Holiday rentals in Platanias

Sometimes it’s such a cliché to say “the photos did not do it justice “ but this is one of those rare occasions when it really does apply.. The Villa Tile is the perfect place for a couple or small family and has everything within a few metres.. the beach literally is on you back door step, next door is a beach bar with a pool which you are welcome to use. The hosts went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us during our stay, even undertaking some emergency sewing and pillow adjustments when we said that the pillows were a little too firm for our liking… We are already planning to come back in May 2025 and hope to use the Villa Tile again.

We felt very comfortable here! The location is perfect, by car you can easily get to many great beaches without having to drive extremely far. The room was as described, it was totally clean and was even cleaned once during our stay. The view was totally beautiful and to have breakfast on the balcony just mega! I have to give a small deduction, as the bed is quite small and the apartment is also very clairaudient... you unfortunately hear all the noises from outside and also from the neighbors... Thank goodness we had quiet neighbors, but if families with children live next door, it could be a bit louder. Nevertheless, we were completely satisfied, the host is super friendly and gave us great recommendations! We would come back 🥹🥰

Evi’s place is spacious, well-equipped for families, and the bed was super comfortable! The garden was a hit with the kids who would play there every morning while we had our morning coffee outside. We had everything we need from beach towels, beach toys, a baby high chair, baby toilet seat, mosquito repellent, and more..! Evi is a great host and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable, like helping us find a taverna that delivered late on the night of our arrival, or bringing us some homemade kalitsounia. We really appreciate the hospitality and would come back anytime!

A fabulous stay at Kourthiana. Sally went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Location and views lovely with a couple of great restaurants/tavernas within walking distance. Easy for us to reach places like Balos and Paleochora by car. Thank you, Sally and Gord :)

Absolutely wonderful! We were so happy with our stay at Villa Sissy. Booking was smooth and all questions were answered. The house is beautiful and the pool is amazing. We had the pool heated (in april) and was perfect. Everyone, especially the kids, enjoyed it. We were 3 generations staying - 4 children, 5 adults. Each bed room nicely decorated with en suite. Sissy as a hostess was welcoming, informative, helpful and friendly. And the welcoming package was amazing. Sissy even managed an extra bed in one room to suit the family. Chef Spyros recommended through cretevillas4u was great! All in all - a great vacation in villa Sissy!

Great accommodation! Impeccable cleanliness, with an amazing pool and jacuzzi! And an extraordinary view. 🇬🇷 The only disadvantage is the lack of equipment such as hair dryer, scissors, etc. while it was written in the description. Responsive hosts!

Anastasia was very gracious and responsive all along the way: helping me find the place which wasn't obvious (the roads are narrow and very windy) and came out to greet me; suggesting where to by groceries; providing additional amenities like a beach towel; and she especially went out of her way to help me retrieve some items I left behind. Anastasia was very proactive about improving things so entered the apartment several times (most times after asking permission). The apartment is great, two separate beds, a/c only in the bedroom and must be left off when leaving apartment (there is a mechanisms go guarantee this). Great for vacation, minor (almost inconsequential) discomfort with not having a location with to work on a laptop with nearby outlets and a/c in the same room. Wi-fi worked okay, but password was not provided upfront so I had to get it from Anastasia and that took several attempts. But once it was up, it was up and running. Quiet location in nice Cretan village.

The apartment is very well located, just a few meters away from the beach. Everything is easily reachable by foot (supermarket, restaurants, beach, cafés). The apartment is bright, clean and modern with 2 big bay windows to the balcony oriented towards the sea. Possibility to use the washing machine and plenty of towels and bedsheets were available. Antonios and Vicky were really friendly and full of tips. During our stay mid October, restaurants were beginning to close for the winter season but plenty were still available. We would recommend this accommodation :) !
