Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pest County

A gem found in Nagymaros, which was found by chance for us. The location is great and has a beautiful view. Extensive garden and a nice accommodation. The upper floor is a bit cramped for the somewhat taller person, but can be easily adapted. Neighbors and also owners of the residence are very friendly, offer privacy, but are also up for a nice conversation in which they have tips for the area. All in all, I would definitely book this again and this was a very nice experience.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming little house in the hills of Hungary. The location was perfect – tucked away from everything with a beautiful view of the river, offering a peaceful escape. It was also conveniently close to Budapest, making it easy to drive into the city for day trips and return in time to put our little one to bed. The nearby Visegrád ferry crossing was a lovely touch, adding to the charm of the area. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, family-friendly retreat with easy access to Budapest and the surrounding area!

Everything was great! Zsófia's mom, Krisztina, contacted me and guided us through everything. She was very friendly and even gave us a ride to Tesco since we didn’t have a car. The house is really cute, it's located up on a hill, so walking there can be a bit of a challenge, but with a car, it's perfect. We also had a neighbor dog keeping us company during our stay, which was a lovely bonus! :)

We were Masodjara, a very good barbeque place further, a calm, unfenced, everything was fine!

The landlord was very kind and helpful, and the place itself was very nice.

Sophie was very kind, upon booking she immediately provided me with all the references to find the accommodation, open the doors, arrive at the apartment, take the keys and enter but above all she was always available and nice for any request, responding quickly and accurately even during the stay. The accommodation is beautiful and in a formidable location, in the heart of downtown, well served by vehicles, with numerous restaurants/bars and with the possibility of reaching the majority of places of interest on foot with a maximum of 15/25 minutes walk. On the ground floor there is a paid service to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very cozy in a bit old-fashioned way, located in a beautiful quiet area not far from the city center. Csaba is a great host, who welcomed us in person. Over all we had a wonderful experience and Budapest is a splendid city. Highly recommend Csaba's place!

Very cozy and centrally located accommodation in lovely neighborhood in Budapest! 😻 Busy street, but nothing bothered me. At the top with a very nice balcony, which unfortunately was a little too cold to enjoy😫. Will definitely come back. 🤗🌞 Can really recommend! I stayed 3 nights and had a great stay. The location is perfect, nearby lively areas but in a quite street. The flat is very nice and very well equipped. Communication was very easy and the recommendations were very useful. Thank you.

Wonderful apartment and a great host. Communication was very good and the welcome treats and list of local recommendations were very welcome. Groceries and restaurants were nearby. Ildi’s Place / The Barker Residence is a phenomenal place to stay for your holiday in Budapest! The home is spacious, exceptionally clean and ideally located near the Opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica. There are 3 separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The beds are comfortable. Also there are all necessary amenities - washer and dryer, hair dryers, fully stocked kitchen, AC and heating, plus many well thought out extras. Finally, Ildi is a wonderfully communicative hostess. She was very helpful in answering any questions, her instructions were all clear and she even provided recommendations and help regarding travel arrangements, restaurants and things to do. We cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough!

Great stay in the apartment. Everything as listed though the terrace was a lot smaller than it looked on the pics. Only suggestion is bigger towels for guests but an excellent apartment and Everything very clearly explained.

We were two families staying at the house. The four boys loved the large garden, the jacuzzi and the foosball. It is a spacious house in a peaceful, spacious surrounding. We had a great time.

In real life it is twice better than on photos. Big, clean, cozy, relax Villa with a lot of private spaces, so even if you have big group all of them can find place for relax from each other if needed. Great sauna, big jacuzzi, big pool. A lot of staff, toys for the baby and infants (even a pool is secured from the baby if needed). You can stay with dogs since all the territory 100% secured and fenced. 1 parking spot on the territory, and about 3 parking space just behind the fence. Totally recommended!

In the middle of the city and yet felt all alone. An amazing view of the city.
