Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ponta Delgada

We loved our stay at Marie’s house! Her and her family were so helpful and accommodating especially since we were traveling with two small children. This is the perfect house, especially if you are coming with kiddos! We loved the playroom, high chair, baby bed, and they even had children’s pool toys. We have stayed in many houses in several countries and this was one of our favorite stays! The location is perfect to visit either side of the island. We would love to stay again!

We would come back without second thought. Vitor's place was as described and we felt like home right away. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated kitchen (well equipped), living area and bedrooms. The place had all we needed for our 5 days stay. Host was very responsive, helpful and polite. Check in very smooth. We would recommend this place to our friends.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb!! The space was beautiful and amenities like the pool and hot tub were an amazing bonus!! There were some pretty large beetles that came out during our stay inside the house but host was responsive and assured us they’re harmless and happens with the change of season so it was out of his control. He sent the cleaner back in to deal with the bugs and placed an insecticide as well to help. No issues with cleanliness of the place whatsoever, it was spotless! Also just to note, there is a machine shop of some sort on the other side of the building and did cause quite a bit of noise during the daytime (never earlier than 8:30am) but we became used to it and didn’t mind. Would highly recommend this place!

Home was beautiful and full of charm. Yard was huge and great for kids to play in. Overall great place!

The property is gorgeous and the natural ocean pool is incredible!! Perfect place to stay on the island for a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful stay here.

I stayed here for a week with my family (including two kids - ages 8 and 10) and we had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel - it is easy to get to all parts of the island - and is very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The recently renovated kitchen is a huge plus too - we had no trouble cooking dinner at home one night (there is a huge grocery store nearby). Laetitia was also a wonderful host, leaving a basket of local treats to welcome us, connecting us with a rental car agency, and otherwise being very helpful.

This was our first little home in the island as we went to the area of sete cidades. Loved the touch of having coffee as we couldn’t shop anywhere due to being sunday! There is a restaurant literally 5 mins away so that was perfect😌

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Ana. L'endroit est tout simplement parfait, les fleurs sur le terrain sont magnifiques, le logement était propre et spacieux et la piscine très bien entretenue. C'est aussi très calme le soir pour dormir. Et parfaitement situé sur l'île pour aller autant à l'Est que à l'Ouest. Je recommande l'endroit et j'espère y retourner un jour!

Luis was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He left a lot of information regarding activities and local restaurants. He deserves top marks as a host. The apartment is lovely. It has lots of space, great lighting and absolutely everything you will need for a great stay. The off road parking is a huge bonus. We had a lovely stay at this apartment and would return in a heartbeat.

Vous voulez passer du bon temps dans un endroit calme et une magnifique vue, c'est la place. Par ailleurs, la proximité des attraits touristiques est un plus. Vous avez une épicerie à moins de 2 minutes ce qui est très pratique. L'accueil a été excellent. N'hésitez pas.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in dieser Unterkunft in Ponta Delgada! Der Whirlpool war ein absolutes Highlight – nach einem langen Tag voller Erkundungen der Insel konnten wir hier perfekt entspannen und dabei die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer und die umliegende Landschaft genießen. Die Lage des Hauses war ideal: ruhig und dennoch gut erreichbar. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen, da die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit waren. Sie gaben uns viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Die Unterkunft war sauber, gut ausgestattet und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Besonders gefallen hat uns die große Terrasse, auf der wir morgens unseren Kaffee trinken und abends den Sonnenuntergang bewundern konnten. Wir können dieses Airbnb wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal auf den Azoren sind!

Eine etwas abgelegene, aber wirklich traumhaft schöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht und einem freundlichen Gastgeberpaar. Das Frühstück ist lecker und wird in einem sehr hübschen Raum im Haupthaus serviert, auf Wunsch gibt es jeden Morgen ein Ei von den hofeigenen Hühnern. Wir haben uns auch gut mit der kleinen Hündin der Gastgeber angefreundet. Wir hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit bei Pierre und Catherine, vielen Dank!

Nous avons pu apprécier le confort et la tranquillité de la Vila Alegre durant notre séjour à Capelas. L’appartement est spacieux, confortable et offre beaucoup de cachet. Son jardin privé est magnifique pour se promener parmi la végétation, les arbres, les fleurs et les oiseaux ou pour le contempler depuis le petit salon vitré, notre pièce favorite. L’accueil de notre hôte, Antonio, a été exceptionnel. Des bouquets de fleurs fraîches ont été disposés dans chaque pièce ainsi qu’une tablée dans la cuisine de produits locaux choisis délicieux! La Vila Alegre s’inscrit parfaitement dans nos vacances aux Açores telles que nous les avions rêvées : bain de nature et charme authentique!

Absolute Empfehlung für Familien mit Kleinkindern ! Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Marion verbracht und den traumhaften Garten mit den vielen Spielzeugen, Tieren und Sitzgelegenheiten sehr genossen. Marion ist immer erreichbar und besonders hilfsbereit, außerdem kennt sie sich super aus und hat für wirklich alles Tipps. Das Apartment ist ein gut gelegener Ausgangspunkt für sämtliche Ziele mit dem Auto .

El apartamento estaba muy bien equipado y amplio, con facilidad de aparcamiento en la zona. Ubicación perfecta, a 10 minutos del centro en coche. Luis estuvo pendiente en todo momento y nos recomendó un montón de restaurantes y cosas que ver en la isla. Recomiendo mucho este alojamiento.

Lotus House was sensational! We were a family group ranging in ages from 17 months old to 67 years old , and the house and property were comfortable and suitable for all ages. We were thrilled to see papayas and bananas growing in the yard. The kitchen really is well equipped- we fell in love with the espresso machine. There are comfortable mattresses on all the beds and plenty of towels and bath supplies. The heated pool, hot tub, and grounds made being at home so much fun. Even when it was 56 degrees and raining we were in the pool, and it was still comfortable. The AL Acores management team was impressively responsive. We had a very minor plumbing issue which was fixed within hours. When we arrived there were diapers in the crib, which was very thoughtful, and when one of the kids needed to see a doctor, we got excellent advice and thoughtful followup check-ins. I've stayed in a lot of airbnbs, and this is definitely one of the best.

Amaaaazing place! The house is huge, fully equipped with everything you may need and more! The views are one of a kind: mountains, ocean, green everywhere. Wake up to the sound of birds, beautiful evenings watching the sunset. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Communication was on point, friendly and fast. Everything exceeded our expectation. Best value for money in all Azores.

This is one of the best, if not THE best, Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I went on a last minute trip to the Azores, and I could not be more happy with my stay. Traveling solo, I had a beautiful 1 Bedroom house with views of the hills, farmland, and the ocean from multiple windows. It was an excellent base that I was beyond excited to come back to every night. The grounds are gorgeous, and it’s in a great location on the Northeastern part of the island. I felt truly at peace staying here — it’s in a rural area but with extremely easy access to anywhere on the island. At night, it’s extremely quiet and peaceful. I took the bike out and was able to get to the sea in 2 minutes, with a beautiful view on a whale watching lookout all to myself. The place had everything I needed, and the hosts gave amazing recommendations for hiking and food! They even provided local-made bread and marmalade, plus some sweets for my stay. Best service and stay out of an airbnb I could’ve asked for.

This home has got to be one of the most beautiful BNB's I've stayed at! Like all the other reviews, the pictures don't do it justice! The property is immaculately kept clean, the finish on the home shows impressive craftsmanship, and the views from the private pool is exactly what you need on vacation! It's very private and peaceful. I loved being able to just sit in any of the many benches and just soak it all in. So much care was taken to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. The host goes the extra mile in many ways, including providing a welcome kit with snacks and drinks! The host was extremely helpful and responsive and kind. I could go on forever about how wonderful this home and host is, but I recommend you find our for yourself! Don't hesitate - just book it!

Lovely layout, suited our needs well. Easy walk to the trail along the ocean and very close to restaurants and bars. We loved the local flavour of the neighbourhood. A short drive/bus to Ponta Delgada. 15-20 to many adventure spots. We would highly recommend this place.

Pedro and his family are super hosts. The home was fantastic and everything was just perfect. A fantastic stay enjoyed by all 8 of us.

Great location and a beautiful home. It did have more stairs than we anticipated but was not an issue as two bedrooms are on the entry floor and other three on a level down. Living, dining and kitchen are on the lower third level. The pool did need to be cleaned. The Polaris stopped working before it cleaned the pool but was not of consequence since the weather was still too cool really for swimming. Be aware the hot tub is an inflatable and you’d really only have space for two but it’s on a great deck with nice view to the ocean. There were no restaurants really in walking distance but they are a short drive away and there are many great ones down by the water with beautiful settings. It was very nice to have clothes detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry area. We really appreciated that.

João's place was a great home base for our Azores adventure. It's a nice central location on the island, and a beautiful house and area. The whole place was spotless and the kitchen was great for making breakfast and coffee. There is a small grocery store within walking distance, but otherwise a car is required for the area so thankfully parking was very easy. Highly recommended!
