The house is nicely furnished in my opinion and good for big group gatherings. Many bed rooms available with a mix of single and double beds which are quite comfortable. And apart from the living room, there are other areas that friends/family can huddle around, both indoors and outdoors. All the basic amneties are provided and work fine. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive, providing prompt response and help when needed. The only downside I feel is the narrow road and insufficient parking. It's convinient if you have 3 cars (or 4 if you park one right in front of the gate). Anything more and you need to park further... and the nearby Sunny Point complex is an option, but you need a 3-5 minute walk back to the property. Also, food choices within walking distance is limited to a few Malay food stalls. Overall, it was good value in my opinion... just be mindful if you are travelling with many cars, then it might not be the best choice.

Nice place except there’s small insects in the house. Expected since the area is village area but would appreciate if the owner provides insect repellent especially to guest travelling with little babies.

I would say if you have a huge amount of people this is a good place to get away from the city. Most of the amenities are available right here. A really great spot to view the beach which is just right outside the house and a great bonding session in this house!

A spacious home that's perfect for big families. Ideal for those who enjoy hanging out together, cooking meals, and relaxing near the beach. The beach is within walking distance, making it very convenient. We were even greeted by some cheeky monkeys outside the house – they weren’t dangerous at all and just added to the fun. It really felt like a tropical escape, staying by the beach with a touch of the jungle. Thank you to the host for the lovely stay!

The host is so nice and responsive. She also took good care of my arrival by helping me to arrange a driver who is professional and friendly. Definitely a good place to choose if you visit Penang!

The house was very clean and clutter free, and being a person that dislikes insects and dirty surroundings in a home, this place was perfect! Zero bugs, clean and clutter-free interior. It is very obvious that our lovely host has poured her heart and soul into this place. Loved the design of the place! Amenities were provided as per the listing, and check-in was a breeze as well. Location is great, and very peaceful. Apple, our lovely host, was very warm and friendly, providing us with directions and recommendations based on our trip. She checked in on us a few times throughout to ensure we're doing alright and if we needed anything. I highly recommend this place if anyone is looking for a clutter-free, clean, and modern accomodation for a big group. 10/10 for accommodation 15/10 for the host

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we checked in, we felt warmly welcomed – our host had even prepared a lovely hamper for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore Penang. Communication was smooth throughout – our host was always responsive, easy to talk to, and even answered phone calls promptly when we had questions. She also reminded us to enjoy durian during the season, which was a fun and authentic local experience we wouldn’t have wanted to miss! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Penang. We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The host clearly put a lot of thought and care into the design — the house is beautifully decorated and truly feels like a home. It looks exactly like the photos: clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Located in a residential area, the house is quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient. There are some local homes nearby that sell food, which was a pleasant surprise. The house can comfortably fit two parked cars and has all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and three bathrooms with showers — perfect for a group or family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and well-maintained place to stay!

Our group of 9 adults and 2 kids stayed 2 nights here, and the unit is spacious and there was enough space for us to relax in the evening. The location is quiet, but very convenient and a short drive to the town centre. Private parking space for 3 cars. The unit is very well-equipped, and many of the amenities are very new. Each room has 2 Double Beds (Queen size, and not King size as advertised). Some slight enhancement is perhaps to add some racks or hooks in the bathroom where we can hang towels. All in all, it was a great accommodation!

Amazing place to stay with friends and family. The place is not only as beautiful as in the picture, it is also very spacious, comfortable and is equipped with everything you need to relax. Utensil, fridge, induction cooker, pot, kettle, water filter machine with hot/cold water, you name it. Cleanliness is very important factor to me, and this place get a 5/5 stars from me, its clean and odorless! I will definitely come back again.

We stayed 4 days 3 night at Cheeleong place and it was a nice experience of old house vibe. Check in was smooth and easy thanks for Chee Leong for allowing us to come in early around 130pm. The place has its own charm but not to everyone liking is presume.. as the old wall crack, old wooden door, old glass panel window create the ambient of actual old house in Penang. All basic amenities provided, ample space for everything. The bedroom upstairs is huge with seating area and the bed is comfy enough for 2 of us. The place is located at the heart of georgetown and easy access to everywhere via foot or short car ride. Don’t expect hotel level services or condition if you decided to booked here as the house its actual old building in Penang. Well recommended place for people who appreciate heritage and architecture of old building.

The aunty was especially sweet and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The house is spacious, spotlessly clean, and filled with beautiful plants that give it such a peaceful, homely vibe. It’s also conveniently located with easy access to everything we needed.
