Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ponta Delgada

L'appartement etait parfait. Milieu de vie avec tout le necessaire (pas de serviette de plage ) le materiel etait propre. La vue est a couper le souffle sur la terrasse et dans le salon. Ce fut reposant et tres securitaire avec cour interieure spendide. Je recommande cet appartement a tous!! Merci Marco!

This was one of our favorite Airbnb's! Mario and Filipa were incredibly responsive hosts and provided excellent recommendations of yummy local restaurants. The photos are very accurate and the ocean views were truly stunning! We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the ocean view! The ocean decor inside was great. Everything was very clean and the sheets, towels, and bathrobes were all high quality. The location in Lagoa was great - not as touristy as other areas but easy to get to all the main attractions. Overall we highly recommend and hope to be back!

Très beau logement avec vue superbe. Possibilité explorer les environs à pied à proximité (promenade, plage, belvédère) et facile d’accès en voiture. Le garage est vraiment pratique, mais il faut être bon conducteur. Petit point négatif, le quartier est assez bruyant le soir et la nuit lorsque qu’on laisse les fenêtres ouvertes. L’hôte a donné plusieurs suggestions et recommandations pratiques et les informations sur l’arrivée étaient très claires. J’ai toutefois été un peu déçue d’apprendre la veille du départ que je devais payer une taxe d’hébergement qui n’avait pas été mentionnée et incluse lors de la réservation. Le logement en valait le coup malgré tout.

A Gorgeous Villa with a Touch of Magic We absolutely loved our stay! The villa is not only beautiful but has a special touch of magic that made our time there unforgettable. Perfectly located and thoughtfully equipped with everything one could need, it exceeded our expectations. We felt right at home and will definitely return if we’re ever back in the area. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, der Garten mit der Aussicht ist besonders hervorzuheben. In der Unterkunft war alles, was wir benötigt haben und sie war sehr sauber. Wir würden sie sofort wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely proactive about helping us with any and all needs. We were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they had everything prepared for him including high chair and crib all set up. We are so glad we got to spend a wonderful week at this property. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Maries Unterkunft. Das großzügig ausgestattete, freistehende Haus samt privatem Garten mit vielen schönen Sitzgelegenheiten/Terrassen war wunderbar um Privatsphäre zu genießen und der Ausblick ins Tal war unbeschreiblich schön. Marie hatte bei unserer Ankunft lokale Lebensmittel sowie frische Blumen für uns bereitgestellt und versorgte uns regelmäßig mit tollen Tipps für Unternehmungen. Sie war eine großartige Gastgeberin und jederzeit schnell für uns erreichbar. Die Schwefelquellen sowie Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs waren fußläufig erreichbar, die Wohnung war ein guter Ausgangspunkt für jegliche Unternehmungen auf der Insel. Man sollte wissen, dass es aufgrund der oft feuchten Wetterlage auf den Azoren auch im Inneren des Hauses erhöhte Luftfeuchtigkeit geben kann.

I stayed in 5 different homes on my trip to Portugal and Pedro’s place was by far the nicest. A beautifully designed home combining old and new with lovely finishes and yet welcoming spaces. Pedro was so helpful and accommodating. Hopefully we will return to Castinheiro one day.

Clean, comfortable, spacious apartment right in the heart of the city. Close to everything including restaurants, shops and points of interest. Very accommodating host re: checking in early. Allowed us to leave our suitcases for a few hours in a safe spot in the foyer after checking out and before heading to the airport. There is also a private patio where you can catch the morning sun while having your coffee. This apartment is on the top floor so be prepared for a lot of stairs. Overall, a great stay!

The place was clean and convenient. There was a leak in the toilet that was quickly resolved.

João is an excellent host, he provided us with the tips about how to best see Azores in the 4 days that we were there and was proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is much larger than we expected, each room is spacious including the kitchen and the two bathrooms. Each room has a sliding door to the balcony the size of which is more like a terrace. The location is quiet and the downtown Ponta Delgada is accessible in 15 minutes of walking. Grocery stores are nearby. The apartment has everything to the last detail, nothing is amiss, down to the laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets., and Q-tips. And if you need anything, João is only a one text away.

We spent 9 days in Carlos’s apt. The location is absolutely perfect, just a couple of blocks from the main square (city gates), and on walking distance to plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and retail markets. Private parking is available which is a huge bonus. The apt is modern and very clean. There was not one thing the apt didn’t have that we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were just perfect and the bath towels large and fluffy. Better than most hotels! There is a 4 point locking system on the apt door that made us feel super safe. Carlos was a fantastic host, checking in with us mid week to see if we needed anything. He was kind enough to leave us some umbrellas for our stay. Definitely choose to stay here again on our return trip to Sao Miguel!

Álvaro was an amazing host, the area was beautiful and he was able to provide many recommendations on stuff to do in the area. For others like us who wanted to explore the whole island it is a great central location that can get you to all sides in under an hour. Definitely will be recommending to our friends and family who will be visiting the island, thanks Álvaro!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and the location was perfect. We walked to the local market, cheese store and butcher and there were a couple small grocery stores within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and sites within walking distance as well. The garage worked well for us and the entry in and out of the building was seamless. The view front the outdoor deck was incredible and an absolute bonus to enjoy. The cooking facilities were excellent and the glasses, plates , knives etc were plentiful and in great condition. The unit was incredibly clean and functional and you could tell there was a lot of thought that went into making it perfect for guests. It was our pleasure to stay there and if we ever make our way back to this lovely city, we will definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay here! The apartment is beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious, modern bathroom. The balcony was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. There’s a popular restaurant right next door, and although the apartment is located a bit outside the Ponta Delgada city center, it’s a peaceful area with enough parking nearby. We had a car, which we’d recommend, but also walked into town along the scenic coastline-it takes about 30 minutes. All in all, a great base for exploring the island!

If we could give this place more than five stars, we would! The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and feels so cozy. The view from all rooms over green fields, Ponta Delgada, and the Azorean mountains is simply breathtaking. Everything is as shown on the pictures. The location is a nice 20-30ish min walk to the town (more pleasant downhill however). The surroundings felt residential, quiet, and safe. Carla herself is an exceptional host: she went above and beyond to accommodate our early check in, answered our questions immediately, checked in with us throughout the stay, and even made the effort to help us book cafés and a ride to the airport. Her hospitality and generosity make her already nice place a real gem!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Très grand logement, en plein cœur de Ponta Delgada. Marcher dans les rues est agréable et il y a plusieurs boutiques et restaurants dans les environs. Par contre, le stationnement est payant et c'est un peu bruyant la nuit, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de dormir. Aphonson répondait rapidement. Nous avons passé un beau séjour.

Logement très joli, fonctionnel et propre. La vie est sublime. Une bouteille de vin et un fromage local nous attendait à notre arrivée.

Such a bargain for a delightfully decorated apartment with an incredible view and a hot tub on the terrace!!! The area was peaceful and stunning and the apartment had everything you could need! Definitely recommend :)

Great price and location. hosts were extremely responsive and allows us to check in early. If you're wanting to park in the garage, make sure to park up on the side just before you get to the address, otherwise you'll need to do a loop around as everything is one way. very lovely stay

A casa estava muito bem equipada, limpa e de acordo com as fotografias. O check in é self check in o que facilita em termos de horas de chegadas. Localização bastante boa.
