Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Playa de Punta Umbría

Antonio was the perfect host right from the point of booking. He was communicative and helpful, providing lots of information about the house, the local area and check in process. When we arrived he was already at the property and gave us a quick tour-it was immediately apparently that the house was absolutely pristine and all the little details had been thought about so carefully-I cannot fault it. We were absolutely delighted and had an incredible week away. Antonio was on hand to answer any questions and we couldn’t have asked for more, I highly recommended this host and this properly.

Perfect accommodation in El Rompido, the location is excellent, next to everything but at the same time very quiet. The upper terrace is ideal for enjoying the night, with direct views of the estuary and the Rompido arrow. The owner is attentive and the person who receives and shows the house is charming. Perfect also for golfers, the two courses of Rompido are ten minutes away and some of the best in Portugal are less than an hour away. Worth repeating.

For the second year in a row, it was an excellent stay. The house is extremely pleasant and comfortably accommodates 4 people. The terrace is excellent The rooms are comfortable and airy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The urbanization has a parking space and a very good swimming pool available in July and August, and we were lucky to enjoy 3 days in June. It matches the pictures exactly. On the outskirts there is a market, beaches and a shopping center with several options to eat.

This is a wonderful house in a dreamy area. We spent a week with our small children and were able to relax and explore the various towns and beaches of the area. We were blown away by the spacious yet comfortable interior and its magical master bed room on the 1st floor with windows to all sides including a few of the neighboring vineyards and the sea. The owner clearly payed attention to the little details that turn a house into a home, like a Bluetooth speaker in the living room or a well equipped kitchen. Staff members as super friendly as well. The service included one room service/cleaning of the place mid-week which we also appreciated. We highly recommend the house to anyone seeking a bit of quite time in the middle of the busy Algarve.

Fantastic location right in the center with everything close by, super clean and cozy stay with a great terrace. I traveled with two friends, we had a great time and the host's attention was great, we felt super good, we hope to return.

The accommodation is just as seen in the photos, it is not missing a detail and has everything, it is tastefully furnished. Ignacio has been pending and the service was great. It has a great location for beach and restaurants. We definitely spent a week of 10! Thank you Ignacio for everything.

Great flat , modern and very clean. It has all the utilities that you need. Great location, 2 local shops near and restaurants near the flat. I really recommend Maravilla’s restaurant, great local food for the price. Daniel was very attentive and great host. He was also very flexible with the check-in which we did appreciate it due to we got quite late. He recommended us places for eating nearby. Definitely a place we would come back next time in our time in Portil!

We’ve not stayed at a better location, highly recommended. Located just a few minutes walk from a world-class beach. A secure location within a complex that allows you to reside with others in the community, while at the same time having privacy. Every convenience and necessity is made available. The kitchen facilities are modern and very complete, all that you may need during an extended visit is provided. Manta Rota is a delightful village, we made many new friends. The hosts, Lucy and Carlos, are welcoming, helpful and friendly. They involved themselves personally to be sure we were comfortable and fully satisfied. They made every effort to ensure our stay was memorable. They have a flair for decoration and delight in creating a chic and upscale ambiance. The cleanliness, quality and decor is first rate. Facilities are modern & in top condition. Description and photos are completely accurate. Heating systems were excellent. We booked to return, which confirms our recommendation.

Since we arrived at the apartment, Adrián treated us super well, we traveled from Galicia and explained everything and recommended places to eat and to know, the apartment is great, we enjoyed everything from the terrace to the pool that was covered and we loved the area very quiet, our idea was to go to rest and we achieved it, and at any time we will repeat. We were kindly welcomed by Manuel. He gave is tips for beaches and restaurants in the area and even held a parking spot for us! The accommodation was new and clean and El Rompido has great views, amazing restaurant and beautiful beaches in the area. We will definitely come back for a relaxing time in the future!

Nicely located apartment, about a 5min close to the beach and the city centre. Big apartment with lots of room and greatly suitable for longer stays.

A definite 5 star apartment to stay in. A warm welcome from Gabriel and Amalia. Showed us around the apartment and explained how everything worked. The apartment was excellent, with an outstanding outdoor space and terrace. The terrace gets the sun from first thing on a morning to last thing at night, with beautiful views of the pool area, harbour and sea. The seafront is a 10 min walk away. Certainly a lovely place to visit especially on a Sunday when all of the local families congregate around the various beach bars and restaurants. In October time is a lot quieter during the week - which suited us fine. The bonus was Gabriel's parents own Novogolf, which specialises in golf breaks. We were fortunate enough to play golf with the many other members of 'Novogolf family'. Something which we plan will to try in future. Thank you for a brilliant vacation.

It was the second time I stayed in José Carlos' apartment. Once again, everything impeccable. Excellent location, very clean and fabulous terrace. José Carlos is always available to answer any questions. I recommend it without hesitation. I hope to return soon!

We had a lovely time! What a unique stay! We loved having the pool to use on a quiet day or to refresh as we explored the area. As a family of 4 we had more than enough space. The parking is also super convenient. The host was very helpful with our questions. They also provided many local recommendations

Had a lovely week in this house, location is probably the best in Tavera for resteraunts and ferry to the beach. Train station a 20 min walk which connects you to the whole of the Algarve. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any air bnb I have stayed in, you could cook and seat 20 if you wished. The roof terrace was a bonus for views, seating and chilling. We were two people staying so had a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room each, loads of great communal space as well. Mat’s was very attentive to our needs and gave some great recommendations for eating out. Nikita at the end of the road was amazing food and reasonable. Would recommend a stay here.

The apartment was just as described. It is located in an urbanization with many amenities ideal for children. It was perfectly clean. The only catch we found was that the beach on foot for us was inaccessible by the stones as it is the end of the River, but by car two minutes away you find the beach of the boot that is fine sand and perfect. Karl was attentive throughout the stay for anything we could need. We would definitely come back.
