A very beautiful place . Accommodation was very comfortable and clean with all we needed .

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

Philippe's house is located in the center of the village of Felgar , a small village full of charm with its cobblestone streets. A change of scenery is guaranteed. Communication with Philippe was excellent , our host was always very responsive to the slightest request.

Great apartment. Lots of room. The church bells are loud so you have to get used to them. Daniel was great to work with.

Great stay. Spotlessly clean and tidy space. Well equipped with all the indispensable amenities and a few more. Very friendly and helpful host.

Peaceful and quiet place 5 minutes from Trancoso. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place. The place was very clean and air-conditioned (it's nice in August). Our hosts were available and responsive for the duration of the stay. We recommend

Emidio has a beautiful house in the middle of the Douro area. The place is secluded and quiet but if you are willing to drive through the beautiful scenery you can see many beautiful things. The house is full of comforts and a great place to relax. Extremely friendly host!

We loved it here! Rosa and Joao made us feel like family. Rosa is incredibly knowledgeable of the Village and the surrounding areas. The animals are friendly, you can walk through the areas without fear. The goats, Lemon (the donkey), Boss the puppy and so much more. Rosa should be the Mayor, she knows everyone and her friendly personality makes the entire Village glow. We were introduced to all the friendly people of the Aldeia Fuinhas. Rosa shared her knowledge of the cheese making process, I have new cheese making skills. The hostess with the mostest provided good wine, tasty orange cake, plenty of good herbal teas, the garden is bright and well maintained. I had a refreshing dip in the super clean pool on a hot day. Casa da Aldeia is a magical place for all ages to enjoy the surroundings and the Animals. You can find Joao or their friendly neighbor Joaquin milking the goats twice daily. You will love to see this fresh milk production; say cheese. We will see you again Rosa & Joao

Susana was so helpful and welcoming. The village is perfect for a calming, peaceful stay. We had everything we could have wanted and more. The bathroom and kitchen are very well appointed and clean, the dining and living area comfortable, cozy and warm in the evenings, the views from the terrace are stunning and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect if you want to be in nature, surrounded by fruit, flowers and trees with big sky and beautiful vistas. Would recommend a car to stay here. We had an amazing stay and we’ll be going back!

Everything was perfect

Great space for an outdoor vacation, in a quiet place and surrounded by nature. The house was great , and Andreia was always attentive, giving lots of recommendations on what to visit nearby. Definitely repeating!

Great hosts make a stay fantastic. Puri and Paulo are certainly the greatest hosts we have encountered ever. They elevate their quiet and peaceful apartment by their incredible generosity and friendliness. We arrived late afternoon to a welcome plate of local meats and cheeses all of which were delicious and the best that we have had on our visit to Portugal. We were expecting to have to find a local restaurant for dinner - however Puri had a roast chicken ready for us due to the late arrival! A proper free range country chicken - full of flavour. The fridge was stocked with breakfast items including lovelly fresh fruit and jams made by their small company - some of the best blueberry jam I have ever eaten. Paulo very kindly found a winery visit that was open (during harvest) and booked it for us and suggested some view pionts we should visit. Quanta Terra is in a must see building with great wines and a perfect host. Saddly that we only could stay 2 nights - we will be back.

I highly recommend Rita's house. Comfortable house, very clean, peaceful, very quiet and very well equipped. We received a very good welcome on our arrival. A perfect place for a short stay. We had one night at Sabina's place and would recommend it - centrally located, comfortable beds and roof terrace with great views over the town and surrounding hills.

The house, carefully equipped as a family home, exceeded expectations: impeccable cleaning, efficient heating in winter and a traditional, simple and tasteful decor. It offers the essentials with excellence, including in the package, typical village security and an authentic charm, away from the standard of mass tourism. Parking is on the street but it is easy and certain, as is the confidence of the host by providing utensils and towels at will — a gesture that deserves reciprocal respect. However, I had an initial difficulty: the address was not located by Google Maps/Waze, as it is in a rural village. I contacted the host who was promptly solicitous and everything resolved. Despite this small logistical challenge, the experience was perfect. For those seeking a cost-effective connection of simplicity, values respect for space and details, as well as seeking an authentic and welcoming experience, I recommend without hesitation! Tip: combine details of the advance route

Fantastic house. Everything was impeccable. A place with absolute tranquility and superb outdoor facilities for children. Rui is a great host and very friendly, he was always aware of any needs or issues we had. A highly recommended house to stay.

On arrival we had dear Daniela and André waiting for us to show us the house and hand over the key. We arrived well after Check in and the way they received us made us as soon as we felt at home. They brought a ball of meat so we could eat something on arrival. The house is amazing for those looking to escape the city and wake up listening to only the birds in the morning. It is surrounded by a gorgeous forest, with several untapped trails and breathtaking views. It was exactly what we were looking for. Although the house is away from the city, it is only a 5 minute drive away by car. The house has a huge pool, and all rooms in the house are spacious. Kitchen equipped with everything you can imagine, and in the room we find plenty of board games to entertain the little ones. It was 4 days of absolute rest and it is a place to return. Leave our thanks to Catarina who was tireless and responsible to everything. Recommend and we'll be back soon.
