This place is a true gem. Tucked away in a private compound surrounded by jungle, it offered the perfect mix of peace, comfort, and natural beauty. The home itself is made of stone and wood, which gives it a really grounded, earthy feel, and the design balances rustic charm with modern comfort beautifully. Waking up to the view of the lake and the sound of birds, with banana trees and herbs just outside the door, felt like a dream. It’s incredibly private and quiet—ideal for anyone looking to unplug and recharge. At the same time, everything inside is well thought out and comfortable, from the cozy living spaces to the subtle touches that make the place feel special. I really appreciated how it felt both tucked into nature and still very much a luxurious stay. The host and their family were so warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. It made the experience feel even more special and cared for. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a peaceful, inspiring retreat in nature.

10-12 minutes from lakeside . It is up in the mountains. Has most of the amenities. Wi-Fi is ok , it works then dies but it’s not super bad. it’s nice to book the whole home and have privacy to ourselves. overall 4/5 . 👍🏾

This stay was great! Kiran is a great and friendly host who takes care of the guest. The house is beautiful, secure, very clean, and has a great location. The housekeeper is also very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this stay for anyone going to Pokhara, everything was perfect. I definitely will be back the next time I come to Nepal.

The property was exactly as described and very quit and peaceful. There was a nice cafe to eat at the property and the views of the area were amazing. I was visiting with 3 friends and we each had our own room and bathroom. I would recommend anyone staying here to make sure they have transportation to the town - we had our own car so there was no issue. Otherwise I would tell anyone to stay here!

Lovely place, Bishnu, who takes care of the place was very kind and helpful. Well located, just set back from the main road, great view from the balcony and terrace. The only negative is it is quite basically equipped - they could do with a few more day to day things for the apartment (like sponges, tea towels, bin bags etc). Otherwise all was great. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely 10 day visit in a small village near Pokhara. I can recommend it to everyone, who wants a peaceful, authentic nepalese experience with great views on the annapurna mountains. If i ever visit nepal again, i will come to stay here. Suraj, Rama, Narayan, the neighbours and the uncle, i am glad i have gotten to know you guys! Best regards, Ole.

Thanu’s place is perfect to feel at home. The rooms are cosy & clean , there is always hot water, the view from the terrace on the mountains is fantastic, the location in a quiet Street nearby Lakeside is perfect . Thanu’s brother Laxman was a perfect host, he helped us with the organisaton of trips. The paragliding & daytrip in the mountains where so beautiful ! I would certainly book again. Highly reccommended!

Had a nice stay with feel home vibes, comfortable and cozy situated at good location with a reasonable price. The host was very responsive and welcoming. overall good stay would like to recommend for others as well.

This is a lovely place to stay in Pokhara, set back from the road, quiet and really comfortable - especially the bed! Nearby is a great supermarket, fruit and veg shop. Only 10 min walk down to lake. I was in the kitchen apartment - had everything I needed and I loved the huge windows and light and the fact it backed onto gardens both sides, even had a resident cow and chickens in one. A lovely roof terrace too. This family are such lovely people - really welcoming and kind and there to help with anything. There was such a nice feeling here as soon as I arrived, I felt lucky to find it. Also they have a lovely dog Hannah who greets you every time you come in!

Wonderful host and easy accomodation to settle into. The bed is super comfortable, we didn’t use the kitchen but was able to use the washing machine which was easy. Host gave us recommendations for places to check out and was very helpful. Location feels safe. A bit of a walk depending on where you want to be but a good choice if you want to be away from the main touristy roads

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans ce logement, super, au 5ieme étage, en rooftop, super vue sur le lac et sur la ville, tout près des rues principales. Pampha et ses fils ont été très au service, très disponibles, très aidant et réactifs quand nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Merci

Whether you're looking for short-term or long-term, Ram's apts. at 8848 are a great choice. Everything in the apt. was clean, new, and in good working order, and it's well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tons of hot water, day or night, and great shower pressure. Great location in Lakeside, but a bit away from the main touristy areas. Still an easy walk to the lake, but far enough away for a bit of peace and quiet. Easy access to some nice hikes and nature as well. For nomads like me, it's also a 5-minute walk to a co-working space, though I worked from the apt. most days. Super fast Wi-Fi too. And there's even a backup generator for when the power goes out (which is about once a week in Nepal). But the Wi-Fi here stays on! Ram is a kind and gracious host and will happily accommodate your every need. Would definitely come back :)

Beautiful accommodation, modern, comfortable, and clean. Excellent internet if you need to work online. A mountain trail right behind the house. Wonderful family, I'm very happy with my time here. I will come back

Yi's place is a quiet, clean, and comfortable place. You get a great view of the lake from the balcony and it's very calming to just sit there and do nothing. The beds and bathrooms were sparkling clean and well maintained. The place itself is about 2 KM from the main Lakeside area and away from all the noise. It's about a 30-minute walk or you could simply hire a bike to get around. And when in the lakeside area, a must visit is Yi's restaurant "The Juicery Cafe". It's a fantastic lakeside restaurant where we've probably had the best pork dish ever in our life!

My family absolutely loved the place and were impressed by its maintenance and cleanliness. They were able to locate it easily - thanks to Ashin's guidance. Also the recommended restaurants were great too! Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pokhara with their family. I hope to visit again too!

房间还不错，喜欢门口的小沙发，客厅有一张小床。卫生间稍微有些老旧，建议装一些挂钩，如果你也是冬天去，洗澡要放在下午或者傍晚，晚了可能没热水。厨房很大，但是灯坏了，一盏灯晚上有点暗。房东人很好，很多行程和活动是房东帮忙安排和购票的，很方便，调料也是去楼上房东的房间拿的，总体来说挺好的👍晚上没有热水洗澡希望提醒一下后来的旅客，避免尴尬😅

とても真摯に対応して下さり感謝しています。私のお部屋が５階だったのですが荷物を持って運んでくださったり、他にも行きたい場所への行き方・おすすめのお店などを教えてくれました。清掃は１週間に１回あり、ゴミは部屋の外へ出しておけば回収してくれます。 バスルームも綺麗でお湯も出るので快適に毎日シャワーを浴びることができました。 バルコニーからは天気が良いとヒマラヤ山脈が見えて本当に快適で良いお部屋でした。 オーナーやご家族の心温まるホスピテリティーが素敵な思い出を作ってくれました。ありがとうございました！

Felt right at home during my shirt stay. The host goes above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable. The Christmas dinner by the fire was warm a surprise and I would love to come back for it.

One of the best and most peaceful places to stay in Pokhara! I’ve stayed in a few different places around the city, and this one is by far my top choice. It truly felt like home. Super clean, calm, and relaxing. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to everyone!
