My parents had a truly wonderful and comfortable stay at Irena’s place. From the moment we booked, communication was smooth, clear, and welcoming. Irena was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, ensuring everything was ready for an early check-in and going out of her way to make them feel at home. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged. My parents especially appreciated the peace, privacy, and convenience of having their own bathroom and kitchenette. Irena’s warmth and hospitality made all the difference – it felt more like a home than just accommodation. We’re genuinely grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

We had a short stay here to be close to relatives we were visiting and the house was very comfortable, spotless and very spacious for 5 adults. This property was perfect for our requirement. The location was outside the city centre, with a large supermarket 10mins walk away and a regular bus service 5mins away. It was a quiet and pleasant area. Monica communicated well before our arrival and was a lovely host. We also enjoyed chatting to her husband about Durham and his music projects! We mainly ate out, although did cook our own breakfast. I would have felt comfortable using the kitchen more. During our stay, it felt like Monica was available if we had needed anything, but was extremely courteous and respectful of us sharing the living spaces.

Deluxe Studio Apartment With Free Parking

The accommodation was superb with a very comfortable large bed, clean good quality crisp linen and comfortable pillow, we slept very well. There were great facilities in the accommodation with a smart TV, strong Wi Fi, 4 burner hob, microwave, cooking pots and implements, good quality crockery and cutlery, it is a great place to spend a few days. The bathroom had a nice spacious shower with plenty of hot water, the good quality towels, a hair dryer and toilet rolls provided. The room was large, well laid out with a table and chairs should you wish to self cater. The place was peaceful and quiet; Andrew had provided some information about Durham and the local amenities which included a pub close by which provided good quality not expensive meals. Andrew along with Lucy and Rachael were very friendly and attended to any enquiries very promptly and courteously - they were perfect hosts. There is car parking on the site along with a close bus into Durham. All excellent & very enjoyable.
