It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

The property is very spacious and is located in a quiet hillside place. Everything necessary was available on-site. We met Alessia and her family in person and the two are very nice, helpful and easily accessible at all times. The only drawback is the wifi and cell phone reception.

In a small hamlet of Villa di Chiavenna, Pietro offers a small apartment, perfect for solo travelers or a couple. Tastefully furnished and well-equipped, the apartment is the ideal choice for staying in a quiet and well-located area. For those who love to walk, the apartment is just a few minutes' walk from the typical crotti and the mule tracks that climb through a beautiful and varied forest, until they join the panoramic road. Challenging routes, but it's worth it! I recommend spending at least three nights in San Pietro. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding area.

Stay with couples of friends for New Year's. Francesca was really helpful and very nice. She provided us with all the detailed instructions to find and access the accommodation via message, along with all the relevant info. The accommodations are practically new, recently furnished, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The two apartments are on the same landing, so practically communicating, great for small groups. Nearby is the city center, with various clubs and services all just minutes away. In summary, we really enjoyed ourselves and I would also recommend this property to others.

The converted stable is a homey feel-good apartment. It has been furnished with love and is equipped with everything you need. We were able to drive down perfectly and explore the Bergell hiking. Highly recommended :-)
