Immaculate, well equipped,spacious single story house with secure parking. Garden room / dining room overlooked spacious patio, garden and heated swimming pool. Beach and restaurants about a mile away at Amorosa. Gabriel provided an excellent welcome pack of wine, milk, bread, butter etc. (and a bag of lemons the following day. ) He responded quickly to any questions and was flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay.

Fantastic space, was a great stay with 5 adults and a baby. Rita was so accommodating and easy to deal with. The place is large with a lovely living area. Wish we had booked for longer than 4 nights! Highly recommend.

Definitely a vacation to repeat, I recommend it to those looking for peace, tranquility and nature! The house is very well equipped, decorated and has an amazing view! During our stay we were also able to enjoy the delicious fruit that is at Quinta de Fundevila (where the house is located). Regarding the location, it could not be better, in a few minutes' walk you are in the center of Arco de Baúlhe or the old train station, where there is no shortage of things to see and explore. It should be noted that the restaurants in the area are all very good, as well as the bakery and are just minutes from the house. Regina and Alberto are very attentive and warm hosts, they spoiled us so much! Thank you so much for everything, we miss it already <3

Beautiful modern construction in a rural setting overlooking pastures and the valley below. Multiple and versatile outdoor areas with two patios and pool deck. Very quiet area without traffic noise, yet only a couple minutes from town and all its amenities. Andre is very quickly responsive in all communications.

Dear Ana, Thank you for a great vacation with you. You are very nice and helpful. The house is like a little oasis in the north of Portugal. If you want a nautical view of the Douro Valley, stay here. It was beautiful, peaceful and on Saturdays, you got to experience the music and fun of the local football team right alongside them with the music and cheering. So fun. Our host was amazing, man stairs in the house and outside, but they were quite easy to navigate, even with heavier suitcases. The town itself is walkable, but hilly. Stairs leading to the main road can cut your walk time in half, but they are steep both ways. Longer routes that aren’t as steep are available. We made use of both options depending on who was with us. Restaurants were also kind to call a taxi to help avoid the steep walk back. We would 100% stay here again. It was lovely and we really enjoyed our time.

We spent a few dream days in this house! Everything is very tastefully decorated (rustic style) and the house was spotless! The garden and pool also very well cared for! We will definitely repeat next summer!! The relationship with Gianluca is very easy, clear and fast.

It was a pleasure to spend a few days in Ralf's place. It's a wonderful house in a unique setting!! We had the bad luck that during all our days it rained a lot but thanks to the comforts of the house we were able to spend it fantastically and enjoy each space. But the best part was certainly not the house, nor was the environment Ana and Ralf who were aware of us at all times. Thank you for that💖💖

The house was perfectly set up for our family! Our family of 8 adults (three married couples, and one 83 year old and one single adult) found the house to be exactly what we needed. My husband and I took the top floor with his mom. Our three sons and their two wives shared the bottom floor. The five bedrooms were perfect for us and the three full bathrooms made mornings easier. The house offered lots of space for us to hang out together, but we were so busy enjoying the city of Porto, that we did not spend much time in the home. The outdoor patio was lovely! There were towels on each bed for us, the kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, some cleaning supplies and basics (tea, sugar, salt, etc.). There is a grocery store around the corner, which was very convenient. Host was quick to respond to our questions about the area and the home, and was flexible when we arrived later than expected about meeting us. It all worked out perfectly for our family.

Fantastic accommodation. Beautiful gardens, pool and house. Marcus is a very good host, and looked after us so well - bringing us little gifts like fresh orange juice just made the experience so much better. One of our children really wanted to keep a huge lemon he’d found in the garden but we told him he would have to ask. Instead of just saying no, or yes, Marcus said “sure, but why don’t we make some lemonade together!”. Just so thoughtful and kind. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Pool is very large and everything is perfectly clean. Marcus and Rick really did go out of their way to ensure our stay was successful without ever being intrusive, so please don’t hesitate to book!

Daniel and Katrina are already good friends. They are good people, easy to communicate and very helpful. They were impeccable in welcoming my family into their home. I highly recommend them!

This place is beautiful, with amazing breakfast of eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, and lots of other treats. It was a real highlight at a time flexible to you. The gardens and surrounds are stunning as well as the pool & terrace. We stayed as a group of 10 mid 40s ladies and had a fab time.. just not long enough. The breakfast staff were lovely. The rooms with all their ensuite bathrooms were brilliant and the sound insulation was impressive. The host was also very informative and responsive. Don't hesitate just book it!

Lurdes' home is great for a family getaway and with children. His house is spacious and has a swimming pool, even for children. In addition, it is well located, close to small villages that are worth visiting. Lurdes was a caring host and her house was spotless. We recommend it 100%, we were very comfortable there.

We spent 12 wonderful days at Casa Ramada. The house is beautiful and the gardens and pool just heavenly. The location is perfect for day trips to the coast and to the mountains, as well as the many small towns in the vicinity for excellent restaurants and markets. Many thanks to our hosts for sharing this wonderful country house with us.

We were 3 hours late but were warmly welcomed by Sandra! The house and garden are large and met all expectations! Surroundings are beautiful for hiking! Beautiful swimming pool (unfortunately not heated). The only thing missing is a garden table! We greatly enjoyed it!

Absolute dream of a place. Stunning grounds, surrounded by the most gorgeous gardens, lush greenery and the sound of the birds. Great swimming pool to chill after a day exploring the region. The accommodation is 5*, comfy beds and bedding, all the kitchen amenities and set up was perfect and comfortable for our group of 4 adults and two children. José was always available to give us recommendations of restaurantes, wineries and more, and Hugo always around to help with anything you need. Ah, also fresh bread every morning - so thoughtful. We had an unforgettable stay and will cherish our time at Villa Margaridi for years to come! Obrigada!

The house is incredible — a beautifully renovated old mansion with plenty of space for the whole family. We were a large family group of all ages, and everyone felt right at home. There were lots of toys for the kids, as well as a pool and a small playground outside. We loved the garden; it was just a pity that the weather wasn’t ideal, so we couldn’t enjoy it fully. One great feature for bigger groups is the number of bathrooms, along with the huge living room, which has a large TV and plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. I personally loved the kitchen, which was fully equipped with every appliance we could possibly need. Last but not least, there is also a small vegetable garden open to guests — we enjoyed a few onions and used some fresh lemons for our tea. :) Antonio was very responsive and helped us promptly whenever we had any issues. We truly hope to return to this beautiful place someday!

Beautiful house, very clean and well-equipped. Kids enjoyed the outdoor games and pool. Located in a small town, within walking distance of a bakery and butcher. Small supermarket a 3-minute drive. 30 min from the beaches, 1 hr from Porto, 40 min from Braga / Viana do Castello / etc. Fatima is a thoughtful and very responsive host.

My stay at this house was absolutely wonderful. From the moment of my arrival, I felt right at home. The house is spacious, bright and very pleasantly decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The host was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and recommending amazing places to visit. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a unique and welcoming experience on their trip. I will repeat without hesitation!

Beautiful and peaceful home with private access to the river. Would recommend staying here! Our dogs loved it too.
