The in law suite is located in the lower level of a large home in Orleans in the East end of Ottawa.The in-law suite has a bedroom (double bed) w/desk & television ; living room w/fireplace & a sofa that is the size of a single bed for 1 person and a television. Fully equipped kitchen. The laundry is on the same level & private full bathroom for the in law suite guests only. Lovely back yard. Guests can use the exercise room equipped w/treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical & weights, etc.

Our long weekend at this charming cottage was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a serene and tranquil location, the peaceful ambiance was a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage itself exuded warmth and character, adorned with delightful local decorations that truly captured the essence of the area. It felt like a home away from home, with every corner telling a unique story. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the picturesque view of the lake right in front of the cottage. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature and the sight of the tranquil waters was a truly enchanting experience. But what truly set this experience apart was the host. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their responsiveness, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and valued.

⸻ We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The place fully matched the description — everything was just as expected. The house was clean and cozy, with fresh towels, clean bed linen, and plenty of kitchenware. The self check-in process was smooth and convenient. All appliances were in good working order, which made our stay even more comfortable. Thank you very much to the hosts for the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The Moss Rock Cottage was the perfect summer weekend retreat for my friends and family, especially right before my graduation (honestly should've stayed longer!). Andy and Paddy were very warm and helpful over both messaging and in person when Paddy showed us around the cottage for check in. There were so many activities to do that catered to each person in the group, we definitely made the most out of the water sports on the beautiful lake and the many games inside while ABBA played :) We could tell Andy and Paddy love their cottage from the amazing decor and with having absolutely everything you need stocked. We would love to come back here!!
