Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pilanesberg National Park

This cabana at kwa Maritane Bush lodge is fantastic. You have a fantastic view over Pilanesberg and we saw a lot of animals including an elephant, but also monkeys and a lot of impala and zebra right in front of the cabana. The cabana has everything you need and the main bedroom is very beautiful and has a beautiful balcony. The cabana is in a very good condition and is spacious. The facilities at the lodge are great. The restaurant is very good and is very well situated with a beautiful view over Pilanesberg. The guides are well educated and Pilanesberg is a beautiful park. The cabana is very close to all the facilities of the lodge. Staff is friendly. Geir is a very friendly and informative host.

We rented this place for several families as a homebase for 40th bday celebrations over the course of the weekend. Really great space for big contingent with big rooms, lots of common space, lots of amenities and opportunities for hosting and fun. We were lucky that even though it's going into winter, sun was out and sky cloudless so it didn't get bitterly cold in the open common spaces. Even so, there are many fireplaces scattered about. Will be a great venue particularly in spring / summer for anything from multi family or friend holiday home base in Harties to bachelor party venue. (Not being in an estate or similar means noise also isn't an issue). PS, there's a nice deck for any avid skywatchers. Brought my telescope along and had some great lunar, stellar and planetary views

This was the perfect location for our family get-together. Each family had their own area and the common area was spacious and exceedingly comfortable. The kitchen had to be one of the best equipped kitchens we have encountered during rented stays. But the best thing about Janine's place was the staff. They were truly outstanding. From the knowledgeable rangers to the warm and welcoming lodge staff, they are to be commended for their efforts. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodge to others looking for a treat in the bush.

What a pleasant stay at this beautiful house. felt at home and the place was just as on pics and even better. the estate is quiet and ideal for family setting. Rassie the host was also very helpful and patient. thank aoo much. would come back

It was a lovely stay. Nice big space. It is exactly like the pictures. The host was very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely go back. Very nice for a group of friends or for big families.

Linda was very helpfull with accomodating us and our dogs. She checked in daily to ensure we were fine and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Can definitly recommend them for a relaxing family stay.

Absolutely beautiful spot. As we walked around the place got better and better. Will definitely visit again.

There was a double booking so Pieter gave us the Manor House instead. We really appreciated this. The facilities are very nice, but the stunning mountain view is what made this extra special for us.

Allan is a kind and gracious host. His place is gorgeous! Its clean, quaint and bang in the middle of nature. Loved the art, tons of gorgeous books and games. The pool is to die for. Its more breathtaking than the pics, esp in afternoons. The pool is elevated on a hill so you have a panoramic view of surrounding mountains on one side and the magalies bush on the other. The view from this pool was better than the one I experienced at a jacuzzi in a castle in Tuscany. Thanks again Allan. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We (dog included) enjoyed a wonderful stay on the farm. The description Sam gives on Air BnB is highly accurate. Perfect getaway from the city, enjoying the quiet and stillness of the farm. A nice walk along the farm roads was excellent. All the amenities were included, just bring some basics like Salt & Pepper, cooking oil etc. All in all a great stay, highly recommended!

I still feel that i am still in a dream. The house was very spacious. the kitchen was excellent to cook. all the equipment in the kitchen were great. very quiet but very nice for kids everywhere on the farm. kids had a chance to feed the bottle to the baby goats. There were goats , sheep, dogs and horses. it was a heaven for kids. Usually we travel often but it is the first time to see my kid is so sad and feels emptiness in her heart when she arrives at home. Danie and his wife, even his 5 year old handsome young child are so kind. all the animals are in peace. it was a blessing to be there. We believe that they are always ready to bless people who visit their farm.

Great stay! We had a wedding nearby and this was the perfect place to spend the night. Pieter was very good responding to all our communications and the accommodation is situated in an EXTREMELY beautiful location. The only thing i would advise to double check is the location of the accommodation as the co-ordinates on AirBnB differ from the actual pin location. Other than that I would certainly recommend👏

I enjoyed my stay at Dikhololo, the place was clean and peaceful. My unit had everything I needed it felt like home. Thee activities there are to die for!! and catered for everyone to enjoy 😉. I personally enjoyed everything, I experienced everything that was on the advert and more. Definitely a place to visit again 😌.

Our stay at this lovely farm was so delightful. It’s a well equipped house with a gorgeous view, swimming area, and an easily accessible walking trail. The hostess, Gael, was very proactive and friendly ensuring our time there was quite memorable.

Andi is incredible to communicate with, she was helpful, friendly and her response time is quick. Great value for money!

Host Geoff went out of his way to make us welcome and to accommodate all our requests.

Hills and Dales is a lovely place conveniently close to Lanseria Airport, the Cradle of Mankind and the Magalies Mountain area. We also enjoyed the lovely view. Our unit was very comfortable and the amenities great. I will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic stay - had everything we wanted. Far more chalets than we expected but perfectly clean and everything we needed in the kitchen and otherwise. Communication was super easy and both Irma and Natasha were very friendly and helpful.

The location is beautiful and peaceful, the perfect place to relax and read your book. Would have loved to have spent more time there.
