden; it’s clear a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining it, and it added so much charm to the property. Inside, the house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in a stunning part of Cornwall!

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

Amazing stay at the nest. The house is fabulous, very new and extremely well designed, both in layout and decor.. The house has quite an industrial feel about it, being on the site of the old foundry - I loved the black and white framed photos of the local areas (I located the shop and treated myself to one of Charlestown) . Super clean (I already gave Dan my compliments to his cleaner) very modern bathrooms and kitchen, with all amenities.. I think I counted 3 TV's, very comfortable bed, and WIFI seemed super fast. I am very picky about the places that I stay at, and this exceeded expectations. Dan was a brilliant host... he allowed my a slightly later check out and answered all of my questions within minutes. Also the fact he allowed my dog to stay was a plus point - always tough to find high quality places that allow your pets. Charlestown itself is lovely, plenty of choice with restaurants and pubs, and numerous little shops to while away your time.. thanks Dan 10/10

We had a lovely few days at the cottage. The weather was great which allowed us to make full use of the garden and appreciate the many nesting birds. We even heard the cuckoos. It was all very relaxed, just what we needed. Also used some of Stephen’s many suggestions for local trips out. Thank you Stephen.

We had a wonderful stay at Boconnion in Cornwall! Henny was a fabulous host, warm, responsive and incredibly accommodating. On arrival, we were greeted with fresh scones and cream, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. The property is immaculate, a hidden gem tucked away in beautiful surroundings. Everything was spotless, spacious and luxurious, yet still felt incredibly comfortable and homely. Every request we had was met with ease and efficiency, making our stay feel seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend Boconnion more highly and are already looking forward to returning.

This place exceeded our expectations, beautifully furnished to a high standard. Had everything you needed there. Very homely, we really enjoyed.
