Todd was an amazing host, very responsive and even got on a call to help us when i had a clarification and stayed on until it was The Cottage is amazing and filled with amenities that we would probably need a whole day to properly enjoy. The spot, the cottage is located and the rear view from the cottage, rooms, or even from the decks are stunning. Such a peaceful environment for proper retreat. It was a proper disconnect since some carriers didn't even have mobile reception sometimes in the cottage. Everything was setup and easy to find, especially the paddle boats, life jackets, and even the battery for the electrically operated boat was visibly placed. The fireplaces were setup so it was pretty easy to enjoy than spending time on setting up anything. The basement is more suitable for pet friendly guests compared to the rest of the cottage. Really loved the cozy vibe and stay. Would definitely look forward to be there again.

Was a great stay! Beautiful lake and cottage. Very clean and no shortage of things to do! Jordi was very communicative and checking in and out was seamless.

The view was absolutely stunning, and the easy access to the lake made our stay even better. The highlight, though, was the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day by the water. A peaceful and beautiful spot for sure!

Absolutely beautiful place and so well equipped. I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s and it’s not an exaggeration to say this is the best equipped one I’ve ever been to. Anything and everything you could think of. It’s also a great space, such incredible views and we loved the hot tub and the kayaks. Christina was an excellent host, brilliant communication and also some lovely welcome treats for our four year old, very cute. We loved our stay. The only thing I would say is if you travel as a party of four adults or older children, beware the light in the summer. The awesome floor to ceiling glass in much of the living room means it was very light very ealry when we visited in June. It didn’t matter as we bought our little one in with us, but something to bear in mind if you aren’t a party who can do that.

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

Dan was a great host and the place was exactly what was mentioned. The lake view from the cottage was very good. The hot tub and sauna makes this location perfect spot to spend some time away from city hassle. I would definitely visit this place again.

This was our second time staying at John and Crystal’s cottage - we came back after 3 years because we had such a great experience the first time, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! John and Crystal were incredibly accommodating and always responded to our questions promptly. Their communication was clear, friendly, and made our stay smooth and stress-free. The cottage is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway, and there’s so many activities to do. We truly appreciate their hospitality and would definitely love to return again next year. ❤️ Highly recommend! love the peace and quiet, being unplugged, there was great fishing close by. cottage was fully stocked with everything needed and then some.

Everything about our stay at Rocky Shore Drive was spectacular. This place is roomy with all the comforts of home. Quality furniture is found throughout the place . The home is grand , bright with all its windows , comfy and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lots of extra linens and blankets are also available. Kitchen is fully stocked with drip coffee, a bodum, electric kettle , a microwave , dishwasher and a toaster oven. You will also find two large fridges with ice makers and water dispenser and two Jen-air stoves . Main living room has a super comfy sectional , big screen tv and a fireplace . **look for Woody in the main living room :) Upstairs ; a computer work station , a couple recliners and two bedrooms along with a washroom . Both washrooms were stocked with fresh towels and basic shower supplies; Shampoo n body soap . The basement ; a pool table , rummoli game , a drinking game , lots of books and puzzles to be found as well. Five stars all around ?

This cottage was perfect for our golf trip. Seguin Valleys golf course was just 25 minutes away and the cottage had a nice back deck and dock to hang out on after our games.

We stayed at Tyler, Steph, and Julie's cottage for a Fall fishing trip and it was the perfect spot! The lake is excellent for fishing, large and many places to scope out for all hours of the day... the firepit space was a great fit for our group of 5 to enjoy (we had forgotten our chairs and were thankful to see all the outdoor seating!) The cottage was one of the most well stocked Airbnb's we have stayed in, lots of helpful items in the kitchen. Our group noted we really would love to come back in the Summer time - there were so many games, a horseshoe pit, a whole separate bunkie, and lots of water toys that left us wanting to come back when the temps/waters are warmer with more friends for a true cottage staycation. 5/5, thank you for hosting us!

We spent the Thanksgiving long weekend at Katie’s cottage and had a great time. The whole scene is absolutely amazing and the Fall colours and lake view is just breathtaking. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice—it was even better in person. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. This is a very peaceful and well maintained cottage. We enjoyed our vacation there and made use of all the amenities, including BBQ, kayaking, bon fire, pool, foose ball, TV, and more. Everything in the home was as it was described and we'll recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome experience in and around McKellar.

We had an amazing girls weekend at this cozy cottage! The space was perfect – just the right amount of room for our group to relax, play games, and enjoy some quality time together. It was colder than expected, but the cottage was warm and inviting, making it the perfect escape. Heidi was a fantastic host – super helpful, kind, and easy to communicate with. We’d absolutely come back again!

The Hilltop Cottage was comfortable and welcoming in a beautiful location in the forest with a view of Georgian Bay. The food at the restaurant on the bay was excellent, the location was beautiful, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The Glenn Burney Host was welcoming and responsive. It was a very relaxing and refreshing place.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Julie and Kevin’s cottage, and it suited 2 couples perfectly. The home was easy to find, and clean and inviting upon entry. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and had plenty of seating. Our timing was perfect for the fabulous views from the deck of the stunning fall colours. We also lucked out on warm weather and calm water, so sitting by the fire at the waters edge every night was peaceful and relaxing.

If you are looking for a beautiful, tranquil setting this is your place. The home was as described, clean and very well stocked. The outdoor area, fire pit and location are one of a kind. In October the fall colours were beautiful, would highly recommend James’ place for a peaceful getaway.
