Holiday rentals in Port Alice

Lovely place to stay for a peaceful few days away. We were lucky to see the eagles so spent a lot of time on the veranda using the binoculars that are provided to spot them. Walking distance to a lovely little pub 'Gus pub' and the brew house is good too. Heather was fantastic to communicate and the home is gorgeous and clean and spacious. I would only say if you are a light sleeper to use the back twin room as you could hear a bit of noise from the neighbours upstairs in the front double room. But this place is fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great place with a beautiful view. Inside was clean and had all the amenities. Right on the water and secluded in the forest away from noise! One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve stayed at so far. Lorrene provided clear instructions on how to find the place along with local recommendations which made my stay easier. Will definitely stay here again if I come back next year!

This is a 5* Air B&B because there are so few reviews vs the number of comments in the visitor book the average has been artificially brought down. There are some old lower scoring reviews from 10+ years ago, place has been remodelled since then. One guest complained of spiders webs (this is deep in the country)! So so peaceful with wildlife such as deer and we got to see a hump back from the beach. The cottage is sympathetically decorated in keeping with its age and style. It is not a super modern Four Seasons - and all the better for it. Our host Lauren could not have been more helpful. Our ferry was delayed because of technical issues and Lauren not only kept us informed, she was extremely flexible about checking in. The freshly baked cookies on arrival were a very lovely touch. She was there if we needed anything but in no way intrusive - perfect host. If you seek peach and quiet in the middle of nature this is definitely the place for you - we loved it.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay when visiting Port McNeill. The suite is clean, bright, and welcoming, with spectacular ocean views. Kaileigh was very welcoming and responsive. This was the perfect home base for our North Island tour. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I can’t say enough how friendly and funny Denise and Don were throughout our stay. The property is absolutely stunning, and a real testament to Dons incredible wood working skills and Denise eye for details and art. If you want a warm, cosy beautiful stay, this is it. Everything was spotless from the bedding to the floors. Everything has even been hand built or brought for quality. Really nice touches throughout, from the very comfy bed to the excellent shower and every single beautiful hand crafted element. Just up the hill from the beautiful Telegraph Cove, perfect. Keep your cameras ready for bear friends! We missed them but it just shows how close to the wild locals the boat house lets you get. We can’t thank them both enough! Thank you for the great recommendation of the whale watching and the Alder Lake burger van! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Excellent accommodation. Clean, bright, comfortable. Just like being at home, it was perfect. Our host, Erin, met us and was very gracious and welcoming. I would throughly recommend this place to everyone. It was perfect. Thank you Erin !

Zoe’s place was a great space to spent a few nights while exploring the area. Rooms were as pictured and the kitchenette was well equipped. Sauna was a real treat after a day on the water. Storey’s Beach is just down the block and it’s an incredible place for a picnic, walk or just to relax. Only thing to note is that there is no soundproofing between upstairs and down so it could get a bit loud. Nothing that could or should be changed but just something to be aware of if that’s important to you

Eagle's Nest Cottage does it's name proud. It is a wonderful cottage, very comfortable and the bald eagle's flying around the property cannot be missed. The cottage is on an RV-park, but you hardly notice that due to it's location, which feels very private. The view is really amazing. You cannot predict wildlife, but we were lucky enough to see dolphins, orca's, a sea otter, seals and sea lions. And of course the bald eagle's. Highly recommend this cottage.
