House holiday rentals in Playa del Vao

The host met us on arrival and after some minor paperwork gave us a tour and answered any questions. Was very friendly and helpful to any questions we had and gave recommendations for things to do whilst there. The house is really nice and all the bedrooms are equally nice. The basement is the highlight with the pool table and dart board. Would recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. Susa and her husband have always been attentive. We celebrated a birthday with friends and had a great time at Loft Garboa. I recommend it!

The accommodation is cozy and beautiful. We found it very clean. Well-kept and pleasant garden to enjoy. Good location to get around the area. Fidel responds quickly and is available if you need him. Worth repeating.

Few words reflect how good our stay at Iris D'Arga was. João and Astrid are lovely hosts who make you feel at home from the start. The house is beautiful and well decorated and equipped, even inspiring. The pool is great for spending great summer afternoons. And Serra D'Arga is magnificent. For those who like trails, biking, waterfalls, fauna, etc., I recommend it 200%. If you don't like any of that, the recommendation is the same because there is no shortage of things to do around Covas. In short, super recommended and we still came away with a great memory of wood from such a wise workshop with João.

Our stay has exceeded our expectations, David at all times has been very attentive to us, he has a small orchard of which we have tried practically everything, he always had some detail with us. The house was like being in ours, we were going with a baby and left it totally adapted. It is very well located, close to the highway to be able to move, since we have been 15 days and we wanted to be able to move. Definitely if we return in that area we will return to Casa Osdailla.

We had a wonderful weekend in this house with friends. The house is large, very spacious and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was undoubtedly one of the strong points, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. Communication with Maria was always fast, clear and very friendly, which made everything even easier. We totally recommend it and hope to return soon!

Truly architecturally beautiful, comfortable home. A fantastic location walking distance through a nature reserve to Barra beach. The surrounding area is green, lush & natural. A real top quality abode, we are already planning our return trip. Dominique was a superb host.

Excellent stay. Comfortable apartment 5 minutes from Cangas and perfect for getting around the area. The apartment has everything you need to spend a few days. And although Carlos and his family live upstairs, it's a super independent apartment. We felt right at home. Carlos has always responded quickly and has been very kind. He recommended good restaurants and beaches. It's a good place to get to know the area. See you soon!

After spending the last four weeks here I am so sad to be leaving Portugal. The house and the area are just beautiful, and I could not recommend this place enough. A car is a must, but it’s a very pleasant and straightforward drive from Porto airport. The village has a river beach, but if you prefer the sea, Caminha is a 50 minute drive and it’s definitely worth the visit - the beaches are beautiful. Forte da Ínsua restaurant is a must! I would also recommend a day trip to Tui, we took a boat ride and looked at the history and it was just wonderful. I’d also recommend the boardwalk hike along the river from Sistelo. The views are just incredible! The house is in a very rural area, so this place is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. A huge thank you to the hosts for being so helpful and accommodating!

We enjoyed a few fantastic days. The house is wonderful, with everything you need, fabulous views, a dream garden. The beach is very close and there are plenty of places to visit around. Our Stay by Jalisco was perfect: really nice apartment, with beautiful garden and really close to a beautiful beach! Jalisco is an amazing host, he recommend a lot of nice things to do in the region:-) we would definitely come back!

Beautifully presented house and garden. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. 5 minute walk to the dock for us to get the ferry to the islands.

Everything is perfect, as indicated in the ad, the always very attentive and willing to advise sites, ideal apartment to come in good weather. We'll do it again for sure.

We were very comfortable. A place to stay with personality where pets are welcome. With our golden we felt at home.

Small casita, but very cozy, equipped with everything you need. It made us very good weather and we really enjoyed the garden. Tumbonas where to relax in the sun, hanging hammocks, outdoor shower, chill-out area with outdoor kitchen, barbecue… It also has a common area, with foosball and pimpón, shared with the annex apartment. We really liked the area; it's quiet and at the same time you have everything you need on hand. There are two supermarkets nearby, a bakery on the same street, restaurants and beaches nearby (approx 15mins walking). Specifically one of dogs (Praia Calzoa) where our dog really enjoyed running around its huge sand. Miguel was very attentive from the first moment. Always aware that everything was to our liking. He provided us with local recommendations for both catering and activities/leisure. We will be back!

Superb stay. Cangas is beautiful & easy access to bars & restaurants. Vigo is very nice too & reached by ferry. Real nice beaches in the area. Would return!

Marcelino met us exactly on time and showed us around the house explaining how everything worked and what to do in the area. The house absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is right on the beach, easy boardwalk in to town. Beautiful sunsets and views. Boiro is a great little town, lots of restaurants and cafes. We really recommend staying here. We only had 4 nights and wish it could be longer. Thank you for your kindness Marcelino.

This was not just a place to stay, it was an experience. Angelina and her husband give an exceptional welcome. They are kind people who make you feel welcome, like when you are welcomed by a family member. They give you directions and care about your privacy. In my case, she invited us to eat an empanada. The time we shared was exceptional. They make you feel at home🏡. A stay worth repeating. The accommodation is impeccable and comfortable, with very nice views.

It's been a wonderful experience. We loved the house and the treatment received by Manuel . It rained us all week , but despite, I'll definitely be back. And if that's cool !!!! Graciñas !!!

The place is exactly like in the pictures! Amazing landscape. Perfect for spending a few days off and resting.
