Andre was a fantastic host. There was a very generous welcome basket, including wine, waiting for us on the kitchen table. He responded quickly to our inquiries and provided a very helpful list of local attractions and restaurants. The house was well equipped, very clean and perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel. We would definitely recommend this house and Andre as a host.

We were happy in every way. And, of course, we're sad to leave this toe of tomatoes. It's in a magical place with a private, tidy garden. With nice neighbors. Our hosts Janine and Lino were quick to respond to all our questions and requests. They were courteous and thoughtful. We are truly grateful that they made our month-long stay, our honeymoon, unforgettable. If we ever spend time in the Azores again, there is no question where we stay. The check-in was extremely easy and flexible, with the key stored in a safe. Joana had proactively provided us with all the relevant information beforehand. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Maria Madalena. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and modernly furnished—we felt right at home! Additionally, a selection of delicious local products awaited us. We were able to park our car directly in front of the door on the sidewalk. We had an incredibly beautiful week in Mosteiros and would gladly come back anytime. Muito obrigado, Maria Madalena and Joana!

What a unique and beautiful home for our São Miguel trip with 6 adults and one toddler. Maria left a welcome basket for us, including a stuffie for our 3 year old! The main house was spacious and charming with a mix of old and new touches. Beds were comfy and there were multiple places to sit and relax. The grounds and view from the home are gorgeous, and the resident cat was very sweet. The house is in a more rural part of the island on a steep narrow road making it a bit tough to be easily walkable but that’s a matter of not being used to the streets. There was enough in town to meet our needs and it was easy to get everywhere. Couple notes: where the bedrooms are, there’s no insulation between the floors so be prepared to hear what’s going on below or above you. Also there was no dryer, but Maria kindly helped us set up racks and dehumidifiers to get our clothes dry. Overall an awesome spot and I highly recommend!!

Amazing stay would definitely come back to this beautiful property. Interior was clean and homey apart from one encounter with a cockroach-that is apparently normal at this time of year but wish we were given a heads up. Host was always quick to respond and managed to check us in early which was greatly appreciated for our early flight.

Beautiful, secluded little cottage with a lovely private garden. Excellent communication, instructions and helpful recommendations. We had a lovely stay here and the accommodation had everything we needed. There is a supermarket in walking distance and the garden was quiet, full of birds and great for watching the sunset. I don’t know how much is within walking distance, but we had a rental car and this was perfect for our requirements. Thank you!

The place was fabulous, Roberto was a great accommodating host. We would definitely come back if we come back to Sao Miguel. The house is great for a large group, with large accommodating rooms, a beautiful backyard with an amazing view. Location is central on the island so not more than 40 min drive to anywhere you would like to go, 20 min to Ponta Delgada (the largest town/city). Only comment for improvement would be the air conditioning, it is only in one area of the house, not throughout, so the bedrooms can be warm if you are a custom to A/C in bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Roberto.

Our stay was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful. Nice to be out of downtown Ponta Delgada- but convenient enough to get to and enjoy the Festival and the city when we wanted to. The house is strategically located on the south shore and perfectly located to drive to the island’s sites. A couple very nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The ocean pools are right across the street. We enjoyed whale watching, hiking and traversing the Island, seeing all the sites. Ludovic was a txt away and helped out whenever we needed! Our 8 day stay went by so quickly, but it was wonderful.

Alexandra is the best host you can imagine. She is very friendly and reliable. The house is fantastic and well divided. The kids had fun with the animals. I recommend booking and would love to come back again and again.

My stay at this Airbnb property was absolutely wonderful! The property itself is nestled in a beautiful and safe area, which added to the overall experience. I felt completely at ease during my stay, knowing I was in such a secure neighborhood. One of the highlights was the clean and spacious swimming pool. It was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a lovely oasis to soak up the sun. The house was equipped with everything needed for daily life, from kitchen essentials to cozy living spaces. It was clear that the host had thought of everything to make guests feel at home. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Francisco immediately made us feel at home in his air bnb. He offered great recommendations for us to see the island and had everything we could need during our stay. The place was clean and less than a 10 min drive to the city center.

Accommodation with all the necessities near the sea and great viewpoints. Recommended.

The apartment was very nice and clean. Check in was easy and the apartment was well equipped. We appreciated the information booklets that were in the apartment, listing places to see and things to do. Recommended restaurants in the area were also great as well as local shopping. Our only complaint would be that it was not possible to park our vehicle on the street by the apartment, only small cars. We did find parking not far from the apartment.

My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Alain’s apartment in Vila Franca do Campo. The view from both balconies was stunning and completely unobstructed. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was clearly recently renovated, with a fresh, modern, and spotless feel throughout. There was plenty of parking available along the seawall, just a short two-minute walk from the apartment. Being right next to a fishing port added to the charm and authenticity of the location—we really enjoyed watching the fishermen return with their daily catch.

Maria was a wonderful host. Great communication and friendly. She not only let us check-in early but she allowed us to leave our luggage when checking out due to our flight being delayed. The place looks exactly like the pictures. For anyone with mobility issues please be aware that there is a flight of stairs up to the house when you enter, plus there are stairs up to 4 bedrooms. The outside space had amazing views, and if the weather cooperates it’s a wonderful place to relax after a day of exploring. We were unfortunate that the weather was not the best. I recommend Maria’s house.

Great big apartment. Very well located. With the rented car, everything was easily accessible. The place was wet and chilly. The host controlled it remotely. When we were able to clarify this, we had a pleasant temperature! Very decent. The dog was adorable and our hosts very friendly!

This accomodation didn't feel like the usual Airbnb, it felt like home. Clearly Selma&Ricardo care about their guests and ensured the house has everything you might need to actually live there. We stayed a week but we would have happily stayed extra as the place is big enough and has a huge beautiful outdoor. Location is perfect to visit both east and west, there is a very convenient Continental supermarket nearby which is open till late and saved us when local restaurants where closed on Sat/Sun/Mon. As soon as we entered we could smell how clean it was and overall it looks so much cosier and beautiful in person. Great communication, offered early check in and amazing tips around places to visit which we followed and found fantastic! We could not have asked better!

Very good welcome, we arrived a little late but Carlos was waiting for us.. Accommodation is well located with a beautiful view very well equipped. It has everything you need. Carlos was very attentive and attentive to our well-being. I highly recommend it.. The sunset in the evening on the terrace is very pleasant!! Thanks again to Carlos for hosting us!
