Holiday rentals with lake access in Picardy

Very responsive and friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble. Our favourites were the sun trap patio, the hot tub, the pellet heater, and the children's / teenage play area upstairs The bedrooms are lovely and big but there was nowhere in them to put anything on (make up, creams, combs, jewellery etc) , like a dressing table or a shelf.

Had a great overnight stay at this lovely house, whilst walking the via francigena. Very clean with good facilities. Walkers make sure you bring food provisions - nothing available locally.

The house is very nice located with a great terrace. For rainy weather, there is even a covered space under the regular terrace. The decor is very complete and tidy. The communication with Martine was friendly warm. She was quick to respond if we had a question. We enjoyed a fantastic stay. Our cat was also allowed to come with Martine and loved the long windowsill as a view point of the very spacious garden. I can highly recommend this lovely house.

Charlotte's house is one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in! A fantastic location and a place with history. The house is a 400-year-old cider press. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house in a beautiful, peaceful environment with lovely heated swimming pool. Hosts were very attentive and easy to get hold of. Lots of very useful information about the area, activities and places to eat before and on arrival. We booked Champagne tours and meal at Chateau de Sacy well before arriving. Perfect location for exploring the Champagne region.

Very pleasant stay at Ana's with our two children, the house is very comfortable and Ana has put everything in place to make us feel good. To be repeated!

Excellent stay at Pierre and Barbara's cottage. Pierre's welcome was very friendly and warm. His tips (walking around the surroundings, bakery and catering) were perfect. The cottage is very functional and very nicely arranged. The garden is beautiful and soothing. Several places to rest or enjoy the calm and birds. Everything was charming. A true haven of peace as soon as you walk through the gate. The bakery located in front of the property offers 24-hour pizzas via a distributor: excellent! And the baker is very happy to tell us the story of this distributor. Our stay was too short to enjoy Barbara's picnic idea and the bikes available but it will be for another time. We're already talking about coming back, it was so great. Thanks to Pierre and Barbara for the sharing and intention they offer us.

We have not had such welcoming and helpful Airbnb hosts before! The accommodation was in a lovely garden seperate from the main house. We chose the location based on proximity to family, local shopping area and the RER with a quick link to central Paris.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was very clean, and the apartment had all the necessary amenities. It’s conveniently located near metro stations, which made getting around or to the center of Paris very easy. The owner was very friendly and always responded promptly. I would definitely stay here again!

The studio has a great location - a 5-minute walk to a subway station (line 1), a grocery store (Franprix with a Lavazza vending machine), and good restaurants (Avenue de Paris). Also within a 5-minute walk is Chateau de Vincennes which is worth seeing. You can get to the Louvre in 20 minutes by Metro. The host Patrice is a very nice person and speaks French and English. We spent 5 wonderful nights at this place in May, 2025 Tatyana and Rumen Toronto, Canada

A wonderful find - great studio flat with an unbeatable balcony and supremely well located for cool local restaurants, amazing Pantin architecture and great transport. Lucas was the ideal host, very responsive, friendly, clear instructions and exceptionally helpful, highly recommended!

Thank you! :) Clean apartment which is perfect for 2 adults with 1-2 kids. Area is quiet. Short walk to Val d Europe station. Cafeterias, restaurants and supermarket are close to apartment. Perfect location for Disneyland visit and you can see fireworks from the balcony.

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at the flat. As a group of 8 with 4 young children, there was plenty of space for us all. Communication was great, always responsive and easy to check in. We spent 3 days in Disney, flat was perfectly located, only a 15minutes walk (although there is a bus if you prefer). Area was peaceful, with a lovely lake to walk around and handy for a local bakery, restaurants, shops and play park all within 5-10min walk. We would definitely stay again.

Sophie’s Shoebox in the sky is a special gift to visitors to Paris. The 19th Arr. is a perfect escape from the tourist hoods of Paris. To ‘live like a local’ in a quiet, sensitively designed apartment where the amenities and views are perfect & close to the metro, best food and the stunning park makes a Paris experience a unique and treasured experience. This was a fantastic Airbnb. It was clean, spacious, well-maintained and had lots of little extras. The neighbourhood is lovely and the stores and restaurants around the complex are excellent. We enjoyed going to the bakery every morning and enjoying our breakfast on the balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the lake. It is close to the bus and tram. It is a bit further from Paris attractions, but once you figure out the public transit system, the amenities and surroundings make the distance worthwhile.

Wonderful experience for our week-long family holiday. The hosts are extremely welcoming and the house very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The terrace facing the lake is a real plus. Thank you for a great stay!

We had an unforgettable 3 days. The cottage and its garden make a perfect combination for those looking for comfort and relaxation. Naima did everything we could to make us feel at home. Very pleasant stay near Pointe du Hourdel. Comfortable and quiet accommodation. Bikes and binoculars available so you can enjoy the nearby bike paths and admire the seals and birds.

My last visit to the "City of Love" was still from my school days. This visit was associated with many beautiful memories. Accordingly, I was full of positive expectations. All of these were confirmed. Claude and her husband are perfect hosts who are very concerned and eager about the well-being of their respective guests. The location of this property was perfect for my needs, as it can quickly lead to the city center of Paris if you want, but on the other hand, it has such a quiet and relaxing character that only local recreation areas or spa centers can offer. A perfect place to slow down and escape the sometimes stressful everyday life. Overall, this offer is also very suitable for long-term stays and highly recommended. I thank them both for helping to make my second visit to Paris an unforgettable experience.

We had a pleasant weekend. Very quiet, very pretty house, well equipped, easy to access and comfortable. Our cat and dog also enjoyed it with all this great natural space. The surrounding walks are very peaceful with the Seine. And Barbara, discreet but always available as needed. We recommend this place!!

Carey & Sarah's place was perfect for our young family. Spotlessly clean and in a great location to access Camber and Rye. Beds were very comfy and the house had everything we could need, including high chair, stair gates and playroom which made staying with small children very stressfree! We will definitely return :)

We stayed at Jacque & Patricia's place for the weekend. The cottage park is very peaceful and great for a romantic weekend. The house is spacious, well equipped and clean. It even has a nice collection of CDs which we enjoyed, giving our weekend a retro feel. The village is either a couple of minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot. You can find there a supermarket, two bakeries, a café, a pharmacy and a restaurant. We spoiled our ourselves with a nice meal at the restaurant in the first evening. There are some maps with suggested walks in the area. We took some of the advice and did a nice walk in the picturesque village Monthermé, and visited some more villages in the area. In short, highly recommended!

We had a great time at Evelyne's place. Her home is a haven of peace, ideal for relaxing and disconnecting from everyday life. The accommodation is perfectly equipped and very comfortable.
