Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Phewa Lake

This Airbnb is the top floor of The Kings Hotel on 16th Street in Pokhara. The hosts seem new to Airbnb as is most of Nepal, and perhaps didn’t know he selected ‘reach out to host’ as the check in option. Just clarify address and check-in instructions when you book or before you get to Pokhara. The room was an awesome apartment. We stayed in a fancy hotel as well on this trip and this was better value for money. There is room service and competent staff at the counter. It is right in the middle of the Few section of Pokhara :)

Centrally located with an amazing view.

Lekhanath and his family are really kind and courteois. While the pictures on airbnb were a little outdated, it still was a calm and relaxing place that immidiately felt like home. So if youre looking for an authentic and familiar guesthouse outside of the busy lakeside in pokhara, you are at the right place.

Wonderful host and easy accomodation to settle into. The bed is super comfortable, we didn’t use the kitchen but was able to use the washing machine which was easy. Host gave us recommendations for places to check out and was very helpful. Location feels safe. A bit of a walk depending on where you want to be but a good choice if you want to be away from the main touristy roads

I rented a lovely bedsit for 1 month. It had everything I needed. Good hot shower. Nice kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Also secure parking for my motorcycle. Ramchandra and his his wife are extremely lovely people. Very friendly and helpful. There are good walks upto Methlang village view point. You can see the anapurna range on a clear day. I will return.

Our stay at DND apartment was exactly what we expected. The location is just perfect, two minutes walk to the cheapest and most handy supermarket, and only ten minutes walk from the lakeside and all the amazing trekkings to do near the city. When we arrived, Sra welcomed us super kindly and helped us settling down. As we stayed for a whole month, she provided us with very useful kitchen equipment and even tea and some veggies. You can tell that the apartment is new, well-kept, and perfectly equipped. Moreover, you can see Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna from the terrace! We definitely recommend it, as it is super comfortable for a couple or someone traveling alone and needing a long term stay. Thank you Sra and Indra!

10-12 minutes from lakeside . It is up in the mountains. Has most of the amenities. Wi-Fi is ok , it works then dies but it’s not super bad. it’s nice to book the whole home and have privacy to ourselves. overall 4/5 . 👍🏾

It was a lovely 10 day visit in a small village near Pokhara. I can recommend it to everyone, who wants a peaceful, authentic nepalese experience with great views on the annapurna mountains. If i ever visit nepal again, i will come to stay here. Suraj, Rama, Narayan, the neighbours and the uncle, i am glad i have gotten to know you guys! Best regards, Ole.

Thanu’s place is perfect to feel at home. The rooms are cosy & clean , there is always hot water, the view from the terrace on the mountains is fantastic, the location in a quiet Street nearby Lakeside is perfect . Thanu’s brother Laxman was a perfect host, he helped us with the organisaton of trips. The paragliding & daytrip in the mountains where so beautiful ! I would certainly book again. Highly reccommended!

Felt right at home during my shirt stay. The host goes above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable. The Christmas dinner by the fire was warm a surprise and I would love to come back for it.

Ubicacion perfecta, habitaciones amplias y limpias. Todo y estar muy cerca de las calles principales es muy tranquilo.

房间还不错，喜欢门口的小沙发，客厅有一张小床。卫生间稍微有些老旧，建议装一些挂钩，如果你也是冬天去，洗澡要放在下午或者傍晚，晚了可能没热水。厨房很大，但是灯坏了，一盏灯晚上有点暗。房东人很好，很多行程和活动是房东帮忙安排和购票的，很方便，调料也是去楼上房东的房间拿的，总体来说挺好的👍晚上没有热水洗澡希望提醒一下后来的旅客，避免尴尬😅
