Kate and Ali were very welcoming hosts with a fantastic decorative eye! The space is wonderful and the photos don’t give justice to the space or quirkiness which was right up our street. They were thoughtful with a welcome pack and provisions for us to be starting off with, especially the eggs! They were readily available with batteries when we needed them and provided lots of helpful input about the surrounding area. We loved the alpacas and the hens and were sad that we only spent time with Spiderman on our first day as he kept his distance thereafter. We really enjoyed the space which worked perfectly for our party, with access to a WC/bathroom on each level. Thanks again, Kate and Ali

We had the most wonderful week at the Rocket House. James has created the most wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable space. The house was truly more beautiful than we anticipated. It had everything we needed. The amenities were functional and well-appointed. The whole house was well-suited for our needs and was incredibly livable. My favorite part was the windows. If I have to clean up from dinner, the view made it so much more enjoyable. Additionally, the house was spotless and easily accessible. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Also, learning about the history of the house made it more meaningful to discover the specialness of the location and the house's origins. I CANNOT say enough good things about the location. The SW Coast Path is literally just outside the door. The views were stunning. Working with James was a joy. He was communicative, informative, and accommodating. I have already sent this listing to multiple friends!

We had a lovely stay at stairway to Devon - Midge. Nathan greeted us on arrival and informed us of everything we needed to know, including recommendations for local walks. The hut has everything you could possibly need, and the wood fired hot tub was an extra bonus. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing get away.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay. The barn was beautiful and spacious and perfect for socialising with friends or family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, our only gripe was that we wish we had booked longer!!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Leilas appartment has a lovely view of the harbour. The walk down is fairly steep so consequently so is the walk back. It’s a good central point for checking out North Devon.

Amazing flat with the most perfect views over West Bay . Superbly equipped for your every need , from kitchen to the super comfy bed . Hopefully we’ll be back

A lovely space to stay. One very large spacious room with a luxurious bathroom and separate shower. Fully fitted kitchen with everything you need. Very clean with good towels and bedding. Lovely quiet area but close to moors, Lynmouth and Lynton. Highly recommend and I would definitely stay again. Thank you Carolynn.

Christina was a friendly and helpful host. The house and gardens are beautiful with wonderful views of the church and surrounding countryside. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious and we appreciated the breakfast of cereals, fresh croissants, butter, jam and orange juice. A peaceful and relaxing stay. Very helpfull, good communication, great suggestions and most of all, a lovely house. The initial form filling and deposit providing on their own platform was kind of jarring and a bit of a hassle but I guess thats how they maintain it so well and it was well worth the state of the place. Would 100% recommend, dont let the form filling stop you!

We had an amazing stay at Coombe Villa! The house was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our group of six friends. We loved the sea views, the games room, and the cinema setup, which made for some really fun evenings. The location is ideal, with beaches, cafes, and restaurants just a short walk away. Simon and Charlie were super responsive and helpful with any questions, which made everything really easy. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

Just spent a lovely week at Jan's in a party of 13. Beautiful house and gardens in a very peaceful location. Garden was huge and had wonderful views of the lake. House was equipped with everything you need, even down to shampoo and extra bath sheets for the jacuzzi! Will definately be visiting again. Thank you Jan.

We loved its quirkiness, but Weeke Barton is an old building with uneven floors and low ceilings and spiral staircases which were a challenge. The stairs didn’t defeat us, but they are tricky. The rooms are warm even when a log fire is needed, which is recommended, and the beds are very comfy. All the bedrooms are great and full of history and character, which is the same for the whole of Weeke Barton. The location is also ideal for exploring Dartmoor, for riverside running and good food pubs. There is enough to do locally when it rains, and perfect walks for when it’s sunny.
