Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

The home of the Codirosso: timeless soul in Tuscany

“La dimora del Codirosso” is my historic family home in which I rent a part to those who travel or seek rest, rediscovering the atmosphere of the past. The house is hidden in a small medieval village in the Norther Tuscany, Brucciano, among the tranquility of the woods and mountains of Garfagnana's area. On request I’ll be happy to prepare for you a delicious Italian breakfast or other meals but, remember, these service are not included in the price.

The property, which was once a stable, has been renovated in a rustic style, while maintaining the true essence of the shepherds' houses. Inside you will find a charming atmosphere, with a fireplace, built-in kitchen, and handmade furnishings. From the bedroom window, the marble quarries are shown in all their beauty. Outside is a relaxation area

The Fox's Lair

The house is a rustic stone and wood house in the Apuan Alps park, an ideal place for those who want to take walks in the woods and get to know and visit the attractions of Versilia and Tuscany between the sea and mountains. The house consists of a full kitchen and has a wood stove or heat pumps for heating, a double sofa bed, and on the second floor the full bedroom and full bathroom, and outside a terrace, then a loft with a single bed.

Fully equipped new kitchen and renovated bathroom, and a private balcony with view on the Apuan Alps.

The appartment is a bilocal with bathroom (shower/hydromassage), kitchen and a comfortable bedroom fitted with double-size bed and two single beds. The appartment is surraunded by a beautiful garden with a gazebo, a wood oven and a barbecue. Disabled people are wellcome.
