Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. WIFI connection available. Crockery, linen and towels provided. Pets welcome. Reserved parking. Breakfast on request.

La nostra splendida e accogliente casina è situata nell'incantevole paesino di Tereglio nella splendida valle del Serchio in provincia di Lucca a 6km dalla riserva naturale dell'orrido di Botri e a 10 km dal Parco avventure Canyon Park. La casa si trova nel centro del paese, il parcheggio si trova distante circa 60 m. Presenza di strutture ricettive. La casa è un ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare anche i paesi vicini come Barga e Coreglia, tutti e due tra i borghi più belli d'Italia.

This was my first experience with an airbnb and wow…. It was amazing. Monica is a beautiful person! Very helpful, kind and just a super host overall. Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.
