House holiday rentals in Pico Island

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

Great view, modern and well equipped house. Each bedroom has an own bathroom which is great + everything looks like in the pictures. The host was very flexible with the check-in and there were some welcome snacks and water upon arrival. We would come back :)

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei Jörg und Plonja! Der Empfang war herzlich, die Kommunikation super unkompliziert. Alles war außergewöhnlich sauber – so gepflegt haben wir keine andere Unterkunft auf den Azoren erlebt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, Bäder und Küche top, der Außenbereich mit Pool, Sauna und Meerblick ein Traum. Trotz Nähe der Gastgeber hat man volle Privatsphäre. Even before we arrived, we had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed. We received all the necessary information in advance. The house is on a quiet street. The view, the pool and the evening atmosphere are indescribable! At around 10 p.m. the Cory's Shearwaters come back from hunting and hold their "concert" for about 30 minutes. A unique experience that is rare outside of the Azores. The house is very well equipped, you can cook really well and there are also great restaurants not far away. It was super clean. We were given a very warm welcome and everything was explained and shown to us thoroughly. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house!

HANDS DOWN our group of fours' FAVORITE place we have EVER stayed with the most gracious host we have ever encountered. The doors were not only functional, they allowed every part of the house to connect with the outdoors and the ocean. We had several nights in cooking in the kitchen (which had everything needed) because we had a better view than the amazing restaurants that Nicolau had PERSONALLY showed us in a quick town tour after checking us in. He also connected with the restaurant owners to advise who was open and the fresh catch of the day. We all slept so soundly to the sound of the ocean. I felt like I already knew Nicolau the moment he met us as he had provided so much information even before we arrived in Pico. We literally are planning the next time we can return and we cannot do Pico without Nicolau and this special place.

This is an absolutely wonderful place. It is a beautiful modern gem with INCREDIBLE views of the oceans. António was so helpful with the check in and check out process. Also having a parking spot come with this place is so helpful in Sao Jorge!

Lovely modern house. Showers were great and beds really comfortable. Excellent quality of fixtures and fittings (particularly the hairdryer). Nice view from the balcony in the ground floor bedroom. Location good, car essential, only a short drive from either the port or airport. Easy access to some great walks, views and rock/lava formations. Warm welcome and thoughtful hamper of traditional local produce on arrival.

I really loved my stay at this house. It was absolutely gorgeous and such an idyllic location. It was everything i needed to relax for a couple of days. Susete was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. I would definitely recommend stressing here.

I’ve had three fantastic nights at Adega do Garajau. The house is very rustic, cosy and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The place is super clean and well taken care of. The location is spectacular just by the ocean with uninterrupted views of the water and across the water views of Sao Jorge island. All in all I am super happy choosing this lovely and charming adega and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful and convenient base to explore the island of Pico!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Le quartier est tranquille et un chemin de randonnée passe juste à côté ce qui a été une agréable surprise. Le logement était parfait pour nos besoins et la vue sur l’océan était agréable. Aurélie avait laissé un petit panier de produits locaux pour nous ce qui a été grandement apprécié après notre long voyage. Il n’y a pas de grandes épiceries dans le village mais nous arrêtions dans les plus grandes villes dont Lajes de Pico qui est à 15 minutes après nos excursions donc très facile de se ravitailler. Je recommande ce charmant logement.

We love the house. Marcelo was very friendly and hospitable. He welcomed us with a bottle of white wine, a loaf of bread, a big chunk of cheese, and a big bottle of water. He has provided lots of information regarding restaurants and sights. The house is very conveniently located. It is near the airport, close by to the ferry station and wine museum and restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

Alles war perfekt, die Unterkunft ist schön eingerichtet, der Ausblick ist der Wahnsinn! Teilweise saßen wir mit dem vorhandenen Fernglas nur draußen und konnten Delfine beobachten! Die Natur-Pools sind auch auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Das Häuschen von Fátima liegt in einer absolut ruhigen Gegend und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Haushalt ist alles vorhanden und auch sonst kann man wunderbar abschalten und die Natur geniessen: Sonne tanken auf der Terrasse, den Ausblick auf das Meer in sich aufsaugen, Eidechsen, Fledermäusen zuschauen & nachts Sturmtaucher hören… Einfach wunderbar. Durch Waschmaschine und auch sonst alles, kann man hier ewig lang verweilen. Wir können dieses Haus absolut weiterempfehlen und kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder!

Laura ist sehr nett und witzig. Sie hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist herrlich, wir hatten eine super Zeit auf Pico, auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren, wenn auch leider viel zu kurzen Aufenthalt in Ivans wunderschönem Haus. Selten sehen bei Airbnb Unterkünfte noch besser aus als auf den Fotos, aber bei Ivan stimmte einfach alles. Da unsere Airline uns den Flug nach Pico storniert hatte, kamen wir viel später als geplant erst am späten Abend an, aber Ivan war die ganze Zeit via Nachrichten für uns da und begrüßte uns auch nach 22 Uhr noch unglaublich herzlich und zeigte uns sein wundervolles Haus, in dem auch schon ein paar hausgemachte Leckereien auf uns warteten. Der Meerblick vor der Terrasse ist einfach wundervoll! Leider waren wir viel zu kurz auf der Insel, um noch mehr Zeit dort zu verbringen und mehr von Ivans Empfehlungen zu folgen, aber wir kommen bestimmt wieder und würden dann immer wieder hier übernachten wollten. Sonia’s house in Faja Ouvidor is just a little wonder! The house has everything you may need. I have stayed in many airbnb’s, but have never seen the place so clean. The location is perfect both for peaceful vacation and for exploring beautiful Sao Jorge. The view from the patio is to die for! I enjoyed many breakfasts and dinners there, even if the weather was not the best sometimes. I had a great wonderful relaxing time there and I would love to come back next time in summer season to enjoy this magical place again :)

Ich war das 7.Mal auf Pico. Nach 6 Jahren Pause warJonas' Haus das beste, was ich hätte finden können. Es war einfach perfekt. Ich suchte es ruhig, Natur verbunden und in guter Erreichbarkeit zum Whale Watching in Lajes. Joana hat mir sogar schnell noch einen Fön und einen Toaster gebracht und das Bett war unglaublich gemütlich. Ich habe bei offenem Fenster geschlafen und dem Meer und den Cagarros zugehört ❤️ Danke für 12 Tage Paradies. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Liebe Grüße an Dich und Deine Familie, Joana. ❤️

This place was a treat! Marianna’s place is meticulously decorated and makes you feel like you entered your own private vacation house. Such a relaxing atmosphere with a breathtaking view over the blue with some sightings of the neighbouring island. Marianna went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed in order to fully enjoy our stay in Pico. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and the great recommendations she gave us. She’s a wonderful hostess and person with great energy. I am very happy I got to meet her. Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit großartiger Aussicht von der Terrasse! Das Haus ist schön ruhig gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation vorab war äußerst unkompliziert und angenehm. Definitiv eine Empfehlung für einen Aufenthalt auf Pico!

Wir hatten bei Susana einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Susana war super nett und hilfsbereit. Ein toller Gastgeber. Das Haus von Susana ist gut gelegen, 2-3min zu Fuß entfernt ist ein toller Platz zum Baden. Zu der wunderschönen Hochebene beim Berg Pico, ist es mit dem Auto nicht weit und auch zum Whale Watching ist es nicht weit. Im Haus war alles was man braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantástico lugar, precioso y acogedor! ideal para ir con niños y disfrutar del jardín y los juguetes de la casa. Lugar limpio, camas cómodas, cocina equipada, todo tipo de detalles han hecho nuestra esrancia muy agradable. Amfitriona muy amable y receptiva! nos dejó un pack de bienvenida y siempre atenta a li que pudieramos necesitar. Excelente!
