Our stay at the Aphroditi villa was outstanding. The host was very accommodating and the villa was stunning. A perfect place for a romantic getaway!

The villa was truly as described. When we arrived we were greeted by the hosts, who were incredibly warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well appointed and the area is perfect for families or really anyone looking to walk everywhere, including to a great beach and countless restaurants. This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was absolutely stunning! It was more beautiful in person! It is close to town and beaches! Host Elektra was awesome! She met us once we arrived and showed us around! She also sent us a list of recommendations for restaurants and beaches to visit! She was around in the mornings to check on us to make sure we didn’t need extras towels! We had a very peaceful experience and the house has lots of charm which we loved!!!

Fantastic stay in a great villa. Swimming pool on the roof is fabulous. Very well equipped property with everything you might need. Beds are really comfortable with ample air conditioning units in the rooms. Great location for touring Crete in the car, but a bit far out from Chania if you want to walk into the town. Taxis were readily available. Host is really helpful with recommendations.

We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! Eftychis was available via chat the whole time: kind, helpful, and always with great local recommendations. This place truly combines beauty, comfort, and care. We’d come back without hesitation. We had a fabulous stay here. The villa is lovely, inside and out, with a well equipped kitchen, including food staples and a variety of different seating areas outside. The pool is great and the beach is virtually on the doorstep, with free sunbeds (if you buy at least a drink from the local taverna). In terms of local amenities, there is a small shop and a couple of tavernas within a few minutes walk, plus a small hotel complex, where you can also eat and visit their bar. There are 2 larger supermarkets within a couple of kilometres, for which you would either need a car or taxi, however the hosts were kind enough to ferry us there and back, when we first arrived, which was so helpful. Chania Old Town is beautiful and we travelled there on a couple of occasions by taxi (28E) in the evening, but you can also take a bus which stops near to the villa. Finally, the hosts, Eleni and Thrasyvoulos were lovely, regularly checking in without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

The villa exudes luxury throughout with thoughtful details that ensure a high level comfort during your stay. We couldn’t make full use of the pool (price to heat was a bit high) but our daughters were braver and took a few quick dips. We stayed over Easter and planned visits into the local town and surrounding area to immerse ourselves in the celebrations and communities which was so memorable. We’d definitely love to stay again- it was a wrench to leave!!

An unforgettable stay at Villa In Vivo! Our experience at the Villa was nothing short of exceptional. The villa itself is pure luxury - spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a relaxing and carefree stay. What truly made our holiday special, however, was the incredible hospitality of our host, Panagoula. Even before our arrival, she was in touch with me, patiently answering all our questions and making us feel welcome from the start. We were greeted with such warmth at the airport, and upon arrival at the villa, we found delightful culinary surprises and a beautiful selection of fresh fruit waiting for us. The mid-stay cleaning service after four days was a lovely touch, and we are especially grateful for Panagoula’s tireless support after the stormy weather – and for the delicious, healthy meal she brought us during the week! You and your family are the best! Highly recommended – we’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks a lot!

We cannot have asked for a better place to stay in Chania. The house is a gorgeous villa perfect for a large family vacation. The location is on a breathtaking hill overlooking the city and old Harbor. There are tons of windows letting in natural light. You can be an old town in eight minutes by car or about 45 minutes walking. There are plenty of local mini markets and restaurants nearby. Michalis was a model host, and gave us plenty of recommendations for day trips, restaurants, treats, activities, and gave us very kind gifts throughout our stay. If we ever return to Crete, we will be staying here again!

Thoughtful/Delicious homemade meal ready on arrival. Kitchen stocked with basic food including many oranges for fresh squeezed OJ everyday & the best olive oil on Earth. Private/Tranquil location with amazing views yet close to beaches, market & bakery. Short walk to point for breathtaking sunset. Visited during low season so pool not used & did not think in advance to pay extra to heat hot tub but indoor fireplace used daily. Inexperienced drivers may have difficulty navigating to home. Rec 4x4 rental car with navigation system but did ok in Fiat Panda with propped up phone on dashboard. Sifis & family are amazing hosts, high quality humans & new friends. Hope to return someday for at least 2 weeks to see more of Crete. Would def stay here again if available. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and very well maintained, and everything was perfectly organized. We immediately felt comfortable and were able to fully enjoy our stay. Villa Levante was a perfect peaceful escape with an incredible view. The villa was clean, modern, and had a well-equipped kitchen that made us feel right at home. Vasilis was also incredibly welcoming and responsive, greeting us at check-in despite travel delays and addressing any questions in a timely manner. We had an amazing stay! Highly recommend!

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

We absolutely loved the stay here. The house is very beautiful, very spacious, and located directly next door to several amazing restaraunts.

This is a spectacular villa and easily matches the photos. One unexpected feature was that one of the two pools was shallow for the kids. That meant they could stand by themselves and they would play in it all day. The adults loved just lying in it too! Nikos was a great host. He welcomed us on to the property and was extremely responsive with our questions. He even delivered extra pool toys and Greek treats during our stay. The area is very private with a short drive to supermarkets and some classic waterfront restaurants. It’s also convenient to get to Chania airport. We loved our stay here as two families, it exceeded our expectations and would strongly recommend.

Perfect hosts, great place perfectly located for a gorgeous relaxing time in western Crete. The villa is just outside the road from Kissamos to Falassarna, making it easy to go to both Balos or one of the Falassarna beaches. The close town of Kissamos has plenty of great shops for local products. The villa itself is very modern with all the equipment you need for a comfortable and worriless stay. The air conditioning units are very efficient and we didn’t suffer from the record breaking heat we had for the period, allowing us to have good night sleep as they weren’t noisy. The legendary and unbelievable heartwarming level of welcome from the Cretans often materialise in the form of food, and we were lucky enough to taste the tasty local ingredients and dishes that were gifted from the hosts. This is the best way to experience one of the most beautiful place in the world, as it provides you with full independence with almost a hotel service level.
