Anson Bay Lodge is a beautifully peaceful property which will feel like you home away from home. We have two 1-bedroom cottages (stand alone) and two 2-bedroom units (as a duplex). There is also a 3-bedroom holiday home on the property. Both the cottages and units are self contained with their own kitchen, dining, bathroom, lounge and outdoor barbeque. Great for families with lots of room outside to play in the gardens. Guests are advised to arrange a hire car as a priority, there are several companies available.

Debbie was helpful especially because our flight was cancelled twice - she accommodated for an extended stay and checked in on us twice, and brought over an avocado.

We actually ended to stay in 2 bedroom apartment as we had a friend travelling with us. Debbie kindly changed our reservation. She also arranged a car hire which was waiting for us at the airport and we left it at the airport on our departure. Nothing was a problem, she kept friendly communication and the place is in a close proximity to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Car is a must at the island if you want to explore all the beauty and reach some amazing walks. There is a note about WIFI at the unit which say limited on the listing but the wifi is very good with a different log in and password than listed. You will also get a local mobile which will allow you to make a local calls. We had a great time despite some rainy days.

We had a lovely stay in Unit 4 for 3 nights this week, despite the weather. The unit was clean, well appointed and very comfortable!! Imogen, who checked us in and was our point of contact, was kind, thoughtful and always available with a friendly smile and advice when requested. We thought the snack on arrival was very generous, the use of a local phone very handy and unexpected and the extra blanket for the chilly nights helped to make our stay comfortable and cosy. The location is great - a nice walk into town. Next time we would use a hire car available from the villas - we didn't realise they could provide that as well!

Overall I was quite happy with the property. It was as described in the listing and had everything needed for my stay. The kitchen had plenty of utensils. Internet was very slow - but that's more a Norfolk Island problem rather than one specific to Kate's place. The setting was pleasant and mostly quiet, though it is quite close to a shooting range, so you will hear that during the day. I am happy to recommend the Anson Bay Lodge.
