the Poplars Cottage

Our cottage is set in the corner of a 100 acre mostly wooded tract in rural Floyd County. The site is open, but surrounded by mature trees. You will enjoy the quiet private setting. Our cottage is good for couples and small families. The Town of Floyd, six miles away, hosts restaurants, a coffee shop, and gift shops. The Floyd Country Store hosts the renowned Friday Night Jamboree featuring local bluegrass, while other restaurants host a variety of music on weekends and during the week.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Homeplace

The Homeplace is in the rural countryside of Floyd, VA surrounded by a family farm with a winding creek nearby. You will enjoy beautiful views of pasture fields that may have cattle and sheep grazing and possibly see various wildlife. This home, built in the 1940’s and situated beside a paved road, has been lived in and gently loved. While experiencing the nostalgia of an old home you will also enjoy modern conveniences such as WIFI, central heat/air, and a fully stocked kitchen and bath.

T's Place

The space is a recently renovated basement studio with a private entrance. There is a parking place for you and a lighted path to the left that leads down to the studio. The studio has a queen bed, a bathroom with tub and shower and a dressing room area that some use for an office. The kitchen has most anything you will need. We live upstairs, so you will hear footsteps and kitchen activity. The yard is huge and fenced- in, perfect for pets. The walk to Lane Stadium is only 15 minutes!
