Holiday rentals in Platamonas

This place is a rare gem 💎 the fact that you are a few steps from a beach where you are almost alone is wonderful in the beginning of June. The veranda of the home is perfect for breakfast and dinner or the casual chill out when the heat rises. Bear in mind to bring shoes for the water as it has rocks. But there is a little path to go without issues - Crystal clear water. 🏖️ If you are with a child or two … why not four :) then this is the place to stay. The home is built around the concept of “vacation with children” - toys, house amenities all considered for the little ones. 🧸 The place is 10-15 min walking distance from places to eat and it is away from noise. Supermarkets are also near for convenience. The hosts are super responsive and when we had troubles with our little one they were extremely careful and supportive. Overall we found our dream home away from home in Platamonas. We would definitely come back again!

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by George’s parents. They did an excellent job explaining how to check-in/open/close the door to the house. The bed was incredibly comfortable with a great mattress. The property is fully gated and has secure, inside parking; they have Starlink internet which seemed fast and reliable; cellular coverage is great. It’s also only a 2-3 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to restaurants and the view has the sea in front and mount Olympus in the background.

wonderful location, metres away from the beach. easy to go for a swim anytime of the day. the beach is with stones, but very clean, we saw plenty of sea urchins and fishes. the flat was clean and it has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lina was very thoughtful and left things like salt, pepper, oil for us to use which is great when on holiday and you want to make a quick salad 🤗 we enjoyed our stay very much, thank you Lina for hosting us.

Eirini is an amazing host and was incredibly helpful. The place is spotless and exactly as described in the listing, with the added bonus of an incredible view.

It is a less common situation,in which the reality is quite superior to the photos. The location is right on the seashore and offers a dreamy view. The house is tastefully arranged,clean and equipped with absolutely everything for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The access road is beautiful through the olive grove and the neat and beautifully arranged yard. Our host was very cute,friendly and took care of all the details. If you want a great view,sea,quiet,relaxation and olive trees,here is the perfect place. Thank you so much for your dream moments here.

It's a nice big apartment, the bedrooms are well separated from the living room, so the kids can sleep comfortably while the adults are talking in the living room in the evening or making breakfast in the kitchen. The kitchen is otherwise very well equipped, unfortunately the hot water faucet didn't work, but everything else was great. The living room is nicely furnished and has very comfortable couches, and we often slept on them during the afternoon siesta. The air conditioning did its thing, the two appliances cooled the whole apartment down. The neighborhood is quieter than the beach promenade, but since it's the second street, it has traffic during daylight hours, thankfully the doors and windows block out the noise. On the small street next to the building, you can reach the beach in two minutes, and there's a great bakery across the street, which is where we always bought our breakfast. There are several shops and supermarkets within a few hundred meters. There is a private parking directly in the courtyard of the house for a motor vehicle. We had a good time, thanks to the kind hosts for everything!

The perfect getaway with amazing, friendly hosts. We just had a fantastic time. The house itself is so lovely and atmospheric and got everything you need and more. You have a fantastic terrace for a better view than any restaurant and a perfect sunrise watching spot where we synchronized with the rising sun every day. Katerina showered us with gifts: fresh vegetables, home made jam and fresh baked hearty, delicious pie. But the hosts that were not mentioned, and who were our guardians and best friends, were the two dog sisters Mona and Lisa. We will miss them dearly, probably even more than the view. Eirene’s place is really special, we believe it is in the best position in Kokkino Nero. So relaxing, the view is amazing, we enjoyed sunrises and early morning swims and breakfast on the balcony and evenings relaxing watching the waves. Eirene is also a great person who will go out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. We will be recommending this place to our family and friends, also Maria’s restaurant is a must to visit.
