Our cute casita is situated in a large garden beside a river. You can listen to the birds and howler monkeys, relax in your hammock on the patio, and look at the Guanacaste trees in the garden. You can use the pickleball / basketball court on the property with a terrace and outdoor kitchen. You can walk to Marsella beach (10 min.) or Maderas beach (20 min.), where you have great surf. It is 10 min. to San Juan del Sur: you can already use the new road, the Costanera, that is being built.

Casa Arbol- Treehouse life in SJDS

I absolutely loved this treehouse! It was exactly what I needed. Angelica and Jorge are also wonderful people. They picked me up in San Jorge when I got off the ferry and Angelica would shuttle me to anywhere I needed to go the whole time I was there. Not only that, but they make some of the best cheese I've ever had and she would bring me a variety of cheeses throughout my stay. The sunsets are fantastic. The walk to the beach is short and there is an excellent restaurant right on the beach with great WiFi if you need to work. My colleagues were pretty jealous of my beachfront office. I already miss Casa Arbol and hope to come back. It's a real treasure.

Staying at Rolland’s place in Popoyo was an absolute dream. The house is gorgeous, perfectly located right by the beach, and incredibly well-maintained. It was spotless and felt fresh, clean, and cared for in every detail. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Rolland himself. His energy is incredible, warm, uplifting, and full of positivity. He’s one of the kindest and most genuine hosts we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, Rolland made us feel completely at home. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and loves sharing the magic of Popoyo. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! You’ll leave with great memories and a new friend. Thank you so much, Rolland, we can’t wait to come back!

People in Germany always talk about wanting to live in paradise. then you should come to Toño. He actually had another reservation in a hotel and only wanted to spend the first night with Tonio and then canceled the other reservation and stayed here for four days because it was so nice :) 5 stars!

This place was even better in person! We really enjoyed our time there. The view over the town and ocean is absolutely beautiful, and the infinity pool made it even better! — we spent a lot The casita was ideal for our daughter, brother in law, & mother — it gave them their own space while still being close by. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We really appreciated the basic spices, oil, coffee, sugar, etc. that were provided. Cheryl was helpful with arrival instructions & recommendations for the best happy hour & nicest beach with hammocks. The location is the best we have found so far! We won’t hesitate to return.
