Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Petralona, Athens

This place was a nice respite after our long sightseeing days. I could definitely spend an extended time here. There was a very nice outdoor space to enjoy and the inside had everything we needed. There were nice treats and snacks left for us in arrival that saved us having to go out and get anything when we arrived. We really appreciated the time in this place. The only thing to be aware of is you must be able to do stairs for entry. They are wide and sturdy though. It’s a lovely staircase. Overall a pleasant stay. Wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere but we were trying to get all the sights in. We were just a brief cab ride from all the most popular sites. Thank you!

The host was very kind and helpful. Although the location of the house is not in the center, you can reach anywhere you want by public transportation.

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Clara was sweet and welcoming. He waited patiently for us, even though we were a little late. She had prepared a little welcome drink for us. The house had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but very communicative with buses, trams and metro. It was easy and quick to get to the center, main attractions and beaches. There were shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so we didn't miss anything.

The ceilings, natural light, beautiful craftsmanship of the wood, REAL ART! We have travelled extensively and enjoyed some beautiful Airbnb experiences. Christos space has moved to #1 on our list. My doctor, his parents were born in Greece, advised I should limit our time in Athens to 2 or 3 days. We are so glad we didn’t. Christos created a book, which I was hoping to buy but he gave us, that is BRILLIANT. The book is a pictorial and informational guide to Athens and Greece. Which he told me he could reproduce quite easily. If you stay at his space you will understand my surprise. Everything you need is a few minutes walk away. We came to Greece because of the history and the islands. We fell in love with Greece, the kindness of its people and generosity of spirit. Christos and his place may be the best of it.

Everything was perfect! The room was as shown in the photos, clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would prefer it again without a second thought.

Great host, great location, wonderful neighborhood, recommended. Stayed there with my family. Lovely walls to the City Centre, great bakeries for morning breakfast nearby, amazing garden, fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Metro at 600 meters. Host communicates almost instantly. !

for me as a solo traveler, this flat was convenient and authentic. i liked the neighbourhood - residential yet enough coffee places and the occasional restaurant to try. communication was effortless and lots of tips where to go. wifi was stable enough to work there including video calls.

We stayed here before and loved it. This was the second time visiting and a few things have changed only in the local area. The place is spotless, homely, extra everything and a great coffee maker. The area is good - you have a new shop down in the square which does everything and there is also a new bio shop as well. The restaurants are in full swing as it is summer so yuo dont need to go far. ONE THING = THE AIR CON IS FABULOUS! Last time we were there we didnt need the air con, now in the summer we did and it is excellent and instant. Our stay was great; this apartment was squeaky clean and exactly as pictured. Walkable to city centre and close to a very interesting historic park. The garage gate helped us feel safe and secure as women travelling alone and was easy to use. The host's gift of a bottle of wine was very thoughtful- make sure you bring a corkscrew and enjoy! 100% recommended.

This studio has all the basics that you need. I really only needed somewhere to shower, get ready and sleep. The host was responsive. The area is walkable to the train station and a bunch of local eateries and bars. It's walkable to Acropolis and very close to taxis. There was a couple mosquitos but that's normal given the weather. Not the hosta fault. Everything felt secure as the place was located in the back and had locks. Only a couple small recommendations is maybe a better blanket. The thick blanket is a bit rough. But I didn't end up needing it since it was so warm. The AC was really useful. Very responsible friendly host.

Apartment was very clean well decorated bed was comfortable. We felt we more then got our money’s worth all went smoothly. If we come back to Athens we would definitely stay here!

We had such a wonderful time during our trip to Athens, from arrival to departure, in great part thanks to our amazing host and her beautiful place. We felt right at home with a warm welcome from Militsa. She is so attentive, generous and proactive. She made her place functional and charming. The large balcony was our favourite spot to hang out and relax. We also used one of the smaller balconies as a cooler option during a warm day. One of our highlights was also to discover Petralona and its great restaurants. One of them, a suggestion from Militsa, was Pezodromos Originaly Greek. Nice for takeout too, and the staff started to recognize us and were so friendly! It was super easy to use the metro to travel everywhere we wanted in Athens, including from the airport to the Airbnb and back. Thank you so much again Militisa, for your warm welcome and for being so thoughtful. We enjoyed meeting you and staying at your place. We appreciated all that you offered and provided.

It was a cosy and comfortable apartment. Was lovely coming back to it at the end of the day.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Athens! From the moment we arrived, our host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She struck the perfect balance of being available whenever we needed help, yet always respecting our privacy, something we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was stunning, tastefully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the pool, which we had the pleasure of enjoying throughout our stay. It felt like our own little oasis in the city. Another thoughtful touch was the welcome basket, such attention to detail! It was clear that a lot of care and consideration went into making our stay special. And a special thank you to our host for being so patient and kind when we (more than once!) forgot our keys. She never made us feel like a burden and always helped with a smile. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend it highly enough ❤️

Had a great stay — the place was clean, comfortable, and the host communicated everything clearly and promptly!

A descent place 15 minutes away from the touristic attractions, also away from the hurly-burly of city center. Very clean, we had everything we expected from a kitchen, also found nice little treats in the fridge. There is a bar right across the street so there may be noise until around 12 or 1 am. Earplugs would be suggested for sensitive early sleepers. But all in all I would suggest this place, especially you can explore restaurants nearby.

Pepy was like talking to an old friend who provided us with great recommendations. I would definitely stay at her lovely home again and will be recommending to family and friends.

Prefect location. Walkable to all sights and attractions. Streets are busy but like any large city it is the best and easiest way to get around. The apartment was amazing. Balcony pictures on listing do not do any justice to standing outside or in jacuzzi. Tax and yannis were extremely Helpful assisting with rides to and from the port/airport as well as tons of local recommendations!

The place was a great. It was nice to be on a neighborhood a little away from the crowds. It was peaceful on the terrace. There were two really good restaurants within a block and half. Along with some bakeries, coffee shops and mini markets. Made it very convenient! Place was very clean and comfortable.
