The place was beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. The cinema room was a hit with us all - watching Lord of the Rings from a hot tub was amazing! The rooms were all comfortable, the animals were all gorgeous and the fairy garden was adorable. It felt like a real hideaway, and we'd be delighted to visit again. Thank you ever so much!!

This was booked as a well needed break from reality after a tumour diagnosis in the family and it certainly delivered and did the job My children absolutely loved the pool and games room, and the cottage was both well equipped and isolated - exactly what we needed Thank you for an amazing stay, it was so relaxing and provided some well needed family time away from the hussle and bussle of real life - once I have recovered from my upcoming surgery, we will be returning for another dose of rest and relaxation at this lovely retreat 💕

I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. I was looking for an escape into the woods and it was exactly what I wanted. The setting of the cottage is stunning, right on the river and surrounded by trees. It feels remote, even though it's only a short walk into the village. The welcome was really friendly, you can tell that the owners are very active in their community and have put together loads of local info. I particularly liked the map of the community forrest which made me feel confident enough to explore walks by myself. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, with everything that you need, and then some. I didn't want to leave.

Was a great place to stay when we visited the Urdd Eisteddfod which was held in Margam Park this year. The house was very clean and Yan was very easy to get in touch with if we required anything. We have 4 young children, who loved the added bonus of the toys that were in the house. Everything you would need for a short stay was in the house. Thank you 😊

Fantastic few days at Daisy and James' place, thank you so much for sharing your home. Beautiful and stylish decor with everything you need and loads of cool touches. The kids loved the toys, especially the marble run! The trampoline outside was a huge hit too. Grosmont is a lovely village - we joined the local childrens' Easter egg hunt at the church, explored the impressive castle ruin in the rain(!) and had a lovely pub lunch at the Angel Inn. We would highly recommend and happily stay again, thanks again Daisy and James!

Wonderful place and fantastic hosts which made everyone feel so welcome and were brilliant at communicating with us. Location is perfect to walk to the pubs in Cowbridge then is perfect for a quiet nights sleep just away from the main high street. We will certainly be back! Thanks so much :)

Such a lovely place to stay. We only booked for two nights and wish we had been there for longer. Lots of really interesting features (a suit of armour! A harp!) in a well stocked house. Very comfortable beds and sofas, beautiful views (we especially enjoyed all the bird nesting in the eaves), gorgeous interior, starry Dark Skies and nice hosts - what's not to love? Great parking. Wish we could have had a few more nights, to check out the pub just down the road.

Even better than in the photos. Pool was a really nice touch for the babies. Internet did not work however, Danielle did make this clear to us prior to us arriving. This did not hinder our stay as we all had mobile service. Danielle was very friendly and welcoming and even came over to check if we had settled in ok and if there was anything else we needed from her.

A lovely, convenient location. The house was well-equipped and extremely pleasant to stay in. The light streamed-in from the front, back and through the velux windows. The island in the kitchen was a great social hub around which we sat for meals and chats. The eggs from next door’s chickens were dark and rich in flavour. Many thanks for that recommendation, and also for the milk, butter and lovely Welsh cakes. Thank you too for accommodating our dog who loved the back garden and the grassy areas nearby. Would highly recommend.

Very convenient and quiet spot that was perfect for us for a bike park trip. Would certainly be back on a future journey if it is available

Honestly one of the best Air BnBs we have stayed in. The place is stunning and the pictures do not do it justice. it has everything you need. Quiet location, easy to park and find. Close to amenities. Kate is attentive and answers any questions and helps. if I could give higher than 5 stars I would. Amazing place ❤️❤️

Clean and spotless laminate flooring downstairs, new carpet upstairs, clean linen, equipment, and utensils. Very well equipped. Flexible check-in and check-out. Excellent communication and quick response. Highly recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. Everything I needed was included — from kitchen essentials to extra linens — making it incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. The parking was also amazing — easy, accessible, and stress-free. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped space. Cute, clean and beautiful surroundings. Really good location right next to the M4 and a supermarket just across the road. Host was always very responsive and super friendly.

This was a very spacious home with all the amenities and well-equipped kitchen. The surrounding area is beautiful and has great walks and views nearby. The communication by Natasha was excellent and she even gave perfect suggestions for things to do when asked. We only stayed for one night but this place has everything to stay for a longer duration. Definitely recommend it if you want to explore Brecon beacons.

Perfect accommodation for bike park wales. Roughly 8 minute drive to the park.

Really enjoyed our stay. Tracey and Bob are super friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend you pop next door and say hello. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Treorchy is well positioned for trips to the Brecons. We also drove down to Barry Island in less than an hour and Cardiff on the train for less than £10 each. We ate out a couple of times, once at the Cardiff Arms Bistro which was ok and once at the Glamorgan Bar & Grill where the food was excellent. We had breakfast at the Old School Tea Room which you really must visit, breakfast was top notch . The Pencelli Hotel re-opened the day we left but looked lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here as a base to check out the area. Locals were all really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic house! Very clean and tidy, comfy beds, fresh towels and all the basics like milk, tea/coffee, shampoo etc which just made everything so easy. Very close to town less than 5 min walk plenty of restaurants, take away, pubs and shops/newsagents. Easy parking on side road and Alison was very helpful and responsive. Close to Pen y Fan and Waterfall walk as well as lots of other attractions. Felt safe as 3 women travelling and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely week at Blackberry cottage. Fully fitted to a fabulous standard. Perfect for us all ages 57, 15 and 88 (with disabilities) Becky was really helpful leaving us instructions for everything and loaning us a dog bed and wheelchair to use while we were there. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a true home from home. Little touches like treats for both us and our spaniel were appreciated too.

Fantastic place to stay only a 30 min drive away from Brecon Beacons where we were headed. Lovely seperate cottage in a fully enclosed garden that gave us privacy and peace of mind we needed when travelling with our two little ones. The decor of the Miners Cottage relates to the mining history of the region which was a nice touch and sparked interest of our children. Tracy is friendly but let's you go on with your day, happy to help when needed.

We had a lovely stay for one night, we had been to zipworld during the day and so it was easy to get to from there. The decor inside was beautiful, loved the attention to detail of everything Would definitely recommend
