Apartment war sauber und entsprach den Fotos. Die Lage ist ruhig und der Strand einfach zu erreichen. Kommunikation war gut und einfach. wenn man selbst kochen möchte, könnte die Küche besser ausgestattet sein (z.b. weiterer Topf oder Pfanne).

Great accomandation for digital nomads! The wifi is really good. The area is super quiet and chill & has plenty full of wildlife. You have everything you need nearby. I would recommend renting a bike for an extra smooth experience but you can also easily get around on foot. 10/10 would recommend! :)

Nice house away from town and right next to the beach, perfect for having a peaceful weekend.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie liegt mitten im Grünen mit toller Aussicht in die Natur. Die Faultier und Affen konnten wir von der Terasse aus beobachten. Es ist ruhig, sicher und alle Ziele in Puerto Viejo sind gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist toll aufgeteilt, sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Bei Fragen gibt es auch eine sehr nette Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Das Highlight der Wohnung ist die schöne Terasse und die praktische Küche. Wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt, es war wie nach Hause kommen. Wir können die Unterkunft für einen schönen Aufenthalt in Puerto Viejo nur empfehlen und werden bestimmt mal wieder kommen. This was my second time staying here. Easy to find, close to everything, and the restaurant is absolutely delicious! A little pricey but 100% worth every penny plus she offers a 10% discount for guests. I would come back just for the food. The pasta is amazing. If you get off the bus from San Jose this is the perfect place to stay being that it is only a few minutes walk away from the bus stop. The beds are comfortable and the only downside would be it’s a little noisy being so close to everything but it did not bother me at all. I would definitely stay here again!

Second year in a row staying in Anielkas place and don’t regret it. The place is fully equipped, close to playa negra beach and lots of walkable restaurants in the center of Puerto Viejo. The place is clean and safe.

We loved our time here. Jessica, mile and Maia are all fun, lovely and helpful. The space is clean, cozy, and accommodating with modern flares including a projector and screen if you’ve worn your self out in nature and just want to veg out. The hosts had great recommendations on things to do in the area and the location is perfect for relaxing or a short drive to a busier atmosphere. Mike runs a tour service too so you can easily book directly with him while there. When we head back to this area we will definitely stay here again! We feel we found friends, along with a perfect home away from home.

Erin and her husband are incredibly warm and welcoming people who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The house is beautifully laid out, especially for a family with young children and perhaps grandparents as well. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are conveniently located close together on the lower level, and there is another bedroom with a private bathroom upstairs. There are two spacious terraces — one on the ground floor and one upstairs — perfect for doing yoga or meditation while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The pool and house offer complete privacy, which made our stay feel truly relaxing and secluded. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know that Erinn and her husband live nearby, always available to help or offer great local tips. Both are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is fantastic — you can keep an eye on the kids. We felt incredibly comfortable and were warmly welcomed by Erinn and her husband. We will definitely come back on our next visit!

This is the most relaxed I have been in years. I’d stay a year if I could afford it. The sounds of nature just make it so easy to drift off to a nice sleep. The outside kitchen was not difficult to work with. Everything I needed was literally right there. The pool is perfect for relaxing in and is private. While I have a child, it was particularly nice to have a kid free atmosphere where you can just relax. There are so many things to do near by and Jim and his wife are lovely. Luna, the pup, is an absolute joy. I already miss it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for your hospitality and the relaxing weekend. 🫶🏽

I want to share our experience for our 9 day stay. Coming into Limon there was an accident I had emailed our estimated time of arrival to our host But traffic was backed up, we were stuck in traffic for 4 hours. our host was super communicative and as we got closer he met us at the property about 5 hours late so glad for his help getibg us aclimated to the aurroundings. one day we had no gas to cook and I contacted the host and he had us fuel in 15 minutes. we saw monkeys and a sloth right outside of the back porch. very comfortable property but remember you are in a jungle setting. your doing to see bugs and mosquitoes. Well stocked kitchen utensils, good wifi, great ac, comfortable beds and we felt safe there. We would stay there again. thans for hosting the three of us.

Hermosa casa con una excelente ubicación, el área muy tranquila y con muy buena privacidad. La piscina y el rancho con parrilla nos encantó. Susana es muy comunicativa y responde rápido. Súper recomendada esta propiedad.

Muy agradecidos con Andrés, súper atento y cordial. Respondió inmediatamente todas nuestras dudas y tuvo toda la disposición de ayudarnos en lo que requerimos. El alojamiento es precioso, mucho más hermoso que en las fotos, cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia cómoda y relajada en el Caribe Sur. La casa es de fácil acceso, rodeada de naturaleza, la decoración súper linda. Definitivamente volveremos.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Raku. The house was even better than the description! The garden, the birds, the agoutis and the butterflies were a constant delight and everything about the house made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Communication with Zinni was always clear, quick and friendly and she did everything to answer our questions and make our stay easy. The loan of the bikes was an added bonus that we did not expect, as was the weekly cleaning and change of bed linen. The washing machine and dryer were very useful and the house was so well equipped. Having a supermarket two minutes away was great and Casa Raku was well situated to enjoy the beaches at Punta Uva, Manzanillo and Playa Chiquita. We give Casa Raku and Zinni our highest recommendation and hope to return there one day. The only slightly negative thing to mention was the noise of vehicles and motorcycles, especially at the weekends, but you got used to it after a few days.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Serena. From the moment we booked, Jason and Genny reached out to me with local recommendations. They also allowed me to check in early when we arrived before the scheduled check in time. You can't ask for a better location. It is located down a quiet street, yet right in the jungle and a few minutes walk from beach and shops. The house is centrally located, allowing us to see and do many activities in the area with just a short drive. Our family loved the large outdoor space where we would wake up to howler monkeys in the morning, eat meals surrounded by nature, and relax in the hammocks at the end of the day. We also loved having A/C to cool off at night as well as an actual hot water shower which we didn’t have elsewhere. It was nice having access to both a washer and dryer, too. Jason and Genny are fantastic hosts. They are quick to reply and made it a very comfortable stay for us. This is an amazing place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Dario’s home was peaceful and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed countess days and nights soaking in and listening to the wild animals that were in the trees. Dario was very helpful in assisting us to get around and made local dining recommendations as we were unfamiliar with the area. Casa Punta Uva is a gem and Dario ensures you will have a wonderful stay!

This is an awesome place to stay, rest and/or work. It feels and is a peaceful and quiet place where you will enjoy your vacation, the pool is very familiar, you can see the ocean from the balcony, and it is a fact that you will see very relaxed iguanas taking the sun <3. Dalma was very friendly and responsive... I'd love to be back again!

An amazing place in Manzanillo, well-equiped and clean. Definitley will visit again.

Un excelente lugar para ir en pareja; a mi novia y a mi nos encantó el departamento. Nos costó un poco llegar ya que justo dónde estábamos ni ella ni yo teníamos señal de teléfono para comunicar que habíamos llegado. Pero siguiendo las indicaciones llegas perfectamente, literalmente está a unos cuantos pasos del acceso a Playa Chiquita, tiene una cocina muy bien equipada, baño completo, parqueo y duchas para cuándo vuelvas de la playa. Hay opciones cerca para comer sin embargo nos pareció que lo mejor es ir hasta Cocles o Puerto Viejo si buscan opciones. Excelente lugar y definitivamente volveremos!
